Liz(?) was an amazing server! (the tall blonde gal) Great customer service and made us feel at home and welcomed. Frequently checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Will go back again just for her great personality! read more

We ordered 2 pizzas and wings from Happy Pappy's and were excited to try it as friends said it was new to the area. I don't find pizza hard to mess up, however, this pizza was subpar. The pizza wasn't good and I didn't want more than one piece. I have no intention of returning to this place. I'm not really sure what else to say other than try a different pizza spot or make it at home if you want pizza. We cooked wings at home that were better than the wings from Happy Pappy's Pizza n Wings. The wings from Happy Pappy's need to be more crispy whether that means they need some time to broil or be fried. The wings would be a lot better if they were crispy on the outside. read more

If I could give them 6 stars, I would. I hail from the State of New York. I've seen fist fights break out over a slice & it's excellence or, not. In a car. Over left overs. A few times. No joke. By far, the best NY style pizza in town. The staff is always professional, more than courteous and kind. They seem happy, which is why I always count on them for a slice fix & they always come through. read more

Delicious pizza! Plenty of toppings. Fast service. Draft beer. Not a fan of the local soda selection. Cute establishment. Has indoor/outdoor seating. Pet friendly outdoor area. Highly recommend the pizza. read more

I went there on opening night for some take out pizza and wings. To quickly summarize the experience: it was ok at best. I question some of these initial reviews to not be genuine, as they are new accounts whom posted prior to the business being opened for business. They read as advertising and not true reviews. To further address highly positive claims of the product, I will give opinions and what we experienced. The crust isn't really flavorful, but it's cooked well. The sauce is indeed tangy, but that's to be expected from a tomato paste based sauce. I wasn't in awe of the cheese as these others are claiming. It was a rather standard Cisco cheese offering. The chicken, bacon, jalapeño toppings were good. We had an order of wings which was smothered in Frank's Red Hot. It was ok, but we probably wouldn't order them again. The price was rather fair coming in just over $30 for an 18" pie and five wings. Ultimately, the food did not sit well with either of us. That was unfortunate. I hope this place does well as it is opening in a very shaky time for small businesses. That said, I feel there should be some balance for the customer to discern if it is the place for them. EDIT: It seems someone affiliated with the business made an account just to harass me for my review. It was insinuated that I work for another restaurant and this is somehow my motivation for the review. Nothing could be further from the truth. Well, that brings my three star review to a one star review. How disappointing. read more

We came in here to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday, tried a little of everything- green chili cheesy bread (soon to be on the menu), four different types of wings (all amazing), bread sticks, & three different pizzas. Everything was amazing, loved the cauliflower crust veggie pizza! We enjoyed the beer wall and and Zuberfizz soda. read more

Great pizza and pour your own beer wall! Welcoming environment and cozy patio area to watch the game. Especially like the cauliflower pizza. Good place to take the family and a value at that! Oh yeah, cheesecake Stromboli is crazy good. read more

By far the best pizza and wings we have had. The servers are kind and patient while large groups decide their orders. Would 10/10 recommend.

Such good pizza and I love that you offer multiple Gluten-free options and quality ingredients. Your staff couldn't be nicer and it seems like you are always giving back to the community. Best pizza in town! read more

I love this place! The smoked wings were great! I love the dragon sauce. As a NYer, I'm picky about my pizza. The sauce has a great bite and the cheese is so stretchy and creamy taste. I had the meat lovers! Yum! read more

Friendly workers! Quick pizza for pick up. Gluten free options. Not the best pizza I've had but perfect for an easy take out option.

We totally recommend this pizza place. Staff was extremely friendly and informative. Ordering on line was easy and convenience. The pizza and chilli cheese bread was delicious. read more

Ordered online and quotes 30 minutes. When I arrived I wS told it will be just a few minutes. I watched them make my pizzas and put them in the oven. They need to work on their time quotes. Plus, no water or soft drink offer while I waited read more

Accommodated our family of 20 by seating us on their outside patio. Super delicious food with huuuge servings, and great service from Pappy himself:) The chicken bacon pizza was perfectly cooked, and the half baked cookies were gooey and had the perfect amount of chocolate chunks. Would recommend anyone looking for a nice pizza joint in Durango! read more

Best pizza in town but the BBQ chicken pizza is the best!! Wings are great and we ask for ours extra crispy. Beer pour wall is so innovative and easy. Great place for family nights or a date night. The environment is very welcoming and the service is great. Pappi is the bomb.com! read more

Too tired from driving all day we decided to order in pizza to our hotel room. The gal who took my order on the phone was super polite, and offered suggestions to bring our order up to the $20 minimum. I got a text within a half hour of ordering (on a Friday night!) that our order was on its way. The delivery guy was real friendly and appreciative of the tip we gave him. And, probably most importantly, the pizza and breadsticks were hot and delicious. We'd definitely order Happy Pappy's again! read more

Pappy's pizza has quality ingredients & a very friendly staff & owner. Service was fast & efficient. Pizza crust was very crisp & tasty, delicious cheese & sauce very flavorful. Food served hot & fast. Loses a star for only complaint of a scarcity of toppings ordered, pepperoni & mushrooms were hard to find on my pizza for price charged. Would visit again, good dining experience overall. Best tasting pizza in town! read more

Excellent food and service! Loved the self-serve beer and wine bar while we waited. They were very busy and a bit backlogged. The owner came out twice to check on us and give us status. All great. Loved the food and the great customer service! We will be back soon. read more

Delicious! And served fresh! The staff was amazing! The ability to pour your own beer was the best and at a really great price! Def worth making the time to come to. read more

Ate here for the first time. We had the Ranch pizza with white sauce. It was delicious!! We'll be going back.

Great pizza! I recommend the buffalo chicken pizza, it has a very savory flavor. The crust is soft and the pizzas come out pretty quick.

Happy pappys pizza is a great place to have pizza, wings and beer. The beer wall is awesome, you pour your own beer allowing you to not have to wait on a server to get you another. The pizza comes out pretty quick and is reasonably priced. My only complaint is the wings aren't fried. Just my preference. That is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. The owner posts some funny videos and is a neat guy to talk to. He also does a lot of giveaways and helps his surrounding community. Great job guys. read more

The wings were tasteless no seasoning. When requesting a refund because we took one bite and was unable to eat them the manager with red hair said she is unable give a refund because you don't like the taste this is how the wings come out everyday. The BBQ is sweet baby rays and the Buffalo is Frank's hot sauce. She said has no control how the sauce and wings taste. Poor customer service read more

Always great pizza and wings! We order from here quite a bit and it's yummy. Definitely a favorite!

If you like Papa Johns type Pizza at a premuim price, this is for you. Pizza is okay, nothing special and wings are decent but expensive.

The pizza was quite good. The calzone was okay I've had better. Available parking left my ch to be desired. Would visit again.

Visiting Durango and found this place. Food was excellent. Reasonably priced. Entire family enjoyed it! Will be back before we leave town. Only disappointment was they serve the pure sugar colas and not "Coke" and "Dr. Pepper." read more

We stopped by this place on our overnight stay in Durango. Both of my picky kids loved the pizza and breadsticks and my son even tried his first chicken wing. Everything was perfect from the service to the beer. I can't recommend enough. read more

Great wings that are smoked (you can tell by the red bones) had the red dragon (hot) sauce on them. There pizza was an interesting and tasty spicy sauce with amazing mozzarella cheese... like the real stuff yum. Im hopping to use the self serve beer tap wall during the football season! read more

By far the best NY style pizza and wings in Durango. Durango is a second home for us and our go to pizzeria is Happy Pappy's because the pizza tastes like really good NY pizza, we also love the beer wall and patio in the summer. Last but not least the employees are extremely personable and responsive. Keep up the great work Pappy!!! read more

Service with a smile. No complaints at all with the timeliness of my order or the people working. Good job everyone. The food was average. Nothing noteworthy or exceptional. In heard about it thru friends snd decided to try it out. Ordered 2 pizzas with different crusts to see how they are. Average. Sadly there isn't an epic pizza place in town. Everyone's average. read more

I moved to Durango a year ago. Since then, I've made it a point to try different pizza spots, breakfast places, dining, etc. After trying multiple local spots, Pappy's is by far my favorite. Everything you expect when you think of pizza. Well proportioned, quality ingredients, never too greasy, all around delicious. Prices are fair and reasonable. I won't be going anywhere else but Pappy's to get pizza! read more

Had an awesome dinner with friends. Friendly staff and some of the best pizza and wings I've had in a while. Definitely recommend!

Was not impressed. Service was a 4 out of 10, food maybe a 6 out of 10. I noticed they don't bother using gloves either. I watched the cashier ring us up and go straight to make a cheesy bread without washing her hands first. No gloves. read more

We decided to try pizza and wings as my son in law is a wing nut! Saw that they advertised "smoked" wings so we were excited! Unfortunately smoked wings was the furthest from the truth! The sauce was good, nothing special, bbq and buffalo. Wings are also not crisp. Flabby skin is not tasty. The pizza was good but, again, nothing special. Skimpy toppings and more like a 16" pizza definitely not 18". We ordered on line for pickup. Was told order would be ready at 1 pm, got there, called and a snippy girl said it would be "a while", 'cause they were backed up. 20 minutes later we had our food. I really want them to succeed so I hope they step up their game and read these reviews. read more

Mark is an amazing ambassador to our community! The food is great and we will continue to return. The cheesecake Stromboli is the best!

The pizza and wings are high quality and the owner is very friendly. You definitely get what you pay for.

Wow! What a wonderful new pizza place! I am picky when it comes to pizza but both their regular and gluten free crusts were great and I loved the all meat pizza we tried! Also had some tasty chicken wings, but be sure to get the bread sticks no matter what! They were the best! The atmosphere is fun and you can tell a lot of care has gone into making this restaurant. Will be back soon! read more
