My favorite place to buy clothes for my SO. Nicest staff ever and they have great quality clothing and prices. Whenever I go in for one thing, I end up leaving with 5. 2 for 1 shirts? Stopped in today for a quick peek, was simply BLOWN AWAY by the great customer service and professionalism of Clara & Casey. For a Monday night, the store was really clean, fully stocked, great deals, and to say this is a store catering to big nen, these ladies not only knew the layout of the store, but also schooled this lame on certain fits of clothes. Wind up walking out of there spending more than I should with more items then I intended, and I AIN'T EVEN COMPLAINING. Most definitely will be back soon. P. S. Absolutely love this DXL since the renovation a few years ago! Spacious well organized store with many name brands like Ralph Lauren, Reebok, Levis & Nautica and many more other than my preference. They have outstanding service, and even offer in store tailoring. Big selection of Dress clothes as well. Comfortable dressing rooms and even a restroom! Knowledgeable staff can guide you through the store or order online for in-store or home delivery if they don't have your exact size. They also have a great loyalty/ reward program. Absolutely horrible, rude sales woman here. Went in to purchase a suit jacket for our upcoming wedding. The woman clearly did not want to help us. She rudely and condescendingly told us that there was not reason for us to be shopping there, as we could find what we needed at Macy's. When we told her we had forgotten the pants we were trying to match, she said that she really couldn't help us; rather than trying to DO HER JOB and UPSELL! Lost a great opportunity as we loved DXL from previous shopping experiences. But this one particular woman doesn't need to have a job there. Literally never been treated so rudely at ANY store I've ever shopped at. News flash, your job is to SELL clothes. It's alright though, there's many other stores that I'm sure actually WANT my business. Even Saks isn't so rude and snotty when you walk in the door. Awesome store!!! I'm not an especially XL person. I mean, I'm larger than average, but my real problem is abnormally large thighs. So I walk in and am immediately greeted by a saleswoman, and she, in much nicer words, asks why I am in the store (ie, what's different about me to make me come to this specialty place). So I tell her I have huge thighs, and she immediately says I want a certain brand, and she has these styles in these colors and these materials. So we got a couple sizes to try on, and got what I needed. I also ended up buying a shirt and blazer. Those, along with 2 pair of slacks, ran me about $300. I though it was a pretty solid deal for what I got. Highly recommend this place if you have an abnormal body shape. read more

DXL totally deserves a 5 star ranking. I went to get a few shirts for my dad for Christmas. Knowing nothing and a little nervous when I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a friendly worker who pointed me in the right direction. They had some decent sales on. The store is perfectly organized and well set up. They have a nice selection of different types and colors but not an overwhelming amount. I was checked in once more by an associate. The cashier was also very nice and I forgot my coupon at home and she accepted a photo of it. The clothes themselves are a true big and tall cut and my dad loves them! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this store. As a very large man I despaired of finding stylish clothes by current designers in quality fabrics. These folks have it all...name brands like Ralph Lauren, Tommy Bahamas and Nautica. They have everything from casual to dressy, from head to toe, literally. The prices are department store comparable and they stock a very wide selection. The amazing staff is friendly, knowledgable and effecient, nice people too. I shop at this store regularly and I am always very happy with the clothes and the service. My brother is in town for my mother's funeral, and I sent him over there to get a dress shirt for the service. He doesn't have a lot of money so I told him to be sure and check out the clearance room at the store. This is a small room off of the main sales floor that is usually packed with shirts and pants that are on sale. Well, the sales woman that helped him did not mention this room or even disclose its existence even when my brother specifically asked if there were any items on clearance. This makes me very angry as not everyone has $60 to put down on a dress shirt. I can appreciate the desire to make a sale, but selling a clearance item is better than selling nothing at all. read more
