I first went to the website and skimmed through the dresses and found plenty of dresses i liked in my price range. I made an appointment online and it was confirmed immediatly via my email and then they called within hours to confirm on the phone. I was helped as soon as i walked in and given a consultant. My consultant was Kalista (sp?) and she was awesome. She wasnt overbearing or pushy and really tried to find things to fit my style i was going for. It took about 10-15 dresses and there were a few i liked but then she came back with a dress that was apparently new to the store and it was PERFECT! I knew it was the one as soon as i saw it on! Most of the dresses i tried were not in my size (2) so i was having to try them on in mostly 6-8's. This one DID come in a 2 so i got to get it and take it home! I am not a froo froo'ey kind of girl and i was terrified this was going to be a horrible experience. It went so smoothe i was actually having fun trying on all these dresses even though some werent what i was looking for. So i had a great experience!

From the minute we walked in the door, some store associates were standing at the door looking at us strangely and it seemed like they were laughing when we walked in. Whether they were laughing at us or not, it was an uncomfortable way to walk in. Then when my mother and I wanted to walk around the store to take a look at some dresses, we were approached immediately and told we needed to go sit down. Maybe the process has changed from the last time I went in there, I'm not sure. It was definitely an unwelcoming experience. People were so rude for no reason. Made it a very awkward appointment for all of us. Overall, we will NOT be buying a dress from this place. Though we saw some beautiful dresses, I don't have any photos to add as I wasn't sure if we were allowed to take any and already felt like I was in timeout and didn't want to bother asking.

I was there with my 17 month old baby and I was pushing her in a cart and there was a man standing by the door watching me thinking I came to steal. He was Asian of course. It's like all Asian people assume all black people steal which is terrible. I came in looking for a couple items, braiding hair and a certain type of lip gloss . Since he was just standing at the door watching my every move I decided to ask him to order some more of the lip gloss because they don't have any in store. I had to go out to my car to get my old lip gloss to show him what it looks like. When I was walking out to get it he thought I was leaving but I told him I was not leaving and I was coming back. When I came back since he was standing by the door I gave him the lipgloss and asked if he could order more. I only did that to put him to work since his only job is to watch me to see if I am going to steal. Stop racially profiling us as black shoppers and watch everyone. Any color or race can steal. Your store can be racist and it is not good for business. One day someone someone will end up suing your store for racial discrimination. Be careful. Again I did not have a purse on me and I had a little wallet and my baby daughter with me that's it. I came to buy braiding hair and because I was waiting for the Braider to confirm it the hair I bought was the correct hair that is when the people in the store decided to follow me or watch me. That was very uncomfortable and had a terrible experience in your store today. I wish you would stop looking at skin color and treat or human beings equally. I hope you do better.
