Last year, my wife and I bought a Limited Edition Polaris 570. The purchase was easy and they were cordial. Today, we brought it in for a recall issue. The repair guy was the ONLY one nice. We made sure we communicated our intent prior to headed to the shop. We let them know and got the "go ahead" prior to loading the 4 wheeler up. We arrived and it was as if we farted in church. Pickup, post repairs, was even worse. Durham traffic caused awful delays. We called ahead to let them know we would be there in 10 minutes and arrived with minutes to spare. Their response, "well...get here or the gates will be locked. Sorry. "Best be here by 5 or no one will be around." We get there at 4:58. Lights off. A guy on a forklift is blocking the back lot entrance to make sure I don't delay him closing the gates. He says nothing and offers me no information. I go in and have to ask multiple times "can I get my key and the Polaris." The nice repair guy gets the key. He tells me it's outside. Where outside? I was just outside. Someone parked it at the other gate around the other gate outside the blocked lot that was already closed up. I begin walking around the shop. Final thoughts: I'll go ANYWHERE else. I guess I'm not a regular, so I won't inconvenience y'all anymore. Forklift dude...I get it. You worked all day. But, come on man. You didn't even leave after getting in your personal truck. read more

On Saturday I made my first lawnmower purchase. After some basic research and some help from a friend of mine and some insight from my dad, the decision was easily made not to make the lawnmower purchase from a store like Lowe's or Home Depot. My friend had recommended a mower for me based on his experience mowing my yard for me last season. He suggested a Toro 50 inch 75750 model. I arrived at the store first thing Saturday morning with the plan to learn more about their financing options and was hoping to leave the store as a lawnmower owner. I approached the counter and began a conversation w an employee who I later learned his name, Kendall. He was kind and knowledgeable as I asked a number of questions related to financing and other possible discounts. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they would deliver the lawnmower to my residence with no charge. He was patient in providing me with an overview of the mower and even discussed another option in a mower that they had on site. He answered questions related to maintenance and care of the equipment. There was question about when the mower would be delivered but I was very surprised to receive a call from Kendall before I even made it back to the house from leaving the store when he said he could have the mower delivered in about 30 minutes! I love this place, I still have the original Polaris I got from them in 97. They have done all the oil changes and maintenance and it still runs. I have been wanting to upgrade but I can't decide what I want next, but it will definitely come from this place because they have always serviced every item I purchased from them, even my acient '97 poloris read more

Always friendly, professional and knowledgable. They can get what you need and get it quickly and/or fix what broke. They have always been reliable and I will go there first for all of my power equipment needs. One time they even suggested a different place to get a mower transmission where I could get it used for cheaper which means they actually care about their customers. read more

I took my Polaris Ranger here to get the oil changed and because the brakes were hanging up. A few days later they called and said that indeed the emergency brake cable was hung up and it would be around a hundred dollars to put on a new one. I asked them to price out a steering wheel as well because the one on it was broken. They told me it would be about $140 for the steering wheel. Ok. $120 for an oil change, $100 for a cable and $140 for a steering wheel. $360. Two weeks later when I went to pick it up, the total was over $900. When I asked what had happened, they printed out a sheet that said in addition they had replaced the main drive belt $145, (It had a brand new one with zero miles on it when I took it in), an air filter $31, an outer clutch cover seal $29, a brake pad kit $85, 2 quarts of oil for $23, an oil filter for $13, shop supplies of $8 and shipping (?) for $5 all in addition to $279 in labor charges. Nobody ever called and said that I would need all of these other parts and labor. When I asked them how this had happened, an old, white haired, white goatee wearing manager came out and yelled at me that they should have charged me more. I have several ATVs and motorcycles of different brands, and have dealt with shops in the triangle area for over 20 years without ever having an experience like this. When I went outside to get it, yes it was stored outside in the rain, it was already on my trailer. They had driven it up onto the trailer with a flat tire while I was inside. The "old" parts were in the back of the ranger, and yes, it did need new brake pads, the belt was still brand new. I wish I could post a photo on here. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with this company again, and I will spread the word while we are out at Busco Beach... read more
