My air conditioner was not blowing as cold as it used to. I saw the truck at my neighbors house and called the number on the side of the truck. They sent the Julian the mechanic straight to my house. He fixed the unit quickly while playing with my dog lol. We're back to freezing again !! I will use them in the future for normal maintenance. Great company. read more

These guys are tremendous. We have an old Victorian home built in 1904 and we wanted Central AC. We called three contractors who each did the site survey, explained how difficult the job would be and ran for the hills. We then looked on the Mitsubishi site for Diamond Dealers and found ITAK and a couple of others. We compared the proposals and went with ITAK; they designed a hybrid system to save floor space in the attic and headroom in the basement. Living in a 100 year old home is challenging, especially when there have been additions to the house and subsequent additions to the ductwork which hung about 4-5' off the ground in many areas. Suffice it to say that the multiple head traumas I endured have been a routine part of trying to move about my basement which is barely 6' high. Recently the HVAC has been getting problematic and we were advised to consider replacing the 17 year old unit. Paul gave me multiple estimates and options. During one of his site visits, we discussed re-routing the ductwork. I was overjoyed at the prospect of moving in my basement without doing the limbo. Paul gave me a fair estimate for the furnace and the ductwork, and we scheduled the installation. The crew was very polite, punctual and neat. I decided it was time to replace my aging heating and air conditioning system. There was no urgency so I had the time to research the many companies offering this service. ITAK stood out primarily because of the many excellent reviews online. They also are Carrier dealers...equipment my research showed was the best for me. From my first contact calling the office, Michelle and Chrissy were friendly and professional. First impressions are important. Larry came to my home and did an inspection of my old system and discussed different choices and equipment. He was experienced, knowledgeable and personable and he took the time to answer all of my questions. He gave excellent advice and explained my options. I then received an email with three separate offers allowing me the time to do further research and ultimately make the choice that was best for me. No pressure! On installation day...the crew, headed by Wayne showed up right on time. Chris walked me through the process and explained how they would do the work. Brad, Matt and Ray arrived with the new equipment and began working. All of them were friendly, professional and respected my property. They carefully removed the old system, and the hot water heater, and then cleaned the entire area. Then they installed the new equipment. They took the time to explain how everything worked and gave me tips to get the most out of my new heater, air conditioner and water heater. The thermostats were installed and Chris showed me how they worked. When they left, they took all the old equipment with them...and cleaned the area completely. My township inspectors even complimented the installation. The system has been working perfectly and I'm very satisfied. What a terrific team at ITAK! This was my third interaction with them, and every one has been highly professional and effective. I called this time for a repair to my (relatively young 7 yr old) Carrier furnace, installed previously by a different firm (Brown's), whom I no longer trust. Kelly at ITAK efficiently took my info, and managed to schedule a same-day service call for me. As she described, I later received a text message indicating that the Tech was on his way. Sure enough, shortly thereafter, Julian pulled up and introduced himself. He was very polite, respectful, well-spoken, and knowledgeable. Within 2 minutes, he figured out why my furnace wasn't firing up. (The prior tech from Brown's had disconnected an electrical connection... yet another log on my fire for them.) He not only replaced it, but also improved it with a shorter wire and tighter connector. He then suggested, and I agreed, to do a complete seasonal check-up, and found no further trouble... all at a very fair and reasonable rate. Having just moved to the area we were looking to have our cooling units serviced and most recently had issue with our heat. ITAK is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and fair. Called to repair ac and after three different visits, paying $709 and being guaranteed me on each visits my central ac was fixed, my ac did not Work after 24 hours. When owner came to my house for the final time yesterday he told my I needed to change interior coil (retail cost of part is $229 and installation cost from 3 different HVAC contractors quoted $175-$195 to install) OWNER QUOTED ME $2,650 to buy and replace coil. This man should be put out of business for scamming people. If anyone has had a similar experience contact NEW JERSEY ATTORNEY GENERAL AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS OF NEW JERSEY TO FILE COMPLAINT. They have many complaints against them with the state for consumer fraud violations and are being investigated .. stay away read more

When your a home owner anything you want to do for upgrades and what have you, you obviously want the best at the best price. So you shop around and get estimates. My wife and I bought our home with no central air. So I got four estimates, ITAK being the last one. Paul, the owner of ITAK, came to my home for the estimate. I said would you like to see what the others said? Paul said " I'm not here to sell you anything, I'm here to tell you what you need to cool your home properly and efficiently." I was basically sold after that but was even more sold after the estimate was sent to me. Absolutely the best price and then some. I'm a review guy, it's no wonder why ITAK has five star reviews and it's all of them. I contacted Itak to look at the heating needs of small house I just bought. I received a call from the owner or a technician prior to setting up an appointment. The person I spoke with seemed very knowledgeable and when I explained the situation (limited funds, no working heat or air), I was treated to (what I felt like) was a very honest appraisal of the facts of life. No hard sell, no games. I was told that unless I had a HVAC family member willing to work weekends, it would cost more than I have to spend. He mentioned some NJ State energy programs that might work for me with a no interest loan. The fact that they called me back, with an honest assessment, spoke to me at length, encouraged me to look at a State program (which they do not participate in) as an option was very much appreciated. Very disappointed. ITAK installed our heating system many years ago. I called yesterday and left a message that we have been without heat since a power outage last week; they did not call back. I called this morning, and they said they could not get to me for a COUPLE WEEKS. I reiterated that we have NO HEAT, but she said they were booked solid and I should try someone else. In late August I had ITAK install two HVAC Central units. Several companies presented their proposals and ITAK was my clear choice. Paul Mitchell was the first point of contact. In his visit he did a heat load test to determine the requirements of the replacement units. Only one of my two units was down and we discussed the pros and cons of replacing one unit. We also discussed all the types of units available and the pros and cons of each. He left me reading materials and the offer to call him with any questions. After my study of the materials and of other available data I decided on ITAK and Paul's recommendation. The crew of five took out and installed my new units in one day. They were meticulous in their work. Paul was also on the job just making sure everything goes well. After the installation I was taught how to use the digital thermostat and the WIFI interface. The system works wonderfully and our home has never been as comfortable. The home office personnel were also professional, as appointment times were confirmed, on the way calls etc...
