Helpful staff. They took some old paint cans for recycling, too. They color matched other makers paints, another big plus

Thomas even stayed late to help me when I walked in near closing time. Super friendly service every time I went in. Got a pine of SW repose gray from Home Depot for testing. Color is right on wall and closet. So I went to this shop to get a gallon of aura paint. But the machine didn't match the color right this time. Went back for refund, got yelled at. After showing pic to the owner, told the owner the color turned out blue it's not even close, I can't use it. It's more bluer in person. He told me" we don't go by pic." So he took back the aura and testing on a piece of paper. And said "your house lighting is wrong. My paint has no problem." When I tried to get the piece of paper and go outside to match the chip he wouldn't let me. And yelled at me" you know nothing about paint." he slammed the gallon paint on the counter and yelled again" I'm not taking it back". So unbelievable. Be aware of this place. No customer service at all. Horrible service. Totally waste of money and time. Never go back again. Of course nothing can match perfectly. But it' should be close to gray beige color, not baby blue. Maybe your machine needs to be calibrated? Why I had to be yelled at when your machine is not working right? You are not even trying to help fixing the problem or refund me for your malfunction machine. BE NICE cost nothing.

This year was no exception as he had a number on jobs on his 'to-do list'! #1 task- Replace the old wooden post metal mail box! Needless to say, he didn't get his new mail box to match the structure fitting that were there already! So, how do we solve the mismatch? He, now my not-so-favourite brother-in-law, says,'let go to Portola Valley Hardware as they always have a solution to my handyman problems'! We go to PVH and the friendly staffer at busy front counter cheerily says to go down Aisle 7 and I'll have Bob waiting to assist you! And there he was! Bob listened to our 'Mailbox' dilemma then offered a plan that efficiently put into action and solved our problem with a little custom carpentry and, voila, we left ecstatic that we could now complete installing the mailbox per his creative skill set! Thank you Bob and PVH staff for going way and beyond in ensuring you looked after our needs and sent us home totally satisfied! Hmm...what made my favourite -in-law most pleased and excited was that his bride was absolutely ecstatic at the awesome finished new mailbox! WELL DONE/5! Respectfully, Dave C. Kelowna, B,C. CANADA
