My husband and I both were sent to Shin for MRIs by our separate doctors. My husband for his spine…read moreand me for my shoulder. The front desk, although not overly personable, are friendly and efficient. We each checked in with ease on both of our visits. The lobby has a few chairs, however there is room for more and I suggest they add some additional chairs as during both visits patients were standing for part of their wait. Bathroom is clean, office is tidy. Wait times for each appointment were not bad at all. Scheduling our appointments was also within a reasonable time. Parking is marked on the street for Shin patients at no cost, which is nice because this area is really tough to find easy parking and what is easy to find will cost you. Only one of our visits were we able to take advantage of the reserved spots, but very nice that they have them available. Now to the MRI. My husband is very claustrophobic and told them both on the appointment setting and in the office prior to the MRI. We both felt that the techs could have been a bit more sensitive to that. He felt like he was barely on the table when they shoved him into the machine without saying a word or warning. He was not mentally prepared for this. My husband is definitely no wuss, trust me, he's a rugged man's man through and through, but his claustrophobia is straight up real. His 45 minute MRI was cut short to 10 minutes because the anxiety got too high for him. The anxiety is not the technicians' fault, but maybe had they been a bit more sensitive to his phobia and gently eased him in, it may not have been so bad. He did return a week later with some comforting valium and the awareness that he would be flung down the chamber like a dude at a water park. He successfully made it through that second test. Now he's prepared. During my MRI, I did notice that they get you done in a hurry. It did not bother me one bit as I have no claustrophobia at all. Paying attention to the swiftness of the loading into the machine, my husband was right, they get you in fast. My headphones weren't even on my ears yet and away I went into the canal. But, again, for me it was fine, just noticing it since my husband was so sensitive to it. All-in-all, Shin was a great place to have our MRIs done, the ease of appointment setting, the wait time, the efficiency, the parking. Great job with all of this!! Our only suggestion is that when you have someone with true claustrophobia, a little extra care, compassion, and preparedness would be nice. Great job Shin! Would have no problem returning... and honestly neither would my husband, he'll just need the valium and the self-given pep talk first.

Do not recommend being on the waitlist at this quest location. It says wait time can be 30-60…read moreminutes when you register; however, this is not the case here. I joined the waitlist at 8:47am with only 1 other person ahead of me on the waitlist. There were only a few people waiting so I believed that it would only be an hour wait. Especially because they were calling people back pretty quickly. I normally don't rate establishments low, but in this case there needs to be a change. Either don't accept walk ins or update your wait expectations to be more accurate so that people don't waste an hour or more waiting to never be called. Especially when they charge $8 for parking. Facility is nice, but not enough chairs. Staff was nice and friendly. They were fast and efficient. I ended up waiting almost 2 hours. Minus 1 star for setting unrealistic walk ins wait time expectations. Minus 1 star for charging $8 for parking Moral of the story is never go to quest without an appointment.

I wish to share a great experience I had with this Urgent Care faculty. I went in with a severe…read moresinus infection Saturday afternoon. The wait was not long. The waiting room looked like a typical waiting room area. Once called in and taken thru the doors...this place was amazing. It looked like an emergency room at any major hospital. All the rooms had beds. They have X-rays, CT scans and MRI machines. I saw NP Courtney Rompel. She was as thorough, skilled and experienced as any Internist I have seen. She was very proactive and was able to address all my medical needs. You are a rock star NP Rompel! I was so appreciative for her concern, care and bedside manner. She even noticed I had some wax build-up in my ear. I can't remember the last time my ENT looked in my ear. My ear was subsequently flushed by the great technician on duty assisting NP Rompel. Side Bar: A few days later I was having an issue with some antibiotics I got at CVS (on the same property). The medication was cracked and disintegrating. CVS refused to exchange the medication without a new prescription. I wish I was kidding but I am not. So back I go to the urgent care and they immediately contacted CVS for replacement medication, without hesitation. I was so grateful for for the treatment I received by NP Rompel, the responsiveness for the medication re-do request, and just in totality an overall fabulous experience. I am on the mend thanks to all the great staff at Continuem Urgent Care! With gratitude!

Then, was called by Fallon to complete m registration. Even though I have been in this building, I can't recall having an ultrasound done here prior. There is a lab area that shares the same lobby though. I must have gotten my lab drawn there before. Fallon (female) registration staff was very friendly, efficient and professional. I was able to get the registration part of the process completed quickly. Thank you for an efficient experience, Fallon. Cherry the ultrasound tech was efficient and friendly. In and out. I got my radiology results in my portal the same day!

Eight years ago had to brain aneurysm, and I had to come here once to get a CD. I remember it like…read morea far away dream. I didn't know if it was something that really happened because I did just have brain surgery . Today I'm back again to get a copy of my CT scan of my brain. Looks like I'll be having brain surgery again, so I need to show my Neurologist my last CT scan. I could've called and asked some questions. But instead I just showed up and was like help. Everybody directed me in the right way. It was painless. But I did have to go twice. Yesterday he found my information in minutes and let me know that I just had to pick up my CD tomorrow. This morning I went and just ran in and out. Thanks guys! I'm grateful to all the people that work in all the areas of this hospital that saved my life ! Keep up the good work guys.
