I will NEVER step foot in this salon again. Alyssa did my hair not happy at all. I decided to go with her because of all the reviews but I am not sure she really know how to do hair color on curly hair.. That was my first and last time ever getting my hair done by her. First of all it took her almost 7 hours to do highlights, color grey roots and put toner not to mention it wasn't cheap. It cost me $355 dollars to have my hair done what a rip off. I asked her to put a warm brown in my hair that should have lasted at least a month. within a week my highlights turned blond and my hair is brassy obviously the $ 40 dollars she charged for a deep condition didn't do a darn thing. Don't ever go this place it's a major rip off. Not mention she gave me one of the most worst haircuts I haven. I don't recommend going there. she colored my grey roots which also didn't last more then a week so now I'm on vacation with black hair with gold highlights instead warm brown and grey roots. read more

I was a walk-in and got a haircut with Christian right away. He did a very thorough job and gave me a great healthy long layered cut. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was a bit chaotic in there. A tad messy and not the best music vibe going on. I would definitely return for more. The ambience is fun and friendly and the staff is nothing short of talented and amazing. I get my hair done by Tricia and if there is anyone I could personally recommend you ask for, it's her! She listens to what you want and works with you to get the look that you want to achieve. The manager was super nice! I called in the morning and told her I needed to go to the DMV and that whenever I'd finish she'd make room for me! It's always spotless (very important to me when going for a hair cut), the service is fantastic (always offered coffee, water, tea, etc. when I enter), the staff is professional and kind. I have been going to Dylan Keith for about a year. My last visit, I had the privilege of an appointment with Kristin, the owner. She did an impeccable job on my hair. I'm getting married soon, so I wanted to make sure and work with someone that could help me prepare for my wedding. She's scheduled me in, and I have complete faith in her preparing me. To be honest, I have been battling a harsh illness now for years and just needed to feel good again. I have not had any style or color done to my hair in 6 years so I was anxious about it. Jimmy makes me feel like million bucks for a fraction of the cost every time I visit. What's impressive is that he can handle pretty much any head of hair, and I'm used to going to folks that "specialize" in wavy/thick hair or putting body in thin hair, etc...Frankly, Jimmy has cut/styled/colored the hair of so many people I know and I've always loved it. She really takes her time and focuses when she does my hair because normally I have her bleach my roots and dye it different colors. I never yelp but this was the worst hair cut of my life. The experience was so awful, I was on the brink of tears in the chair. My hair is uneven, chopped up and beyond short. I am not picky about my haircuts, but a week later and I can't even disguise the mess. Nikki straight razored my hair repeatedly insisting it would help. My hair now looks like something out of the 80's. Another stylist tried to salvage the cut, but there was nothing to do. Yes, it is a beautiful salon, but I was quite dissatisfied with my overall experience. I was a walk-in and upon arrival, I was told that I was going to have my hair service done by one stylist, however somehow, I ended up in Kristin's chair, the owner of the salon. After waiting a good amount of time and witnessing quite a bit of disorganization with the front desk since they did not have a set receptionist, I was finally called back to begin my service. There was quite a bit of chaos happening in the salon throughout my service including several small children rambunctiously running around and playing. Some of the children were Kristin's, but I did not think it was professional nor appropriate to have her children and their friends wildly parading through the salon while there were clients in their spending money to relax and have their services done. There were several times throughout my service that Kristin was interrupted by either her children or someone coming up to speak to her. This behavior really made me question the integrity of their services at the salon. The icing on the cake was when I went to pay, there was confusion about how much to charge me for the services that I had done. There was no menu or set pricing, so there was a lot of asking around to figure out the right price that I was to be charged. Again, extremely unprofessional and really just a hassle in general to have to wait while all of the ambiguous pricing was figured out. I'm not too sure that I will be returning to this salon, as I think that I can definitely find somewhere else in town that seems to exert more professionalism and quality toward their clients. Also, the utter chaos that I experienced just sitting in the chair having my hair done had quite frankly left me mentally exhausted as I left the salon. read more

I moved to Burbank in 2013. After going to the same hairdresser for 10 years I was nervous to go to a new salon. I read the Yelp reviews and chose to Dylan Keith Salon, even after ready several reviews that said, "run don't walk", kind of comments. I am a very happy, open minded person. I love to support young, new artists of every talent. I went in with the hopes that this convenient, nice, clean salon would become my new salon! I was let down big time. The young lady who did my hair, told me upon entering, that my hair was "awful". That is was dead. She recommended that I needed a moisture treatment but did not offer any helpful advice on where or how to do one. After explaining that I like to look very natural, no streaks or stripes -she proceeded to get to work. Not half way through I told her that my head was burning and that the product smelled really strong. She mentioned peroxide or something similar and I freaked out! I have only ever had color put into my hair, never stripped! She rinsed it out. When I went home I was horrified and afraid that I had just killed my hair. At work people commented on the strange stripes and lines! ...so I went back to see, if what I had paid for, could be fixed. She tried. It would work for a time but in NO WAY was I a happy camper. Last but not lease, during the hair cut, the hairdresser, talked about how skilled she was. I can say that I have never had such a bad experience and I hope that she does get skilled one day, for the sake of all her future clients. I made a special trip to see my last hairdresser in Colorado to fix my hair. She cut 10" off because we agreed it would help my hair health. It has been a year and my hair is finally coming back to life. read more
