The coolant leak is from an auxiliary radiator. I drive a CTS-V, so its not your basic cooling system. They were honest with me and said they have never changed that system on a V and wouldn't feel comfortable doing so. They could have easily just winged it just to get my money. But, they were honest about it and didn't even charge me for diagnosing the issue since they couldn't work on it. Definitely taking my other cars here when they need something.

They are honest and, in my opinion, absolutely number one. They have always been more than fair in pricing, but even more than that, they have always been straightforward with my vehicles have never pressured me to do anything that I didn't feel was necessary. They've always been good to give me a plan for what might need attention down the road, but never tried to sell me on service I didn't need. Never once have I ever felt like I've been taken advantage of. That goes the same for my wife. I have a classic 1997 Ford F150 and about four years ago I got some brake-work done by another mechanic in town. When I got the vehicle back, the brakes were worse than before! After going back multiple times to make it right, I finally washed my hands and walked away. I went to TWO other recommended mechanics after that to tried to get the situation correctly diagnosed and resolved. Both places said nothing was wrong even after a test drive with me in the vehicle each time. I started to think that it was just the fact that my truck was older. But after going to honest-1 for other things like oil changes and some engine work, I told them about my brakes situation. They took a look and found the problem in no time. And in just a few hours, they had me back on the road and now my brakes work beautifully!! Smooth and controlled! Just like they're supposed to be. Anthony and the team at Honest-1 are phenomenal. When I brought up the damage, the shop offered aftermarket replacements that did not match OEM quality or finish. After I declined the aftermarket parts, the shop told me they "could not do anything further." I have spent months trying to source OEM replacements myself, and the cost is significantly higher than what the shop offered. The shop has refused to cover the proper OEM repair. This review is not about the repair being difficult -- it's about the lack of accountability and the refusal to restore the vehicle to its original condition after causing visible damage during their work. If you care about your vehicle's interior, especially OEM trim, I would strongly recommend choosing a different shop. UPDATE: Response - There was no detailed discussion or explanation of specific interior trim risks before the work. - I was never presented with or asked to sign any disclaimer regarding interior damage. If the shop has a signed copy, I've requested it but have not received one. - The wood trim, vent assembly, and glovebox panel were not damaged prior to the service and the new damage is consistent with improper removal tools and handling, not age-related failure. - Aftermarket Amazon parts offered to me do not match OEM Lexus materials, so declining those is not "declining a solution." I've sent the shop a detailed email directly so this can be addressed privately and professionally. My goal is simply proper OEM replacement for the items that were damaged during the service.

They have a wonderful waiting area with guest WiFi, coffee bar, private bathroom, kids play activities, fresh magazines, and every charger you could ever need. I wasn't surprised when I found out Accurate Auto was owned by a woman. It's appointed like a nice Air B&B! It doesn't hurt that the front desk team of David and Mario are awesome and super friendly! We would like to share our personal review of a local auto repair shop located in Hockley…read more Please consider avoiding INNOVATIVE CAR CARE located on 2920 in Hockley. This will be a long post, but I'll try to sum it up. Long story short they dont honor warranties on their work and lie about things needing be replaced. We initially brought my daughter's truck in for a new transmission. Shortly after the transmission was replaced, it began to leak fluid extensively. It appeared to require another rebuild. Not long after that, the transmission failed again and needed to be replaced once more. We then took it to a different shop because Innovative declined to honor the warranty. When we retrieved the truck after after one of the stays at Innovative, we observed that all the fuel was gone, despite the tank being full when we dropped it off. We initially wondered if we were mistaken and simply made a mental note. During the period of the transmission issues, we also experienced problems with the air conditioning and requested that they examine it. We invested several thousand dollars to have virtually the entire system replaced. Upon picking up the truck this time, for some reason, the engine brake had ceased functioning after the work they performed. Two years later, the air conditioning failed again. We returned it, assuming the parts would still be under warranty. However, they informed us there was no warranty and that the condenser and Schrader valve needed replacement. We paid nearly a thousand dollars for this service, and they declared it ready. We collected the truck, and the air conditioning worked for two days before failing again. We brought it back, and they promised to provide an update the same day. Two days passed without any communication. Finally, we received a call stating that the compressor and evaporator core needed to be replaced, and these parts were also not under warranty, with an additional cost of $1200. Naturally, I questioned these claims. We contacted three other shops for a second opinion, and they all advised us to return to the original shop, as all those parts should have a lifetime warranty. We then called O'Reilly, as the representative at Innovative stated they had an account there and did not receive a lifetime warranty on parts. When O'Reilly was contacted, they confirmed that their parts do indeed carry a lifetime warranty. When they were confronted with this and point blank asked where they were buying their parts they stated "several places, which ever place is the cheapest". Furthermore, on each occasion my daughter needed to retrieve something from the truck at the shop, it was found unlocked and parked near the road (2920). When we brought this to their attention, their response was that "no one ever comes up here." During this period, we had them replace the water pump, which unfortunately failed again shortly after its replacement. We returned it for another replacement, only to experience a similar issue. The third time, my husband replaced the pump himself, and we have not encountered any problems since then. I have reviewed their reviews, and it appears this may be a recurring concern. It seems improbable that every single component replaced two years ago would require replacement again. This establishment appears to be engaging in deceptive practices.
