This is the lady that was kicking my friends leg, at the counter. Why is there a seat directly, at the counter??
    Julie A.

THIS PLACE DOES NOT PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING!! I was there a couple days ago with my friend. She had a mammogram scheduled. She had spoken with someone named, Azalea. This person booked her appointment and explained to her, she was to come alone, wear a mask, only come in with insurance card and ID. My friend was also informed if she coughed, 1 time, she would promptly be asked to leave. Azalea went on to inform my friend, if she is feeling under the weather, to reschedule. My friend and I are both free of any illness. We walked in together, and I immediately noticed, every other seat was taped off. The distance between 1 seat from the other was about 3 ft, not the 6 feet that is required. STRIKE ONE We walked to the front desk, so she could check in. They have a chair, directly in front of the counter. The lady seated there, kept kicking my friends leg, she was trying to get comfortable, I guess. Obviously her legs are not 6 feet long either. STRIKE TWO! As my friend was handing the staff her ID, the lady behind her, immediately started coughing. We all stopped to look at her, and to our surprise, she was NOT asked to leave.. STRIKE THREE My friend was told to sit and wait till her name was called, I walked to the hallway and waited for her. She sat down in an area where there are only 4 seats, 2 were taped off. Quite a distance from the coughing lady. About 10 minutes later, a lady walked in, her mask was clearly under her chin, nose and mouth were exposed, she checked in and was NOT told to cover up. I glanced to my friend, and she was looking very upset.. wouldn't you know, the lady with the mask under her chin, sat next to my friend!! That lady immediately began to cough and cough, my friend stood up and waited with me in the hallway. STRIKE 4 !!! This waiting room seats about 20 people. 5 of those patients brought, spouses, kids and friends. We just could not believe what was happening. Everything Azalea told us not to do, was being done, and the staff members did NOTHING!! STRIKE 5 !! Thankfully my friends name was called, she was in and out. We immediately sanitized ourselves and sat in the car, so upset. How is this possible?? This is a MEDICAL OFFICE, Is it not? How do you allow people to come in, no mask, coughing and their family taking up seats?? This place was so unprofessional. I will be sure that my Dr never refers anyone to this place. My friend took pictures, I am uploading 2. One image is the space between the seats taped off. About 3 feet distance. The other, is the lady that was kicking my friends leg at the counter.. If you are really trying to spread the virus, you are doing a hell of a job!!

Came in for x rays since my MD suspected I fractured or broke some ribs last Friday. Parking can be painful at times here due to that it's located in a medical plaza and quite busy. Since I had been here before my wait time wasn't long even without an appointment which was suprising since it was a Monday morning after the long new year weekend. In addition to the efficiency, the X ray technician was friendly and knowledgeable. My visit here was pleasant. BTW the x rays were positive as fractured ribs so I'll be returning in a couple of weeks to re test to see if my ribs are healing. : (

This is the worst place you can come to. Please avoid this place, it is dirty! The ladies in the front desk and rude with very bad attitudes. They do not know how to schedule appointments. Once you come to your appointment they cancel it.

    Gender reveal ready!

I just had my 17/18 week ultrasound and I had the privilege to be taken care by Laurie. What an amazing staff to have. I myself work in an imaging clinic and our Ultrasound tech can take some pointers from Laurie. I asked if she could keep my baby's gender a secret and she took extra steps to make sure my baby's sex was nicely packed for me to give it to my Gender Keeper before my Gender reveal. But besides that she was so attentive to her work I could feel her love for her work. Thank you Laurie for making my Visit so enjoyable and calming my quiet nerves with your positive happy Disposition. 5 stars for Her

They also had 3 guys helping me with the MRI, which I found to be excessive. A positive is that you can store your belongings in a locker, with a 4-digit code of your choosing. But I would suggest leaving behind your valuables in your car, since you shouldn't be using it in the lobby anyway. When I got my results within a week, I only saw my cervical and lumbar results, but nothing for the brain. However, that could also have been an issue with the doctor's office. My chiropractor wanted me to ask for specific measurements that also weren't listed on the paperwork. Also, the most disappointing part was I never received a CD of my MRIs, which is apparently given to most patients... They also send a lot of messages regarding your appointment via text and e-mail.

Once I registered at the front desk it was only about 10-15 minutes wait time. I went to the back room got dressed into a gown and the tech was very helpful, quick and professional. When I was initially scheduled, the person sent me here amongst other locations they had, but it was a very weird scheduling system. I can't explain all the things they were telling me over the phone, but to make it short, all their locations were booked and certain locations couldn't do certain tests. It really was too far in my opinion from where I live but they only gave me 2 appointment options and they were both far.

The front desk, although not overly personable, are friendly and efficient. We each checked in with ease on both of our visits. The lobby has a few chairs, however there is room for more and I suggest they add some additional chairs as during both visits patients were standing for part of their wait. Bathroom is clean, office is tidy. Wait times for each appointment were not bad at all. Scheduling our appointments was also within a reasonable time. Parking is marked on the street for Shin patients at no cost, which is nice because this area is really tough to find easy parking and what is easy to find will cost you. Only one of our visits were we able to take advantage of the reserved spots, but very nice that they have them available. Now to the MRI. My husband is very claustrophobic and told them both on the appointment setting and in the office prior to the MRI. We both felt that the techs could have been a bit more sensitive to that. He felt like he was barely on the table when they shoved him into the machine without saying a word or warning. He was not mentally prepared for this. My husband is definitely no wuss, trust me, he's a rugged man's man through and through, but his claustrophobia is straight up real. His 45 minute MRI was cut short to 10 minutes because the anxiety got too high for him. The anxiety is not the technicians' fault, but maybe had they been a bit more sensitive to his phobia and gently eased him in, it may not have been so bad. He did return a week later with some comforting valium and the awareness that he would be flung down the chamber like a dude at a water park. He successfully made it through that second test. Now he's prepared. During my MRI, I did notice that they get you done in a hurry. It did not bother me one bit as I have no claustrophobia at all. Paying attention to the swiftness of the loading into the machine, my husband was right, they get you in fast. My headphones weren't even on my ears yet and away I went into the canal. But, again, for me it was fine, just noticing it since my husband was so sensitive to it. All-in-all, Shin was a great place to have our MRIs done, the ease of appointment setting, the wait time, the efficiency, the parking. Great job with all of this!! Our only suggestion is that when you have someone with true claustrophobia, a little extra care, compassion, and preparedness would be nice. Great job Shin! Would have no problem returning... and honestly neither would my husband, he'll just need the valium and the self-given pep talk first.

I joined the waitlist at 8:47am with only 1 other person ahead of me on the waitlist. There were only a few people waiting so I believed that it would only be an hour wait. Especially because they were calling people back pretty quickly. I normally don't rate establishments low, but in this case there needs to be a change. Either don't accept walk ins or update your wait expectations to be more accurate so that people don't waste an hour or more waiting to never be called. Especially when they charge $8 for parking. Facility is nice, but not enough chairs. Staff was nice and friendly. They were fast and efficient. I ended up waiting almost 2 hours. Minus 1 star for setting unrealistic walk ins wait time expectations. Minus 1 star for charging $8 for parking Moral of the story is never go to quest without an appointment.

I went in for a simple blood draw on Saturday, November 22, 2025, and the phlebotomist who worked on me was wearing long designer acrylic nails. This is a direct violation of CDC infection control guidelines that prohibit artificial nails for clinical staff due to the very real contamination risks. It also violates OSHA standards that require employers to provide safe conditions for patients. Her acrylic nails interfered with the procedure and she missed my vein. She caused significant pain and did not acknowledge it, did not apologize, and did not show even basic empathy. Hours afterward the site of the attempted draw was still painful and stinging, which is not normal for a proper venipuncture. The whole interaction felt careless, unprofessional, and unsafe. I left the site shaken and seriously questioning whether Quest has any real oversight at this location. If this is happening openly in front of patients, I do not want to imagine what is happening behind the scenes. I emailed Quest Diagnostics a detailed, formal complaint. I included the appointment code, the location, and the exact issues, along with the specific CDC and OSHA standards that were violated. It has been days and I have received no response at all. No acknowledgment. No follow up. Nothing. Their silence makes the situation even worse. When a company that handles medical samples and patient health information ignores a safety complaint of this seriousness, it tells you everything about their internal culture and priorities. I will now be escalating this beyond Quest directly. I will be filing complaints with the following agencies: * California Department of Public Health * Clinical Laboratory Field Services * OSHA No patient should have to experience this, and no one should be exposed to unsafe practices because a location chooses to ignore basic clinical standards. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for your lab work until Quest proves that they take safety and accountability seriously.
