So, the quality of the paint is great, they match expertly, if you bring a big enough sample and the turnaround time is usually within a few hours or next day. Pricing is a bit on the high side, but not outrageously so. Why only 4 stars? Those guys are grumpy! No matter when you arrive, which person you talk to or how busy the store is, no smile in sight, no friendly word. Hell, hardly any words. Geez...

I have to know there was a sale going on, but you wouldn't know it from inside that store. There were no posters about the sale or anything unlike all the other locations I've been to. I asked if they were doing the promotion and was told yes. But I shouldn't have to beg to get the discount. What's worse: there are no prices on anything! You have to ask a sales person to get the price on even the smallest items. What kind of store does that? Is the price determined by how much he likes me? What I'm wearing? How rich I look? It's ridiculous. I ordered multiple sample size paint and one of them was mixed incorrectly. Skip this location.

He was so helpful with my swatches for the interior of my house and even helped me choose the best finishing. The paint was ready within minutes and he helped me bring it to the car which I appreciated since it was so heavy. They have everything from brushes, wood stains, tape etc. to help with the process of painting. I also really like how all their products are really high quality. Definitely will back for future home renovations!!

Located in the South Shore Shopping Plaza with plenty of parking. Apparently this store has been an Alameda business for generations. They used to be located on Lincoln Ave and have another store at Webster and Central.
