After searching for months, my husband finally found the exact used truck he was looking for. BJ and his team @ DeLong were great to work with. Patient with us for needing later appointments (we live about an 1 1/2 hours away). The day we came to pick up the truck, it was as simple as signing our name to the paperwork and we were on our way. Highly recommend DeLong! read more

Unfortunately, my experience here was deeply disappointing and, in my view, very concerning -- especially for women. Based on how I was treated, I would strongly caution other women to bring someone with them, as I did not feel taken seriously despite being the buyer. While things started out friendly during the sale, the tone shifted drastically once the purchase was complete. I encountered what felt like arrogance, evasiveness, and a lack of accountability when I needed help after the sale. My questions were ignored, even when I followed up multiple times, yet I continued receiving promotional emails urging me to return. I also had a disturbing interaction where an employee called me unexpectedly and made false accusations that were not only unfounded but easily disproven. It was aggressive and completely inappropriate -- and I was forced to consider legal action if it continued. I regret completing my purchase here and truly wish I had gone to a different dealership for the same vehicle. I found another nearby location that has been much more helpful and professional, even though I didn't buy the car from them. This dealership's customer service appears to end the moment they have your signature. It was a complete shift -- overnight -- and unfortunately, their focus seemed to be entirely on the sale rather than any real commitment to customer satisfaction or follow-up. I have a strong credit profile and substantial car-buying experience, and I can confidently say this was the most disappointing dealership interaction I've ever had. If you value respectful, honest service -- especially as a woman -- I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are other Ford dealers in the area that are far more professional and worthy of your business. read more

Dwight Ford - Auto - Car Dealers Near Me - Dwight, Illinois

I absolutely love my new (to me) Ford Bronco that I purchased from Dwight Ford. The process was stress free and everyone we spoke to was welcoming and friendly. Brandon, our salesperson was great to work with. He went over every detail and answered every question. Zach in finance also made the experience easy. He also explained every detail and was very knowledgeable as he owns a similar Bronco. Both repeatedly said not to hesitate to call or text with any questions we may have in the future. Also, the vehicle detailing looked amazing! Thank you to all involved in helping me get into my perfect vehicle. Our dog was also invited into the showroom to hang out while we went over paperwork. Highly recommend Dwight Ford if you are in the market for a vehicle. read more

Recently bought a Lightning Flash from Dwight Ford. I drove all the way from NW Suburbs and I couldn't be happier. Brandon, Jason, & Zach made the process smooth, fast, and transparent. Jason provided fast and accurate pricing via text which was very convenient. Brandon took a lot of time to go through the truck and support the process even after I took delivery - the truck was missing an adapter and he made sure that it was shipped directly to my house, communicating every step of the way. Zach was very fast preparing the documentation and did not pressure any extras - he offered all of the extra warranties, but did not make me feel awkward with a "hard sell" - he accepted my decision immediately, which was very refreshing. I spent a lot of time shopping around for this vehicle, and I highly recommend this dealership. They might be a "small town Ford dealer" (their words), but they certainly deliver high end service. read more

We have been dealing with Dwight Ford, previously Delong Ford, since 2012 and have been very pleased with our vehicle purchases and service. WOODY sales and Joe in service have been very easy to work with. read more

I had an awesome experience with Delong Ford! I purchased a vehicle out of state, and it was my first vehicle purchase so I was pretty new to the whole process. I was aided by Doug Scribner, awesome guy! He helped me through the entire process, gave me tips as to what to do and how to go about registering and handling certain tasks outside of purchasing the vehicle. When in the market to purchase another vehicle, I will certainly return to Delong! read more

BJ went above and beyond to get the Food Exporter I wanted. It only took a week to get the exact vehicle! I got top dollar for my trade and the customer service is excellent! I highly recommend Delong Ford and ask for BJ! read more

I use to believe that "buying a car" and having an "amazing experience" were statements that would never go together! Over the years I have visited many dealerships but my interaction with DeLong was truly amazing. I had contacted the dealership about a 2008 Jeep Wrangler they had advertised ion the internet. They promptly returned my e-mail as well as gave me a call as I had requested. They were knowledgeable about the vehicle and when I asked very pointed questions (Jeep hinges are known to bubble and rust) they walked out to the vehicle to check. The indicated that all of their used vehicles come with a new set of tires. I was skeptical of this until they told me I could pick the brand and style. Ironically the recommendation they made was a better quality, and higher price tire, than what I had selected. We negotiated a price for the truck over the phone and struck a deal. I was traveling and was not able to get down to Dwight for a week, They never asked for a deposit or pressured me to come in sooner. I also called back to inquire about a trade that I did not initially brought up. I had a 2010 Kia which they were not familiar with, but they investigated an quickly got back to me with a very fair offer (note: two other dealers had offered me considerably less). When I arrived they handed me the keys and allowed me to take the vehicle for a test drive alone, which is truly unusual! The vehicle was exactly as represented but I noticed that the back seat cover had a hole. Without prodding they contacted a local jeep dealer to investigate the cost of a new cover and pad. They agreed to cover the cost as well as install it for me. We noticed that the design of the center section of the back seat was flawed and that was the reason it appeared depressed. They offered to fabricate a bracket to better support the seat which was done before I left that day. I had been looking for a used Jeep for several months. The deal I got was unparalleled. The new tires were a great add ($800 value). The new back seat cushion and cover ($350 value) made the truck perfect. And the fact that they custom manufactured a bracket in their machine shop - priceless! I was truly amazed by my experience and would not hesitate to do business with them again. In fact I have told this story and recommended them to over a dozen friends. DeLong Ford is truly a small town family business that lets you know your appreciated. read more

Doesn't even deserve apart of a star. My grandson bought a heavy duty ford diesel pickup. A few days later one of the front wheels fell off while driving, the other front wheel is leaning inward. The truck leaked fluids from every where underneath. We took the truck to Coffmans in Montgomery and they said so much was wrong that they wouldn't touch it. We took it to Universal Diesel Works in Montgomery and he said in was in such bad shape that it would cost over $10,000.00 to fix the truck. The front needed over $3,500.00 to make the truck safe to drive and that the ejectors were leaking fuel in to the oil and it would cost over $6500.00 to fix that. After we took the truck to Coffman's we contacted the dealer and they wouldn't do anything. The owner is so low that he wouldn't take a call or return a call. They saw my grandson coming and took full advantage of him. We have filed a complaint with the Secretary of State and now giving the truck back to the finance company. I highly recommend not trusting or doing business with a dealer like this. read more

Professional, friendly small town dealer...been around a long time, but truly a 21st century Ford dealer. Great buying experience...

I bought my very first truck through Woody today and I was worried I wasn't going to be able to find financing because it was my first loan and lacking credit. Woody first found one at 14% but he knew that was too high and searched for over a hour, making phone calls to get me the best rate at 6.2%. Other finance guys would have quit and gave me a loan at 14% but Woody went above and beyond his finance duty to make sure I was taken care of. There was a minor leak from the passenger pillar, they identified it was from the Sirius radio antenna and fixed it on the spot and I was very satisfied with the outcome. The team at DeLong Ford are honest, fair guys who will give you the best deal possible I world recommend them to my friends and family. I will be returning to this dealership. read more

This place sucks! My car has been in this shop 3 times since the beginning of summer. Just this week, my check engine light went off and it turns out I was in need of a tune up. How is it that they never checked??!! They never seem to fix any of the problems my car presented. It always led to another stint and more money. I would avoid, if possible! read more

I was on the highway in the evening and my car went into "limp mode". I was able to limp it to Delong Ford. They quickly and efficiently diagnose the issue and repaired it ASAP. The customer service and timely response was extremely professional and helpful. They were very sympathetic to my situation as I was from out of town saying in a hotel. They quickly repaired my truck, I was towing a boat and upon delivery they even hooked my boat back up to my truck after storing it for free for almost a week. I would give them my business for life if I lived in their town. read more

We ended up at DeLong with our '97 Linconln on the way home from a road trip when a heater hose started to leak. They worked long and hard to get us back on the road that day and even had a loaner car so we weren't stuck sitting there. It's clear why they have been in business for so many years! Thank you to the entire crew! read more
