I was hoping someone would forward this email to a manager. I went into the North Park Dallas Oakley store a couple week before Father's Day to get a gift for my husband. He's been raving about a cycling helmet Oakley made. I told the gentlemen who helped me that my husband does a lot of triathlons and wanted the matte black helmet for cycling. He brought me a helmet that was matte black and looked really cool! I know nothing about helmets or cycling. The sales guy told me there was a promotion going on, buy one regular price item get another half off. So I figured I was already a spending $200+ on a helmet, I'll get my husband a pair of cool Oakley flip flops (originally $45, I paid $22) I left The store satisfied. Father's Day came and I was so excited to give my husband is gift! sadly, after he opened it he told me it was a snowboarding helmet. I was embarrassed but not a big deal, we can exchange it. So we went back into the north park Dallas store and the gentleman wasn't working that day but I spoke with the manager who apologized and started to do the refund. unfortunately the store does not carry the helmet my husband really wanted that he saw on your website. She didn't offer to order it so I figured we would just do that at home. I saw the refund amount before I inserted my debit card and it was $180 instead of $200+. I asked why the price was different and she said bc I purchased The Oakley shoes for half off when I bought The helmet, now that I was returning the helmet I would have to pay full price for the shoes. I explained that it was not my fault I was sold a snowboarding helmet. It's not like I purchased A bike helmet and he just didn't like it. Bc in that case I would understand but It's not even a helmet he can use! She said "it's not my fault either, I did not sell you the helmet" I asked If I could speak to a manager, she said "I am the manager" so I told My husband to take the shoes off (he was wearing the shoes) and we would return those also, he could grab some flip flops from somewhere. I didnt care bc I was very irritated with her attitude and shocked she was the manager. She then said "I'll just do it!" Very irritates and frustrated with me. I felt extremely uncomfortable. Very very disappointed in the service! We've never had an experience with Oakley before. We have purchased a number of sunglasses a cycling attire. We would never return to this store. I'm not even sure where another Oakley store is but I will find it bc I will not go back to north park. I'm not a complainer and I dont do "Yelp" or bad reviews... but I really felt like I should share this with someone who cares about the brand.
Also on top of that I've sent Oakley a number of emails and they just don't respond read more
