I found her…read morethrough Yelp while searching for a realtor to help with our move from California, and from our first conversation, I felt immediately at ease. Our move was a bit more complex, as we needed to find a home not just for our family, but also for a family member moving with us, each with their own set of needs. During a weekend visit, Jennie essentially became my personal guide to the Carmel and Fishers area, taking the time to tour homes, walk me through different neighborhoods, and help us weigh our options. She truly listened to our criteria and went above and beyond to find options that fit our unique situation. With Jennie's help, we found the perfect homes for both our family and our family member. She supported us throughout the entire process, from virtual open houses to navigating escrow, and even continued to be a resource afterward, connecting us with contractors, plumbers, and painters as we settled in. Jennie genuinely cares about her clients, takes pride in her work, and sets high standards on their behalf. Over these past few months, she's become not just a trusted real estate partner, but a friend I still reach out to as we make Carmel our home.

As first time home buyers, we enjoyed working with DaShawn. DaShawn was also the only realtor we reached out to that wanted to jump on a call with us to really get to know our needs (other than bed/bath count), which was the reason we chose him as our realtor in the first place. He pointed out "quick flips" as we were touring, which was very helpful for us; he taught us to look under the cosmetics of things like flooring and paint. Where we could have used more support from DaShawn was during the negotiation / closing process. Had we not done our own research and had a good understanding of unique ways to write an offer, the outcome may have been different. Additionally, once our offer was accepted, we felt we had to do a lot of reaching out to DaShawn on progress of closing, and felt mislead on the seller's perspective of getting to an agreement on the sale of the house and the additional lot next door. Overall, we enjoyed working with him and would recommend DaShawn to more experienced home buyers.

Luckily, he accepted us as clients, and through the course of selling our home and buying another, he's become our friend. He presented strategies to us first and let us pick which ones to employ so we always felt in control. If we didn't understand something and asked for his professional advice, he explained it clearly, and gave us pros and cons on how different scenarios have played out for his previous clients. Working with DaShawn was such a positive experience overall. I recommend him without hesitation!

I lived at the Llanhurst Apartments and in the year I lived there the owners had changed management companies 3 times. In August my car was vandalized (a brick thrown at my windshield and it was egged). I did not get it back for 2 1/2 months and the second management company was extremely understanding that it would heavily affect my income on top of having extreme mental and physical health issues. The building is heavily infested with roaches and thankfully Kline Properties had exterminators come out but around the time City Place was taking over it was due for another round, which they never did so the bugs got very bad. During the process of City Place taking over management the entire building did not have heat for over a week at the end of January, which was coldest month of 2026. I received one 300 sq portable radiator for my 2 bedroom 1,200 sq apartment, which is not adequate as temporary heating. I was unable to stay in my apartment and had to stay at a friends house because of it. City Place officially took over February 1st and because of the heating issue with no communication besides a paper taped downstairs well over 5 days of having no heat, I put in my 30 day notice on February 6th. They wrongly filed an eviction on me on February 19th AFTER I put my notice in and requested a payment plan. I called them, was told to send my payment plan over (even though I had already emailed them asking to set one up and never got a response?) and it would be forwarded to the owners for approval. I heard NOTHING back. I was charged $500 for legal fees, ALL of March's rent, utilities, pet fees, and etc. although they changed the locks on March 10th. It is an absolute shame the way I was treated as a young adult already struggling with financial and extreme physical health issues, and I wouldn't doubt they've done this to people in far worse situations than I am. Kline Properties were extremely respectful, kind, understanding and communicated to the building better than City Place did while they were taking over management. Please stop treating tenants like they are a paycheck. They are human beings just like you deserving of respect!!!!! I'm sure they will comment about how I still have a balance but because of above said circumstances I'm sure that would be obviously understandable to most.

Just signed a new lease with them on a new property and immediately regret it. None of the maintenance was done in advance despite having made us wait extra time for them to complete it. The unit was filthy when we moved in. Mold, floors and walls caked in dirt, zero cleaning in the bathroom, grout and caulk missing, disgustingly dirty bathtub, splattered filth on walls of the basement as well as more mold. Broken items around the house, missing smoke alarms, no access to some areas like the garage. We had to rent costly cleaning equipment to scrape the filth off the place and had to pay laundromat costs because the washer that came with the place never worked and they took a month to fix it. We met the neighbors and apparently they experienced the exact same thing when they moved in a month earlier. They are also return tenants and regret it. This is apparently how they treat good tenants. It's no wonder no one stays with them. After all of this, they had the audacity to charge us an additional full months worth of 'service' fee for 2 days we had access in February when they did absolutely *nothing* during that time. When I pointed this out, they offered me a gift card to make up for all the costs and problems we had. What did they send? Some amazon cards. Are you serious? I had to pay hundreds of extra dollars because of the lack of maintenance and they give us some stupid website card? Just don't bother if you're going to send something worthless. That was really unprofessional and insulting. --------------------------------------- Our last rental from them ---------------------------------------- At the last place we rented from them, it was sold in the middle of our lease. We spent 8 months of the lease having our privacy constantly violated and disrupted by showings. We were harassed at all hours by the realtor by text. It was so bad we had to report him. Buyers showed up to view the home unannounced, constant illegal lack of notice for showings despite promising they would stop. Realtor was totally absent. Didn't even view the property until 3 months in. He never came to show the home, made us do his job, then tried to coerce us to lie about the property during those showings to mislead buyers about known damage. When we wouldn't, he complained to T&H and they retaliated against us by barring us from our rental during showings. This is normally illegal but there is no one to stop them. This used to be a decent company to rent from but they have gotten terrible. Correspondence is non-existent and they have to be dragged kicking and screaming to do maintenance. Renter beware!

I've done my best to stay afloat and have put so much time and money into the house that I have really been working to keep it.
