The customer service team was good, they were helpful, polite, offered some water while we decided. Most importantly though they were fast, and the check out process took only a few minutes. Later same day we noticed an online offer for the same mattress that surpassed the discount we received in the store, so I called customer service. I was able to connect to an actual person quickly, and again they resolved the issue quickly, matching the online price and refunding the difference. All in all probably was on the phone only 5 minutes. Received our mattress today, and the delivery team was also quick and efficient, took no longer than 10 minutes to include removal of our old mattress. So far the mattress looks and feels great, will revisit this review after using the mattress a few weeks, but don't think there will be any issues.

My friend said that is impossible as he was assured it was real solid wood made in Denmark. I said to him, I will cut part of his furniture and if it is not MDF or Particle Board I would buy and replace it. Lo and behold it was Particle Board. Found exactly what I was looking for on Z Modern Furniture's website - the 625 by J&M Furniture. Wife and I visited the store in Alexandria to try it out - it passed the sit test, so we pulled the trigger. Gus arranged to have our old sofa removed for a very reasonable fee. Delivery / removal day went off without a hitch, just over a week from placing our order. Luis and Bryan were super professional - disassembling our Ekornes to ensure it would fit through our narrow stairway, and carefully hauling our new sofa up said stairway without a scratch. Wife and I couldn't be more pleased. We'll be ordering from Z Modern Furniture in the future, and recommend it to anyone who likes contemporary furniture.

We ordered on 11/30/2020, quoted 14-16 weeks for delivery. It actually took 17.5 weeks until it was in our house, but at the finish line their automated system had good communication so that we knew the end was in sight at least. We've lived with our Winslow w/ Chaise sofa for five months now and I waited this long to update my review in order to really give it a good trial, and we love it. The foam (rather than down) cushions are super comfortable and hold up well. The Performance Velvet fabric puts up a hard resistance to our cat, no complaints so far, and we have the couch near a window with no observable fading or anything from direct sun. Super happy that we made the customization changes for a Deeper couch which lends itself to reclining, a Longer chaise (standard length would have looked really stubby and dumb with a deep couch option selected), and changing the down cushions to foam which is a firmer feel and will hold up better over time. These are all decisions that would have been awful to try to figure out online, so thank you for the brick and mortar showroom with all of the options! If I had one complaint, which is minor, the alligator clip that holds the couch to the chaise could be a bit better designed. The metal pole that is inserted into the teeth on the clip is JUST BARELY long enough, literally no room for error. We had a heck of a time getting it to latch securely together as it kept drifting apart because the pole piece kept popping out. Invest the extra $1 into that piece and make the metal insert part 1" longer, there's no downside to doing that as it wouldn't be anywhere close to the floor or anything. So all in all it seems like we made the right choices (guided by Beth) and went with the right furniture maker!

I had chosen the Alexander sofa along with the Maisie rug, and I had concerns about the rug having white patches on one side of it as seen in photos online as well as the in store pictures. I was then assured that it was a vintage look and that there was wear and tear, and that the rug I would receive would not look like that, and if so, customer service would work to provide me a "fair" solution. Now once I received the rug, my worst fear came true. One side of the rug is completely bleached/faded and it looks so cheap. Obviously everyone I contacted at Interior Define did not offer a "fair" solution, they only offered their standard return with expensive shipping and 15% processing fee. They kept saying that the bleaching is done purposely and is part of the design. What about the fact that I had raised these concerns with Blake ,my designer, and was told that this would not look like that OR else I could get a fair solution. To add insult to this, this is a Loloi rug and now I see that it is available on Overstock/Amazon at half price. I paid 795$ for this, and other sites have it for 330 to 400$. They will obviously refuse to price match. Now I am really worried about the quality of the sofa that I have ordered with them. There is no way I can call the store and talk to a real person. Obviously, I am going to avoid making another purchase from Interior Define, and post this to as many groups/social media as possible to inform others of their shady methods. They have one of the worst customer service policies. I have worked with good stores like Arhaus, Crate and Barrel, CB2 and have never faced such service before.

We came to him with a room/space problem and he came up with much better design ideas than we went in with. He understands design, function and color. He helped enormously when it was time to choose materials. The unit (actually lots of pieces put together) is solidly built. His installers did a fantastic job. We love our new space and how it's working. Rob also came in much less expensive than other Murphy bed places we had spoken to initially. We couldn't be happier.

Even with an injured rotator cuff, I have no problem pulling down and putting up the new bed. The mattress is really comfy (choices are firm or plush). Their installers are top-notch, and creatively solve problems of tricky interiors. They also do all sorts of other custom cabinetry and built-ins, but all I needed was a place to sleep. I've known Rob since 2004 and he is terrific. I've recommended him to a half-dozen friends who are equally pleased with the results. I can't say enough good things about him and his crew.
