Wow! Dynamic Hobbies has the largest selection of plastic models, HO and Lionel O Gauge trains, gas powered planes and remote controlled toy cars, I have seen under one roof! And.... I haven't even gotten to their two huge train layouts. I started coming here a few weeks ago and met with Bob, one of the owners. Over forty years, I collected many HO model trains and buildings. Some were rare, but most were European and UK in variety. I was taken aback by his huge selection. I took lots of photos, so I'll let you decide if it's worth a trip to Hemet and the Inland Empire. For me, it was a rare find and I can see many hours of my retirement coming here. But there is no way you can come here and not leave with a little something special. Bob is a great guy and has the most beautiful cat. Five Stars.

I May be wrong but i believe this place is locally owned and operated. It's definitely been around FOREVER and has TONS of hobby shop supplies for the average RC snob, train connector, sky flyer, helicopter enthusiast, rock crawler, race car, etc. Dynamic Hobbies probably has the key to the doorway that you haven't been able to open, so give them a chance. They are literally right on the corner of Santa Fe and Florida. There are plenty of things to do for kids. Yes they can get expensive, but the cheaper stuff is cool too! I ordered some parts for my sons RC car about 4 months ago and we got side tracked and went in today to get them and they were still there, ready to go for us! Thanks guys!

Had a good time walking through the shop. In the back there is an o scale train layout with a few different trains on the track that one of the nice employees was able to run two of the trains around the layout. I was there in hopes of finding more o scale trains and scenery but unfortunately I got there too late because they had moved into selling HO and n scale. There's a nice selection of RC planes, cars and boats. I was able to pick up a plastic model that I'll get to enjoy this weekend. The people there are very friendly and knowledgeable. They do repair trains, but I'd call first to make sure if their person can repair your scaled train. To the gentleman who ran the trains. I truly appreciate it. I had a nice time watching those go around the layout and seeing the detail put into each of the buildings. Thank you again.

Totally worth the drive for me, and Bob has ordered things I've needed at those competitive prices I spoke of.

I recently moved back to Hemet to care for my folks, after being gone since the early 90's. Having…read morespent the previous nearly 2 decades in the Bay Area, I knew I wouldn't find the same number of coin shops in the area, but I remembered several and hoped I would still remember some folks I used to know. Sadly, upon moving back I discovered that every coin shop in the Hemet area had closed...except one...Main Street Coin & Jewelry. So in the car I went for my first visit. Walking in, I was delighted to meet with friendly faces and a warm atmosphere. For those who have spent much time in coin shops, you know that this is not always a forgone conclusion, sadly. Nonetheless, I was greeted with smiles and immediately entered in to conversation with the numismatist that lasted nearly an hour! Super nice guy, knowledgable, and seemed to genuinely enjoy swapping stories and getting to know a new client. Not only was he receptive to me, but we seemed to share similar interests in coins & bullion...which is always a BIG PLUS for an LCS. While I had not intended on buying something, after talking so long about coins, I now REALLY wanted some new stuff in my collection. As luck would have it, there was a huge bowl of 90% Constitutional coinage filled with everything from Barber Dimes, to Walking Liberties, all the way through the more standard 90% fare of Washington quarters and Roosevelt dimes, just waiting to be sifted through. I picked through and bundled up $5 in face value, which included a nice mix of Barbers, Walkers, Franklin halves, and Merc dimes. I was stoked to get it at 20x FV, and since I was paying in cash, there was no tax! I can easily say that Main Street Coin & Jewelry left me with a great feeling, and offered some good prices. The selection wasn't huge, but I understood that they were going through some changes and that they were looking to replenish a lot of stock in both silver & gold bullion, as well as various coinage during their remodeling. I should note that since it was my first visit, I brought one of the more unique items in my collection to see if they had any interest in buying, as well as selling. Sure enough...the numismatist was interested, so we settled on a price and made a deal on the spot! All in all, I'm really glad to have found Main Street Coin & Jewelry, and know that I will be both a return customer AND a regular customer! As a coin and bullion collector, there's nothing better than having a cool LCS within a handful of miles from my home. So thanks guys! I'll be back, and am excited for you to grow your coin side of the business. Cheers!

Personally I don't ship here on the regular, but their birthday party package is a chest code. As soon as we got there we were greeted and our coordinator informed us she would take care of everything. And guess what? She was amazing at it. The kids were entertained the entire time and they also took care of the pizza ordering and all. It's also not very expensive, it's actually very affordable considering the price of mind and ease this was ensuring my kid had a great birthday expressive. If your kid loves to craft, I highly suggest you consider this bday package. We will likely do this again.

Ok, so this is such a ridiculous thing to have to complain about but holy was this such a terrible…read moreshopping experience for me. I went in to buy some things for my kids birthday. Some supplies and saw some bluey head pieces and some fun plush toys for the kids. $5.99 on the shelf but their site showed them on sale for $4.99. I'm buying a few so that's a solid $10 I'd save. I ask the workers if they can price match their own site. They say no. So I say ok I'll just order online and pay less. Few extra steps but for $10 why not. Complete the order, show the worker my receipt that's literal photos of the 7-8 things I paid for that's literally in my hand at the check out. Ok sir, give those to us. It takes 30 to 45 minutes to process the order into store online for us to get it off the shelf. Well put it in a bag up front and you can grab them when you're done..... Uhhhh grab what. It's literally in my hand. You see with photos what I paid. Can I just leave?! No we need to wait until the order processes and so and so will get them off the shelf and process the order and you can take it there. Mind you they're making it sound like a 2-5 minute wait. 45 god dam minutes?! I paid for the items and have them in hand. What is the issue?! So they take the items and place it up front behind the register. Still in shock I ask what looks like the manager and 2 other workers. "So you're telling me you have to wait for the order to come through, just to take the items off the shelf that's right in that bag. You can't just put down on a sticky note to tell Shannon (made up name) not to fulfill order number 6892?!" And let me walk out with what I'm showing you proof I paid for?! I've worked retail. I understand online ordered and fulfillment. But some BASIC critical thinking. With proof of purchase and photos of the items purchased in the dam order invoice. But you have to simulate to the fullest extent getting it off the self?! She then explained "orders come online in order, so yours will have to wait to be pulled from the self after the others come in first" I literally look in my arms and tell her. "You mean the items in my hands?!" Mind you they're never once went to talk to the girl(s) they kept referring to that fulfill the online orders.... They just stuck with the this is how it's always done. And how we're going to do it. Again too much process thinking for them apparently... And it's not like 1 worker was overly busy. There was 5 employees for 1 open register and the rest standing waiting to help people self check out. Literally felt like I was dealing with a bot with a single line protocol who couldn't deviate and use their own logic to let me just walk out with the items paid for, in hand. With photos and an invoice. I was so annoyed I was seriously tempted to just be that petty and go back after being called 30 minutes later just to tell them to return it all. Maybe I'm crazy, but this interaction baffled me and was beyond 100000x more difficult than it ever needed to be. Again a single note or word of passing that order number 5792 was picked up already. Just mark and fulfilled in the system and move on.. I'm sorry but that was literally one of the lowest IQ worker interactions I've ever been through. And it wasn't just 1 or 2.... There was 4 employees involved in this interaction again all standing around the self check out. Doing busy work waiting to be needed for a self check out issue. And 1 who was working the actual register
