The breaking point was when they actually laughed out loud at us while we were discussing our budget. Disrespecting a potential client is bad business; disrespectful behavior toward a groom or bride during a stressful planning process is unforgivable. A catering company should offer grace and hospitality, not mockery. I strongly advise other couples to take their business to a vendor that respects their clients regardless of the budget.

My girlfriend and I came here for our anniversary because it sounded like we'd get something more than the average cooking class, and boy was I right. Rashaad was one of the most personable guys I have ever met. He was easy to talk to and seemed genuinely interested in our lives. Through pure happenstance, we were the only two people there that night, so we got a great, up-close-and-personal cooking lesson that I haven't ever heard of before. He taught us about the right way to cut things and how to balance spices not just in each component of the dish, but how to play the components off each other. There was a portion were we watched him do his thing and got to taste it. Then, it was our turn. He set us free to play with the cuts, the amounts of what we wanted, the spice blending. This has always been a well organized event and it seems they have really enhanced the offerings. There was several ways to get fresh hot food. We went on a Saturday night and they had several different stations open and a lot of choices. We went with the shish kabob and Greek fries. Always a good choice! I saw another line with more dinner favorites. They even had multiple ways to get dessert. One place was cranking out donuts and hot dessert while the market had a long traditional bakery counter packed with goodies. Speaking of the market besides the bakery they had an area where you could take home "heat and eat" family sized entrees and soup. They even had inexpensive cooler bags for people like me who love a "home" cooked meal. They had lots of other food for sale. I bought a bunch of Greek oregano, blocks of cheese and some olives. They had jewelry of all prices and even a mini rummage sale. I left my husband watching the entertainment while I shopped but I did not feel bad. There was a lot of traditional dancing and a band. My favorite was when they dimmed the lights and women danced with candles. It was beautiful. Since this is a popular event, parking is offered several ways and they provide a shuttle. I paid the $5 for close parking and was able to find a spot just steps from the entrance.

The lovely hard wood floors were eye-catching. During the event, I wondered around the property and got to see into many rooms and even the upstairs. The manor is setup great for a wedding with rooms to get ready in. There is a decent size bar in the center of the first floor. The main ballroom was where everyone was seated. The large chandelier is stunning. There was a large wrap around porch which is where the food was located for this event and made it a nice flow to walk around. There was plenty of bathrooms and easily found right outside of the ballroom. The food provided by Dubsdread was good and a decent variations of options. Everything was kept hot. We had a lovely time here for the event.

DJ kept the party going and the bride and groom were so happy. Great venue in Apopka, easy to access from Orlando. Lots of parking available.
