We were very hesitatant to put in an insurance claim or have our roof checked out after the storm because we had no experience and didn't know of anyone we could trust. That all changed when our neighbor recommended them. From the beginning to the very end I was thrilled with the way they handled our claim with the insurance company, saved us a ton of money and our roof came out beautifully with a crew of people that worked hard and cleaned everything up as it was progressing. They even trimmed some tree branches that were hanging over part of our roof that always caused gutter clogs. I highly recommend them and I can't wait till our gutters and facia are installed! If you are looking for someone you can trust...look no further. Call A-Abel! Sue Johnson, Tinley Park

It seemed as though everything was going to be "Add Ons" that they determined the cost of as they went. The salesman didn't even go onto our roof or inside the attic like the other professional roofing companies did. Very unprofessional from the start. They did a complete tear off and new roof install of the house and garage in one day. It looks great! Cleanup was mostly great. I only wish they had moved my patio furniture BEFORE they put chunks of my old roof on it. I would have never known about that if they had cleaned that up too. Also took them 2 days to take a palette with shingles off my front yard even though the foreman said he'd take care of that the next day. Other than that, great work!

His team of very hardworking roofers came and finished everything in one day! Very importantly, a few things really to Matt's credit and all the people that work for him. Phone calls promptly returned, usually within minutes. Start to finish in one day. Took proactive steps to protect the landscape, central air, garage doors, etc... Cleaned up! Did a really good job at cleaning up. Several of my neighbors commented to me as well that they were impressed at how well of a job they did. I also had 1 piece of aluminum fascia that needed replacement which they replaced and matched very well to existing that had been put up about 17 years ago. I sought out bids from multiple roofers, with Matt's being the most competitive, despite 1 of the other bids using exactly the same materials. Matt also has a greater detailed contract, spelling out clearly what's included, so you don't have to guess. Some of the other contracts I reviewed were not very complete, nor as professional looking. He has a very well rounded approach from start to finish and respectful as well. By the way, I am a Real Estate Appraiser for 45 years and have watched quite a few roofers. I never knew Matt before he did my roof. So, if someone asks me, I will have no problem recommending. Thank you Matt for a job well done. Don Martin, MartinAppraisals.com

He provided a quote on the spot and the prices were reasonable for the amount of work requested. The team showed up early the following week and worked at warp speed. They also repaired old flashing around the chimney and around the house. After receiving a few quotes, a friend introduced us to JE Roofing. The quote was reasonable, the customer service fantastic and their references all checked out. The roof is completed and I am soooo happy we went with JE Roofing! The project was seamless. Their crew was amazing and my roof looks great. There were no surprises and everything went off without a hitch. JE's crew came up from Lansing to roof my Wisconsin house. Its about 90 minutes away so they stayed in the area until the project was fully completed. They worked hard and long and I actually missed them when they left. But I know that I will see them again because I have a leak in my Chicago roof and I wouldn't trust anyone else to fix it. It was 10k plus project, on a steep roof, with multiple peaks and the only thing that got damaged was a motion light. Not bad, I'm actually impressed! JE Roofing is one of the few contractors that I've hired over the years that actually fixed more than they eff'd up! LOL but true. I would not hesitate to work with them again or refer them. IMAGE TIP: Its hard not to write a review and not include an image tip since I am an image consultant, so... JE hit it right down the the shirts they wore. Watching them work in their orange company t-shirts added to their professionalism as a company and as a crew.
