So delicious!!! Hot and fresh made to order little mini donuts - can't beat that! My best friend & I went to the tanger outlets in Mebane but needed some coffee and had to try this little food truck set up outside and we're the first in line when they opened at 11 AM. Glad we did! We both got their iced coffee which I'm no coffee snob but it had a great taste and was strong which is exactly what we needed! They don't have any flavors to add or almond/oat milk, just kept it simple with half and half packets and sugar packets to add yourself. It was the mini donuts for me tho! We shared the Dusty Reece's which was peanut butter sugar powdering and hot fudge drizzled on top! SO GOOD!!! And again made to order - took less than 5 minutes! They were really little dough balls more than a donut but light and airy just the way I like mine! Their pricing was perfect - for 2 iced coffees & 8 mini donuts to share it was $16! If you get a chance to catch Dusty's Donuts do not walk pass this truck without stopping. You can often times find Dusty's at the Walnut Creek Amphitheater. They have a full calendar of events that they are attending on their website! These donuts are SOOOO amazing. They are made fresh and are hot when they hit your bag. The pricing is great! We contacted Jake (owner of Dusty's) in regards to having them do a 'pull up' at our wedding! Jake was soooooooo accommodating and he was such a delight to work with. He tailored a package just for us to meet our needs. The price he quoted us was amazing! The service that he provided was world class. Our guests were all raving about how they loved his donuts. Yesterday Dusty Donuts was parked at Tanger Outlets, so I was very excited to finally try it! The ladies working were both very nice and my friend and I appreciated their recommendations. My friend got the cinnamon roll donuts and I got pumpkin spice donuts. They were delicious!! I think these were the best mini donuts I have had. Every other weekend I make a trip out to Mebane to go to the outlets so I can catch Dusty's! The donuts are soft, sweet, and oh so good. I always get the cinnamon sugar mini donuts. They have lots of different flavors but the simple cinnamon sugar never fails. They also have great lemonade and if you get a large it comes in one of those reusable plastic cups! They are always so nice and pleasant to talk with. Definitely one of my favorite trucks around! read more

Over priced tiny donuts, the ones I had were just a little bigger than a quarter. $6 for a dozen mini donuts that came in a bag the size of a large fry from a fastfood joint and $8 if you get the fancy ones with a sauce. 1/27/19: I had their cinnamon sugar with buttercream donuts today at the food truck rodeo and they are AMAZING!! We came back for seconds. Lol. Wow. Mind blown. For those who know me, I love donuts and even have a donut hash tag. These rank in my top ten if not top five donuts of my life. I had the pumpkin spice mini donuts at the Bluegrass festival where Dusty Donuts truck was calling my name. My goodness, they were pillowy bites of perfection. The key is the mini donut size which means you don't need super sweet glaze to balance the amount of dough. So in one small donut, you get the perfect ratio of soft pillowy dough, and slightly sweet crunch from the cinnamon and spiced sugar. Your hot, tender dough melting in my mouth. Steamy? Well, they were! I got them served up fresh, hot out of the fryer at First Night. In comparison to the infamous mini donuts at the State Fair, these seemed just a tad less stellar, consistency a little more mushy (might have been because I crammed them down the gullet before they'd had a chance to cool and possibly set further). Minus a star because they ran out of some of the essentials that night including bottled water and hot cocoa, and because the 10-minute quoted wait for donuts was actually a lengthy 20 minutes. Minus another star given the confusion over making two lines -- but not having a sign to indicate this -- (one for drinks, one for donuts) so that we actually ended up having to stand in both if we wanted to get coffee along with our sweets. But they earn a star back with the adorable Dusty the dog mascot who, as their site claims, is the "official taster and leftover remover" -- sounds the same as my little pup. These donuts are worthy of an awesome review. I was at the Tanger Outlets in Mebane. I had a sugar high from some donuts I had previously ate that morning. When I saw the sign for Dusty Donuts (located near the Off Saks Fifth Ave) I hesitated until my intuition said treat yourself! I quickly perused the menu of the bright yellow truck. I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Delight mini donuts! Wow the donut flavor was potent and delicious. I found the glaze not only tantalizing but naturally sweet. The essence of the pumpkin spice donuts were captured and highlighted in this flavor. Sometimes when you have a dish that is seasonal, the actual festive flavors are lost in the sauce. Thankfully the pumpkin spice is not only there but pairs well on the cake donut. You have to try it, the spice just soaks in and envelopes every texture of the donut. The donuts are made to order and come out of the fryer piping hot! You have to enjoy these on the spot. encountered this truck at the Greensboro Food Truck Festival and can i just say: the customer service wasn't all that great. the guy making the donuts had an additude and was frankly very rude to me when i asked about their cheerade. they claim their lemonade "made freshly squeezed" yet he held up the bottle to me and said "it's premixed". not only that, but when i ordered just the regular lemonade, i got a cup full of what was essentially ice water with lemon. it was not lemonade. you could tell that there was little to no sugar/sweetener added. not only that, but i paid $6 for it. sorely disappointed. the only reason this has one star is because i couldn't do zero. read more

Great fresh donuts, we fought over the bag then clawed at the leftover cinnamon sugar.

My partner and I tried these at the Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo. The queue to order was quite long, so we thought they must be really special. We finally ordered the cinnamon sugar donuts with caramel drizzle. They were perfectly ok, but not great. The interior was a bit doughy, and the texture as a whole was not very good. Maybe if they cooked them a little longer to get a crusty exterior, the overall texture might have been nicer. With a little tweaking, they could have something really amazing. read more

I hired Dusty Donuts to come to an event that I planned for work this past weekend. Jake and his team did an amazing job of feeding everyone who wanted donuts quickly and with a smile on their faces! Additionally, THE DONUTS WERE AMAZING. Cinnamon Sugary mini donuts (half or a whole dozen to a bag? I can't remember) that melted in my mouth.
