We make an appointment with these people months ago and they tell me it's on Veteran's day and now upon arrival it's a mistake. It's actually another day in the future. I took time off to take my auntie here and now I need to take more time off for a mistake on there part. Very frustrating and it's poor quality. I don't recommend anyone to come here! Go elsewhere if you can. It's been renamed WAVE imaging which their new name with poor quality of service. read more

I had a good experience here. I needed an ultrasound done. Making the appointment was easy. They do need doctors orders faxed to their office. Beware that the fax machine number is an 888 number. So, be sure to call and find out the fax number because apparently a lot of people confuse it with another number. My check in was quick. Have ID and insurance ready. My ultrasound person was really nice, explanatory and kind. I felt comfortable. read more

I have been going to different wave imaging for last a few yrs and felt pretty good in most of my visits. However today was my send visit within last 3 weeks In Whittier office which is about 30 minutes drive "in a good day" from my house in Belmont Shore area. all staff are super friendly, helpful, and waiting time is reasonable and very short. today for the 2nd time I was treated by just one fabulous gentleman name Edward. if you want to feel comfortable, relax and calm , hope you are lucky enough to be taking care of by him. I am so grateful and appreciate him. Thank you all for making a very stressful test, easy and breezy. Soheila Long Beach read more

THIS PLACE DOES NOT PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING!! I was there a couple days ago with my friend. She had a mammogram scheduled. She had spoken with someone named, Azalea. This person booked her appointment and explained to her, she was to come alone, wear a mask, only come in with insurance card and ID. My friend was also informed if she coughed, 1 time, she would promptly be asked to leave. Azalea went on to inform my friend, if she is feeling under the weather, to reschedule. My friend and I are both free of any illness. We walked in together, and I immediately noticed, every other seat was taped off. The distance between 1 seat from the other was about 3 ft, not the 6 feet that is required. STRIKE ONE We walked to the front desk, so she could check in. They have a chair, directly in front of the counter. The lady seated there, kept kicking my friends leg, she was trying to get comfortable, I guess. Obviously her legs are not 6 feet long either. STRIKE TWO! As my friend was handing the staff her ID, the lady behind her, immediately started coughing. We all stopped to look at her, and to our surprise, she was NOT asked to leave.. STRIKE THREE My friend was told to sit and wait till her name was called, I walked to the hallway and waited for her. She sat down in an area where there are only 4 seats, 2 were taped off. Quite a distance from the coughing lady. About 10 minutes later, a lady walked in, her mask was clearly under her chin, nose and mouth were exposed, she checked in and was NOT told to cover up. I glanced to my friend, and she was looking very upset.. wouldn't you know, the lady with the mask under her chin, sat next to my friend!! That lady immediately began to cough and cough, my friend stood up and waited with me in the hallway. STRIKE 4 !!! This waiting room seats about 20 people. 5 of those patients brought, spouses, kids and friends. We just could not believe what was happening. Everything Azalea told us not to do, was being done, and the staff members did NOTHING!! STRIKE 5 !! Thankfully my friends name was called, she was in and out. We immediately sanitized ourselves and sat in the car, so upset. How is this possible?? This is a MEDICAL OFFICE, Is it not? How do you allow people to come in, no mask, coughing and their family taking up seats?? This place was so unprofessional. I will be sure that my Dr never refers anyone to this place. My friend took pictures, I am uploading 2. One image is the space between the seats taped off. About 3 feet distance. The other, is the lady that was kicking my friends leg at the counter.. If you are really trying to spread the virus, you are doing a hell of a job!! read more

WOW your customer service is the worse I have ever experienced. Your receptionist Perla rudest person to have in the front desk. I took my mom to her appointment that she had at 4pm. When we arrived Perla was the staff member to help us. She stated that we were late. I told someone from here called to tell that my mom need two exams not just one so you have to come earlier. I'm like I will try since I made the appointment at 4 why would the receptionist that made the appointment notice that she should come in earlier. I'm explaining this to Perla. She then proceeds by tell me that my mom might be seen. I'm like her original appointment is at 4. That's when Perla started mocking me specially when I asked for a manager she told me they quit. I said I wonder why? She replied very condescending I know I wonder why. I told her wow great service she just giggled. I asked to be help by the other receptionist which by the way gave me way better service then Perla. When asking for Perla name to the other receptionist, Perla shout it out to me. Again condescending I had to tell her to keep quit silence is golden. Rude rude rude. read more

I hate to go in on Dr. Offices because every experience can be different but my visit was a nightmare. I will start by saying they DO NOT PRACTICE social distancing. Yes, signs are up but nothing is being enforced or overlooked! Like instead of putting tape on chair just remove the damn chair. Its true behind the appointment window there's at least 4 people in a tiny little space. Not really attitude towards me but more overbooked, unorganized frustration attitude. I have a small mass on my left side. So I'm here for a Pelvic CT scan! I asked questions beforehand like, is it gonna hurt? And will I be able to drive? The response was show up an hour early request a "drink" and its just a tunnel scan. I walk in to friendly technician named "ED" BUT THIS GUY OMG!! A few seconds in he says "ok lay back and I'm gonna inject this stuff it might feel good it might not! Lol ok. I wasn't aware I'd have an iv connected but ok Lets go. My arm was hanging off side so I scooted so my arm can rest for the IV. He said oh nono.. you gonna fall. I guess he had lifted me up 3 or 4 feet already. So my arms hanging which is red flag because I feel in prior experience my arm should be resting on something. He pokes. Asked does it hurt? I'm like no! He says again omg you sure? I'm like " I have high pain tolerance" what should I be feeling? He's like oh wow never experience this in my life. I'm like what??? Panicked. Your arm has bumps. Again does it hurt? At this point my arm still hanging yes with stuff cushion under my armpit but my elbow down was just hanging. I tell him you know what get me the hell off this. I don't know what I'm supposed to be feeling. No it don't hurt but technician ED is freaking me out with his omg and nervous giggle. I requested an office manager. She was shocked and advised me not to cuss but I am the patient, ED is the professional that was far from knowledgeable in his profession. It didn't seem like he had a clue office mgr states she never received complaints. Ya because most patient are elderly so PLEASE don't just drop off your elderly. Check on them, stay with them!! So I guess I'm the first complaint. Office manager stated there was probably a language barrier!! Wtf!!! Hello I am the patient if there is an employee that cannot communicate properly in English then you have a problem. I'm sorry I don't speak his language! I sat in my car and cried!!! My arm is swollen because he did not hit vein and was slowly releasing that shit blindly in my arm!! Office manager also stated my primary Physician office should have told me about iIV?? Umm that's an ignorant response. NO ACCOUNTABILITY why would another office be responsible for that. Please beware and speak up!! The good reviews after mine are suspect. All of a sudden. ***Putting an IV in someone that is lifted 4 ft in air and saying don't jump or you fall. I was worried for my life at that point. read more

Came in for x rays since my MD suspected I fractured or broke some ribs last Friday. Parking can be painful at times here due to that it's located in a medical plaza and quite busy. Since I had been here before my wait time wasn't long even without an appointment which was suprising since it was a Monday morning after the long new year weekend. In addition to the efficiency, the X ray technician was friendly and knowledgeable. My visit here was pleasant. BTW the x rays were positive as fractured ribs so I'll be returning in a couple of weeks to re test to see if my ribs are healing. : ( read more

I just had my 17/18 week ultrasound and I had the privilege to be taken care by Laurie. What an amazing staff to have. I myself work in an imaging clinic and our Ultrasound tech can take some pointers from Laurie. I asked if she could keep my baby's gender a secret and she took extra steps to make sure my baby's sex was nicely packed for me to give it to my Gender Keeper before my Gender reveal. But besides that she was so attentive to her work I could feel her love for her work. Don't do it! I wish I could give it to zero Stars... Seriously, ask your doctor to send you anywhere else. I was 15 minutes early to my first appointment and they still had me waiting a half an hour + past my appointment time. For a follow-up appointment I called them to let them know I would be a few minutes late and they informed me that because I wasn't there for the 15-minute check-in time they would no longer see me. that's fine, I could have rescheduled except for the fact that the chick on the phone was so obscenely rude that I just decided I will no longer be going here. Go to pih if you can this place only does two images for mammogram. And it's not very nice office nothing compares to pih. StY away

This place is very unprofessional they have some kind of wall that separates the patient's/customer's from the girls in the front desk area along with the chola that works in the back office. They think that we can't hear all the rude and negative things they are saying about their own co-workers. But we can! Stop being rude, learn to be professional. You're not in the neighborhood. You're at a business. read more

1st time coming here and can't believe how rude the front desk is. Walked up to the appointment window and was ask "can I help you?!" No hello, hi nothing and seemed to be annoyed of being asked anything. Said I'm here for my appointment asked for ID and INS card and go sit down. Ultrasound tech was sweet but was just trying to get the job done. This was our 1st visit for a 1st time pregnancy wish it was more then just a hurry up thing and bathrooms were flooded. Might have been a building thing. Oh and they butchered my name on the ultrasound image ‍ read more

This is the worst business for any imaging that you might need. The customer service over the phone is horrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The fact that this imaging center and MRI equipment is in the same office as the good Dr Pang is tragic. If you need an MRI done do you self a favor and find anywhere else to schedule an appointment. I have given this location a 5 star in the past due to the ultrasound technician being so wonderful but with Irene sitting at the front desk I give this place a negative star rating if I can. Irene is horrible, her attitude is nasty. If you hate your life please stay home don't ruin other people's lives. I had a ultrasound scheduled for 2 weeks ahead for 10:30am . No one calls to confirm the appointment so when I show up she tells me I'm late as check in was 10:15am but guess what no one informed me of this. Then she says she can't see me without a doctor order or authorization. Which my doctor sent to them a week prior . Making me call the entire world to get information she should have gotten prior to my appointment. Find someone else that knows how to do there job and is friendly unlike sycho Irene . Worst customer service I have received yet. read more

After my good experience with the Anaheim location I took my mother here to this location. Just as I had expected the staff were super efficient and kind. The tech was very helpful and took care of my mom really well. They were very knowledgeable about insurance and gave us an estimate which was very close to the actual amount. For some reason radiology centers are hard to find and should you require one you need to come here. The hospital and their affiliated locations OVERCHARGE you. Could not recommend this place enough. read more

Seems as no one wants to follow through with anything. My personal physician's office was getting frustrated because DMI kept saying they didn't receive a fax f my order, but reality was no one really looked. Then they got it, but said they couldn't read the writing and would call. Never called me, and then when I did they lied and said they did called me. They then said I didn't have the right insurance, which wasn't true and I told the original gal my insurance information (which was a month ago) shouldn't take multiple and multiple phone calls, plus a month to make an appointment for serious issues I need to have taken cared of. Very bad communication, follow-up, and taking responsibility for their actions. I called my doctor and had them change locations for my orders to go to. read more

First visit was okay and the Ultrasound Tech was great. Second visit was not so good due to the rushing by the Xray Tech while I put on a gown he kept knocking on the door to rush me and kept saying that he was ready about 2 minutes after telling me to take off my earrings, necklace, bra and shirt, not leave anything in the changing room and come out when you're done. I'm not ready yet or I'd be out already. How rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional. read more

Extremely disappointed with Dynamic Medical imaging, it's not just this place. They have 3 locations and only 1 of the 3 is open right now. At the Whittier location: Last Thursday I had my doctor order me a CT and I called right after I got out of my appointment. They didn't receive my order, maybe I called too early, so I EMAILED it to them but at least the lady that helped me was amazing. She tried her best to book me an appointment but the radiologist's schedule wasn't out. She is honestly the only reason I gave a star, if they even deserve any. I gave my number and was told I'd be called back. I thought they'd call me on Friday but no calls. So I called today, Monday, turns out the lady that helped me was filling in from elsewhere because they are severely UNDERSTAFFED and that they didn't have my info she left for them. So yet AGAIN, I had to EMAIL my doctor's order to them. They couldn't book me til next month, after my follow up appointment, that's how behind they are. I mean I understand that they are the only office open right now and that they are understaffed but what I was told next was unbelievably. And to top it off, THEIR FAX MACHINE HAS BEEN BEOKEN FOR MONTHS NOW!!!! How does a medical office function without a fax machine? How do you expect me to trust you, a medical company, with medical devices or my well being if you can't even handle a fax machine? I honestly tried to give this place a chance even though they have bad reviews because I go based of my experience but I didn't even get to have an appointment with all this chaos. Will be requesting WAVE IMAGING from now on. read more

I am sitting in the waiting room now. Just finished my xray and waiting for my film. I was a walk in referral from my Dr and showed up right when they opened at 8am. There were several others waiting for them to open the doors with me. After filing or my paperwork and providing my insurance card, I was called in... about 30 mins after opening/my arrival. (This is my mother Cris's review. I am posting this here because she doesn't have a Yelp account.) I used to be petrified of getting mammograms because of my last experience. As a result, I have been foolishly putting it off. But today on Feb. 26, for the sake of my family, I bit the bullet and went today and am glad I did! Went with my girlfriend to get her x rays done, and come to find out that the x ray techs have poor patient care. They didn't even shield her for her series like they are supposed to!!! Stay away from this imaging center. The tech is lucky he isn't going to be reported for poor patient care and neglect to protect. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. He asked her if she was pregnant 3 different times to make sure because he didn't shield. Once when she first got in, after she changed into a gown, and lastly before he shot the x rays. Just because you ask 3 different times doesn't make it ok to not give her lead. This just tells me you were too careless to practice patient protection. read more

Be aware! Double & Triple Check all requirements. Dynamic imaging in Anaheim(equipment not available) had to send us to the Whitter location. Two weeks ago prior to the appointment I had spoken with someone that was very kind but unfortunately failed to address the fasting part. I also got a reminder call the day before and no fasting was addressed . So what does that tell you........We check in early to the appointment and no one bothered to ask if mom was fasted. We sat there for about 20mins then they said SORRY CAN NOT DO THE MRI. So my 82-year-old mom had to be fasted for an MRI ! Have had 3 separate services at this facility recently. 2 ultrasounds and an MRI. Each time, the staff have been professional, helpful and have gone out of their way to make my experience pleasant.
