What a wonderful experience!!! My boyfriend and I were searching for air for the tire, when I spotted this amazing spot. I was drawn to try them because of the line they had. We decided to stop. Man! I'm so glad we did! Yes, the line takes a few minutes, but it's worth it. They an offer condiments and several beverages. The ambiance is outdoors friends next door that invited you over. Tortas and burritos are available as well. Made from a variety of meat options. There are tables to sit and eat. We didn't make it out the parking lot! My new home town favorite! We wanted more then and the next morning!

Stopped here for a burrito and some tacos. The service was fast and good. They had a wide variety of a menu display but only certain things were available to purchase. I ended up buying a carne asada burrito and 4 tacos of el pastor/ and asada. I paid and it was 28 bucks I was like ok... since no price on the menus. I got home and there were two burritos and 4 tacos, now the price made sense. The burritos has almost no rice and beans but has flavor in the meat. The tacos were good.

The food is amazing--flavorful, and consistently delicious every time. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable,

Muah! Best tacos in town I would have to say. Especially their taco Tuesday deal. You can't beat it.

getting caught by the health department 11 times and having your cooking equipment confiscated twice already isn't a very good look.

You're better off avoiding this place on Taco Tuesday because I've seen their lines 30-40 people deep.

Absolutely floored by this place--it's a hidden gem!…read more Seating inside is pretty limited, but they do have outdoor tables and chairs, which honestly adds to the vibe. Parking is street only, but trust me... it's 100% worth the hassle. From the moment we walked in, the experience was great. We were warmly greeted and given the option to get recommendations or browse the menu ourselves, which I appreciated. After taking our time, we ordered the chicken quesadilla, nacho fries, and a California burrito, along with salsa verde, chubbie salsa, and chipotle salsa. The food? Incredible. A solid 10/10. Everything was packed with flavor, the meat was juicy (not dry at all), and the salsas absolutely stole the show. On top of that, the staff really made the experience stand out. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Great food, great music (nothing but bangers the whole time), and amazing service. I'll definitely be back!

The place is pretty easy to find on the corner of 18th & R. There isn't a lot of seating for more than parties of 4. We were a party of 6 and we all smooshed into a horseshoe booth inside. There are only 2 of these booths available and they indicated they are not able to place additional seating at the booths. I imagine you might be able to put tables together outside for a larger party. We were greeted warmly, and while I felt overwhelmed by the amazing choices, the gal taking our order put me at ease by walking me through the menu board. We got amazing carnitas quesadillas and tacos and another dish that came on top of a mound of delicious fries. It's the kind of place where you order, then sit down and they bring you the food. We were well taken care of. Our drinks were refilled and they brought us 'to go' boxes. Their portions are generous and just tasty. And the iced tea was perfect! We ordered a full order of chips and salsa. That is extra. It was $6 for a full order ($5 for half) and these chips were well worth the cost. We will be back!

I don't live in the area. I live 3 hours away and I need to go and buy tacos to take home. I have not had any tacos at this price at this flavor in so long, the price, the flavor, no way any place can beat it. I hope Birria Bros is making so much money. I will be hitting their spot before I leave town, where I live, there is NOTHING that beats their flavor, thank you for a great dinner in a strange town. An edit: I actually went to the location the next day., I ate the most tasty quesatacos ever. Inhad a Mexican Coke that only cost $3.. the best hot salsa. The young man taking the orders was super friendly. I also went back AGAIN to order food to take home,. I live 3 hours away and I was not about to leave empty handed, the same young man helped me with my to go order and was so nice and helpful. We had a hard time finding it at first, but it's located in the parking lot of South Union Mini Mart. There's a lot of different taco trucks on Union, so make sure you don't pass this one up. Parking isn't really an issue, so don't worry about that. Staff is really nice. The first time we visited the young lady that took our order was very friendly and interactive. She had a nice warm personality so you feel welcomed when you visit. The owner, I didn't catch his name but he's literally cooking the food in the back. He's super friendly and also made us feel welcomed. Even though they are wayyyy out there on Union, they are the reason why people want to come back. Yes, food can be good at places, but if you have a good heart and personality then people can tell you're genuine. The first time we visited we were overwhelmed because we wanted to try EVERYTHING, I don't know what's my favorite item yet, but I'll let you guys know when I find out. Don't sleep on Taqueria El Jalisciense! I'm not a big fan of chicken tacos and I even loved those and I would get it again. Everything is so flavorful and you can tell he really thought about his menu. What I love is that he uses quality meats. Don't believe me? Definitely check out his instagram @jalisciense_torres don't blame me if you get hungry checking out his page haha. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. If you're around the area and don't mind driving out to Union then this is the place. Give them a chance. P.S. they only take cash or Zelle so be prepared and they open in the evenings at 4pm-10pm. You better go before people start hearing about this place and the lines get too long. :-)
