Thank you A to Z Pool (Albert and your awesome crew), this review is a token of our appreciation. Why you should consider A to Z Pool Replastering for your pool remodel needs? They simply beat their competitors in many ways: 1. They keep their overheads minimal in order to offer lower estimates. When I yelped, they did not appear immediately on the top of our search. It takes a little bit of scrolling down. Please be aware, Yelp gets paid for businesses to appear on the top of your search. They also do not waste expenses on brochures or unnecessary costs that customers end up paying for to keep the lights on. 2. More budget friendly. I called and booked about a handful of highly recommended pool companies for estimates based on highest number of reviews. In the end, our experience is upsell, overpriced services, and unfriendly detailed contracts of extras. I yelped again for the second round and included A to Z Pool because they advertised "budget friendly". This was the smartest first step for us. 3. Genuinely helpful and upfront. We immediately met with Albert, the owner of the company, who was very helpful in guiding us which option holds out the longest for our money's worth. He did not push sales at all, gave us great recommendations on what we needed, and was able to start and finish within the two weeks we wanted. 4. Clear communication and reliable. We had the following work done: demolition, replace tiles, replastered mini pebble (hokkita George), add baja shelf, repair mastic, replace old filter, and lastly include start up services. Communication was clear with Albert, who directed the crew each day. They arrived on time every morning and completed each task in a timely manner. If you are particular about anything, make sure to let them know. I certainly did when my spouse had our steps too narrow together. I asked them to extend it, and it was an easy, quick fix. 5. They exceeded all our expectations in terms of doing quality work and keeping our yard space clean afterwards. They did not cut corners to reduce their cost, and we all saved because they kept their overheads minimal. That's the primary aspect of how they can offer the best price for the quality work they do. A to Z made it so simple and positive for us in the entire process. This review is based on our experience and overall satisfaction with them. I highly recommend you to give them a chance. They can give you that modern backyard and pool makeover at the most reasonable cost! Attached are pictures for before/after and simple vs confusing outline of work from them and another company. California Poolmen did follow through! Provided me a Flat fee which was under the price value for this job. Currently My project is on hold due to a city infraction I am encountering. Top quality cutsomer service and went above and beyond to make my wife and I feel good about situation. Many contractors hire crews and famously fall back from the project, but Andrew was there every step of the way not only to guide his crew, but also hands-on at times (which you almost never see today....) Once our project was complete, he came daily and handled the first 7-day startup himself ensuring the new concrete was in a good spot to pass on to us. Well, we had three pumbers come out and said the drain pipes needed to be replaced which meant new concrete. It wasn't until the rainy season came and our backyard flooded so high it would come into the house (I'm talking 5 inches of water flooding) that we realized we needed something done. I looked for the highest reviewed companies to come out and give estimates. We proceeded forward with So Cal Pools who was able to begin the job a week afterwards. They estimated 2 weeks for complete new concrete, pipes and redo of the pool. We also got a love seat added in pool, decorative tile on seats, removal of a raised concrete area, stamped concrete which is more pleasing to the eye, new LED lighting, conduit for electrical in case we want to add a manufactured jacuzzi in the corner later. Everything went very smoothly and was completed on time. Previously it was Nathan who owned doing the pool work and Brady who owned the concrete work. NOW Brady owns everything (which is the best possible thing that could have happened for the company!) Brady is so honest, compassionate and constantly communicates during the process and even afterwards! There was never a single time he didn't reply to a text or call me back within an hour, no matter the time. I was pregnant during the work, and my husband was in Thailand, and there was a couple days that Brady brought food for his crew he got me some also (who does that?!?! Only the nicest of people). He took the time to explain what the possibilities of the pool we could do, offered several options and knew the local codes to ensure the pool was done properly. He started the project within a week so we were happy to get the project going. The one characteristic that made him stand out was when he said he was going to be there on Monday, he was there. Anyone who's done a home project knows that this is the most frustrating part of the process. His guys actually showed up each day and the project took just a few weeks. It appeared that they worked on one project until it was completed instead of being spread too thin. We added a baja shelf, some stairs that are pretty stylish, the pebbletech material and replaced the pool pump. For the pebbletech we threw in some abalone shell too and that really gives it a sparkle. Walter went way above and beyond by also fixing our pool light rather than replacing it. Overall, I could not be more happy with the project and the work that Walter did. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get their pool redone from a small project to a large. He really knows what he is doing and will do it right. Also, his price was really good, but once you meet him you'll realize the quality over many of the other companies.

He did a pretty bad job on drains, cement and bad finished product for the cement part. He is a reflection of Carlos pools. Other than that, an office person calling from time to time would make the process smoother not just email.
