We came in today during our pawnshop hopping adventure. This is a great place to come for people looking for tools or movies. There is barely any jewelry here so for fancy ladies like me.... the tools were everything! The gentleman working was nice and assisted us with information. This is HANDS DOWN THE BEST PAWN SHOP AROUND. I've lived in the Hemet/San Jacinto area for over 13 years and once I decided to try out another Pawn shop within the area which I ended up regretting in the end. The gentleman at Cindy's Pawn ALWAYS treats their customers with respect and Empathy. It's like he understands that if you're there having to pawn or sell your personal things (which prob'ly have sentimental value as well) you're most likely having a hard time. Hours on the door says they're open till 6PM. I show up here at 3:55PM and it's locked. The guy that works here says oh we close at 4PM now. I drove over 30 mins to this location, they have the wrong posted hours on the door and I even arrived before their unannounced hours were over but they aren't sticking by that either. I even called 30 mins before coming here saying I'd come take a look at their items and they mentioned nothing about closing soon. A giant waste of time and gas for me. read more

I've gone here a few times over the course of 4 years. I tend to think of pawn shops as sketchy places, so I like that Cindy's is open (no cages and locks at the front door) and the staff is friendly. You bring your stuff and your ID. They quote a loan amount and give you a date to pay them back by. You leave with cash and a computerized receipt. As long as you bring your receipt and payment by the date on your receipt you're good to go. The only downside is that they are not open on weekends so plan accordingly. read more

Went on to Cindys Pawn today actually to purchase a pair of binoculars ...i thought why not have have him check out my ring while I was there and just see how much it was worth... He begins to look at it and he said that it's "gold plate" I replied no that's gold and platinum, he then weighs it and gives me a price of $30! We're talking about a ring with 3 diamonds weighing a total of 2 carats, nice and clean and Sparkly! What is he thinking!!!!??? I bought the ring at Weisfield jewelers it's not goldplated it's Gold and Platinum (he says he sees gold every day) so do Ion my fingers...and I was offered a lot more than that before Ive even pawned it before for over $250! And he wants to BUY it from me for $30! WHAT THE FUCK?!?!? No way! Don't go to Cindy's Pawn they rip you off... Just imagine if I hadn't known What I had!!!? read more

Rating -1. Please, Please consider all your options before pawning anything at this pawn shop. If you miss the 10 day grace period because of any emergency and cannot go in you will lose your pawns. When you go in on the very next day which is the 11th day you cannot purchase or see your items in store because on the 10th day the items were removed from building. So you do not have the option of buying back your items "AT ALL". The quality of merchandise for sale is horrible and the service, interior of building is in need of serious repair. Absolutely "NO" concern for the customer. This business is very close to Downtown Hemet yet Cindy's does not visibly give back to the community in quality of merchandise, variety or pricing. Make that drive to Moreno Valley,Perris or elsewhere but you're making a huge mistake doing business at Cindy's Pawn Shop. read more

The people at Cindy's Pawn were extremely nice and understanding. The gentlemen understood I needed groceries desperately and wouldn't be paid until Friday and so even bumped my pawn up an extra $15 to try to help out. I got my wedding rings back same way I left them and they had no trouble finding them. They were so kind and generous and my kids had food for the week. If I ever need to pawn again Cindy's will be the ONLY one I use. read more

I often enjoy pawn shops, but it would be a lie if anyone said they are pleasant places to be. Usually, you see a host of people who are mad trying to make a quick pawn for cash and a huge display of merchandise that is half broken, but priced at twice its value. NOT AT CINDY'S PAWN! I went in looking for a new bass, and I got the best experience I could hope for. Not only was their a wide selection, but they had no problem with me going behind the counter and playing each and everyone of them. Not only that, but they let me hook up to their huge amp selection too, just to let me find out what I liked best. As I sat their playing, I watched the staff deal with all the costumers with respect a care, even when some did not deserve it. This is a very professional establishment. Then when I find the bass right for me, they want to make me a deal! I was gonna buy it anyway, but NO! they want to make the experience better. Finally... AFTER I made my purchase, yes after the money was given to them, they still wanted to make my time their great. With my bass (which I got at a great price) they tossed in a case AND a strap, let me pick them out too. They were even willing to give me new strings, but I declined that offer. I'm not saying I had a great time at Cindy's Pawn, but I had a great time at Cindy's Pawn. I know where where I making all my future musical buys now. I am certainly going to be a fateful costumer for many years. read more

Needless to say, I'll never go back. Hemet is laced with many and very unscrupulous dealers, after going to about six dealers, there is no one to recommend. I have never written a review for anything before, but I was absolutely disgusted with this place's level of customer service and have to share!! 0 stars. Went in to look for a new/ used guitar. The man working told me they had hundreds of them in the back just lining the walls, and when I told him I had a couple hundred dollars to spend he laughed and sat back down with no intention of showing me any of them, and kept his sentences short and dull while staring at his computer screen. Then when a customer walked in who appeared to be someone he recognized, he jumped right up with a smile and started talking to him. Meanwhile, a second worker in the back sat on his butt behind a desk, playing his nice electric guitar... I left feeling very disrespected as a customer with business to bring to them. Especially after a long drive to Hemet after speaking with him on the phone about the guitars they had. With all the free time they seem to have on their hands there, I'd imagine they'd be excited to make some money. Or maybe clean up their shop and make it look a little more appealing to their customers. I will never return here and will tell everyone I know to stay away from Cindy's Pawn in any case. read more
