I was warmly welcomed and completely taken care of from the moment I walked in the store. I had a large order since my oldest is starting high school in the fall and they not only fulfilled the entire order immediately, but had all of the monogrammed items completed within an hour. I will never go back to any other uniform store and I am so grateful for all of the time spent making sure I had everything I needed. Will recommend 100% to anyone and everyone needing uniforms for school.

My daughter was in need of new uniform blouses, and I was looking for a place close while we were…read moretooling around Metairie. When I googled "uniform stores near me", Schumacher's appeared. I've always used another uniform company, as it's the only one that I thought carried my daughter's uniforms. Well, I was wrong. We were about a block from Schumacher's, so we drove right over. We were able to park right in front of the building, and upon entering we were helped right away. There weren't many folks there, so we didn't have to wait. A very sweet employee asked what we needed, retrieved the blouses, and we were checked out and on our way. It literally took about 10 minutes. The store itself is dated and feels a little dingy inside, but the employees were all helpful and efficient, and they actually carry my daughter's uniforms. They're much closer to our home than the shop I've been using for years, so for convenience sake, I'll probably return to Schumacher's in the future for uniform needs. A truly great find.

Each time I visited, I found that no one seemed to know what was going on with my order. I was…read moregiven different answers by different employees, no one could provide me with a reliable estimated completion date, and no one had clear information about the status of my order. Rather than receiving help in the store, I was repeatedly told to call the customer service number at 1-866-665-2864, even though I was standing in the store asking for assistance. I also have concerns regarding the processing fee charged for debit card transactions. My understanding is that, effective August 1, 2026, Louisiana law (Act 751, La. R.S. 51:3081) prohibits retail businesses from charging customers a surcharge for paying with a debit card. Despite this, your store was charging a debit card processing fee. Because of this, I chose to pay with cash instead. Unfortunately, paying with cash created additional inconvenience because I had to repeatedly bring my receipt back to the store, only to leave each time without any resolution or meaningful update regarding my order. Overall, my experience has been disappointing due to the lack of organization, poor communication, inconsistent information, and inability to provide customers with accurate updates about their orders. Customers should not have to make multiple trips, receive conflicting information, or be redirected to a customer service phone number because the store is unable to provide basic information about an order.

I waited around for almost 2 weeks and had never heard anything back from your business, so I eventually called to see what was going on and was told that they do not have the shirts. This has made me feel like I have been robbed, and I work really hard to support my family, and every dollar counts.
