It's actually 4.5 stars. Mike and Dom did the work in my home by repairing the gas leaks I had. Leaks were located using an upper end sniffer device and the job scheduled. In addition to the great work done, Dwyer Services was the lowest price for my job out of 4 quotes I had gotten. These guys work quick but make sure the job gets done right. I am also interested in the maintenance plans they offer and will seriously consider enrolling once my plan with Gold Medal expires. BTW, the highest quote I had gotten was with Gold Medal. The customer service at this company is horrible. They damaged my driveway and Andrew the manager gave me the run around for months. I sent emails and left messages as instructed and they just don't care about damaging peoples property. Andrew was very dishonest regarding a mistake the made and didn't try and remedy the situation. First and foremost, this business is not a family owned company. It was sold years ago although they still present that way. Second, you might as well call AJ Perry for your plumbing needs because they are the same thing. Poor quality work, nickel and dime you for every single thing even to repair work that they did wrong the first time and their salesmen are dishonest. They will attempt to sell you the lowest grade materials for premium prices and generally are an extremely untrustworthy company. I made the mistake of using them to replace my HVAC system, and I have regretted every single moment of it since. Even some of their own technicians have expressed to me their intention to quit the company as soon as possible due to their practices. I have had this company since buying my home 5 years ago. They provide great service for both my heating and air conditioning systems. The techs that come are always polite, knowledgeable and professional. They give me an honest assessment of my HVAC and options on things I might want to consider. I bought a 5 year plan with them and they come out to check my heating, AC, plumbing and electrical every year. For me, it was a great value. Being a member also gives me priority service should anything go wrong and a discount on any additional services I get. They are easy to schedule and always come at the time I selected. I contacted a company rep. and I told the man that I had a clogged or frozen sink drain and an upstairs toilet that wouldn't refill the tank. He said a Dwyer tech would come by between 12-4:00. Arrived on time but was useless. Wouldn't attempt to free the clog because he felt it was weather related. Didn't do anything but crawl through eaves and said to put a space heater in there with all the wood studs , rafters and insulation ... Fire hazard????? Wasted $84.23 on this . He also did not have a device to clamp on the pipe to warm it up. I did it myself with a hairdryer. read more

Dwyer Services are a SCAM artists that is looking to take your money and care less about services. The cheated me out of $400 dollars last fall when I had a leaking system. I paid the service man at the site, but I was called by the office saying that their bank couldn't read the check and need another $400 to make up the difference. I gave them the $400 but the check returned from the bank with the correct amount. This spring I called for spring service on my Air Conditioning and they said they would put me on the schedule for July. What? I need my air conditioning long before July. But they don't care. Gave me a comment, "is your air conditioning not working." Which told me that they don't understand the industry that they are in. The service is to make sure that the Air Conditioning is working before you need it, not after you need it. read more

I wish I was told that ahead of time plus I was told they were to come between eight and 12. I regrettably signed up for a three year service contract with this "company". Scheduled an inspection appointment which they canceled within 60 minutes of their arrival time via a text message. The message said I needed to call the office to reschedule! How ridicules is that! I waited a week to see if they would call back to reschedule. I suspect since this was not a billable call they had no interest in performing the CONTRACTED WORK. I called and rescheduled the inspection for today (12/4/25) which had a windows of 12pm - 4PM. Got a call for Kelly (very nice) at 11:45Am saying the technician was one stop away. Got a call from Jason the technician said he was on his way and is 13 minute away. Never showed. Got text at 1:14PM that Jake was in route. Never showed. Got text at 2:26PM that Kamil was in route. Just called to cancel my contract. Do not enter into a contract with this organization. I had installed Hot water with them for $12,000 got approved with green project and they got the check for $12,000 within one month. 6 months later they call and tell we owe additional $200, I am like what and the unit is not working and they will not come and fix and it is under warranty. The office staff is unprofessional. I gave them business for $25,000 and will not pay $200. The sales team will sell to get the business but they management will be not aligned. The sales team tell you one thing, the office staff second that the technicians who come and install completely different story. Without hot water 3 days and they will not come and fix. I called Dwyer to repair a toilet that was continuously filling. There was a leaky gasket and I didn't have time to change it. When the technician arrived he first tried to sell me a new toilet. I was a bit surprised as mine was 5 years old. He then tried to sell me a service plan. Once I declined all of the offers he told me the repair would be 499.00. I declined the service as I knew the part was $20.00 and the repair would take about 30mins. I'm not sure how a 499.00 charge for a 20 part and 30 minutes of labor falls under the fair prices that is advertised on their website I ended up paying the 79 visit and did the repair myself. 20 part from Fergusons and it took me 40 mins read more

I had been using Dwyer services for years and am so disappointed on how I have been treated. This company is extremely money hungry! They send techs out to service my boiler and I paid thousands of $ to have repaired and all they did was push me to buy a new boiler that i could not afford. Quoted me a price of over 9k and since I could not afford dropped me from servicing my boiler anymore. BEWARE OF DWYER THEY ARE A RIP OFF ! read more

These guys had a good reputation but something has changed. We had problems from one end of the job to the other. There were issues with the quote (it was incomplete and would have required more payment to finish the job). The owner had to come out to smooth things over and we found him credible so we went forward. Nothing changed though. The office tried pushed the project so fast that it actually seemed to mess themselves up. They needed to send contractors out for 'second looks' who expressed bafflement at why they were there. The install was the only smooth day. Now it's been over a month and we haven't heard about permit follow-up. We have a question about something that might be an issue with the unit and as usual, the office is all over the place. First no reply. Then after second request a "we'll come out and check it out" followed an hour later by "the head installer says it's the vents and he'll call you tomorrow between 9 and 11". Somehow he knows this without coming out. And it's 11 and no call. It's like dealing with a company run by cats - there all over the pace to the point where they are their own worst enemy. I would not recommend them. They might be good technicians but the entire group is so disorganized that it isn't worth the headache. read more

Great service. Dwyer came out to repair a furnace in the coldest part of the winter in 2017. They had the part ordered and installed within two days, so it was not as much of an chilly inconvenience as it could have been. More recently( June, 2019) our ductless mini split heat and a/c unit stopped working. Anthony diagnosed the problem quickly and ordered parts. His installation was just 2 hours and the unit works like new. The only reason I did not give this business five stars is that I think the cost for diagnosis is a bit high, and unlike other service providers I have used, they do not put the cost of your diagnostic visit toward service. It only cost about $160 in labor when they actually installed the parts ($90 per hour for labor) but it was almost that same amount for the 10 minute visit just to diagnose the problem. I found it strange. In spite of this, I will continue to use Dwyer for all of our heating and air conditioning needs. read more

Eric explained everything in detail and never tired of my endless questions! The techs Joe and Joe were competent, professional and very neat! They even went the extra mile and switched out some hard to reach light bulbs for me! This was a big expensive job and Dwyer's pricing was very competitive. I was hearing a noise when my HVAC system would come on. The HVAC technician told me that my house was collapsing. He talked to me for the full hour explaining that he went to school for architectural science and that I have a major issue going on. He charged me for the hour even though it took him 5 minutes to tell me that nothing was wrong with the HVAC. Needless to say I was very concerned about my house collapsing. I took off of work and had a home inspector come over. The home inspector could not believe what I was telling him and discovered that the sound I was hearing was the sound of the wood shifting when the temperature changes from the heat going up or down a few degrees. This was over a year ago. I wanted to complain sooner but I did not. My house has not collapsed because there is nothing wrong with my house. The HVAC technicians should stick to HVAC. read more

Great company run by great people. They came really quickly when I had a problem with my old furnace. The problem was diagnosed and we decided to install a new furnace the next day. About a year and a half later a part started going bad a was working intermittently. Jeremy one of their techs came over right away diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. They also offered to bring by space heaters for us if we needed them. Luckily we didn't. Based on my experience I would say Ed the owner and his employees are committed to putting customers first. I first used this service when I had a problem with my furnace. Three years ago. They had the best technician whom you trusted and believed.. I would have recommended That service to anybody friends or family. I actually got contracts for them to service my air in the summer my furnace in the winter I paid for this service for 3 years including year 2020. Well when I called to make an appointment way back in June they said because of Covid they're so far behind. No offense I am a front line worker I worked every day with sick patients. You work in peoples basements. Here it is in June we couldn't figure that out a way to honor those contracts? You are outside working ion the air-conditioning unit. I paid for the service. They seem to be skipping out on everybody who paid for the service as far as I'm concerned. I paid for an air and heat maintenance in January for services in June and November. My advice don't ever buy a contract with them. One main issue is of all the technicians that were trustful are no longer employees. Who treats paid customers like that? A company you do not want to hire that's who. What happen to the owners maybe you need to help. One lost and it happy customer. read more
