I happened to find Ani a few years ago when I had a Groupon for A La Mode Hair Studio, and I've been going to her ever since. I'm proud of how far she has come, opening her own amazing salon. She is the real deal. I have never had a hair stylist who was so honest, skilled, and such a unique spirit. I originally went to Ani with straightened, fine brown hair in hopes of highlights and a better cut for my hair type. Upon her expert suggestions and great eye, she gradually got me to a highlighted golden blonde color without at all damaging my hair along the way. My hair has so much more curl and volume now as well. I have fully embraced the blonde and my curls and have never looked back. I'm usually lazy about booking appointments and was only seeing her every 2-3 months. By the time I would be in the styling chair my roots were all grown out and I was in a serious need of some assistance. In December I switched to her $44/month roots and toner membership and it's been great so far. No more embarrassing roots! iColorHair is in a great location, right across from the super delicious Porto's. I can't picture getting my hair colored or styled by anyone else but Ani. It was by chance that I got her as my hair stylist when I first came to her shop. She took very good care of me and made sure I looked good with the color that I wanted for my hair. I actually first showed her a picture of what I wanted and she made a few suggestions on my hair and even made it better than the picture I showed her! I also wanted her to do my updo since I totally trust her judgment. I had to re-schedule my appointment time for the same day a couple of times and she was so understanding and was willing to accommodate me for the time I was only able to come in.
