Pistachio and red velvet muffins
Youssef A.

Last summer I had pistachio muffin at this coffee shop. Today I told my friends let's stop here I wanna eat another one. It is 690 cal. We also purchased red velvet muffin to try. Pistachio is still my favorite. It seems they added some nuts inside which made it better than last summer. We also had two decaf latte warm: I liked it but my friend did not. The inside is decorated in a very nice way. The young ladies on the first day off 2020 were very accommodating and professional despite their very young age. Parking and access in and out are no brainer. This Dunn brother is one of my favorite.

This has always been one of my favorite, if not favorite Dunn Bros. as the coffee has always been perfectly brewed (never watered down or stale) and the ambiance is so nice, both in the area around around it, and especially inside the space, which is a nice open layout with a really tall ceiling. There's always some kind of art work adorning the space, and always an assortment of plants and foliage. This place is like a warm blanket at Grandma's house with the fireplace and warm hues, with the sun always shining through at least some of the windows. The whole space is always very tastefully decorated with nice paint schemes, and the interior is always themed to the current season. There is plenty of comfortable furniture with plenty of places to sit that aren't cramped. In fact, I want to get the name of whoever decorated this space for future interior design help. The service has always been good here too, but today the gals working were exceedingly friendly faced and kind.

Very comfortable and cozy coffee shop. A great place to grab a cup of coffee and either work or just relax with the very warm fireplace feature. A Dark Roast and a shot of espresso is just right to keep you going through the day, I would definitely stop here again when working in the Hastings area.

Ive enjoyed Dunn Bros in Mi several times. First time here in Hastings as Im here for work. First off, they all hv very friendly baristas. The vibe here is good. Much better coffee than Starbucks. Im here @ 1030 am on a weekday & could hardly find a place to sit down & enjoy a cup of java. Place is mobbed. This is the tail end of breakfast, so it was kind of a surprise. There are other coffee choices in Hastings so that should be an indication of how good they are. Finally, their prices are below that of a starbucks or other comparable places so do stop in theyll take care of you and enjoy the vibe!

I got a cappuccino that was good but not great. They use peace coffee.... I'm a fan but with all of these little places having their own special grinds and single origin it's hard to be above average when they use mass produced coffee. Overall the place is great to bring kids or to meet a few friends. The ambience is a big selling point. Not a bad place in downtown Hastings !

The staff is young but very accommodating and helpful in making the drink you really want. Supperrrrr cozy but many seating options for a coffee shop of its size. The menu is pretty much the regular cafe menu PLUS you can add or mix anything, making it versatile and easy to configure. I got the lemonade with peach syrup. It sort of flopped, the lemonade was fresh and it tasted like I bit into a lemon and suffered the consequences. The peach was absent, just sour punch so I sipped it over the course of my whole day!!! My partner got the Miel with caramel, which was delicious and heavier on the coffee side. The place is super cute and quaint. I used to study here with my friend and it's the perfect spot to get away from MN and enjoy some quiet time in a cozy place.

We waited in a short line, because this coffee shop was POP-ular! They serve a variety of pastries, bagel sandwiches and more! Restaurant and bar area are pretty large and can see quite a bit of people and when it is warmer out there is a huge patio that overlooks the Mississippi River. Great date night spot. Rustic, modern, and charming throughout the space. Very thoughtfully repurposed. Drinks: We tried the Hastings 14 and the Gold Dandy. My wife especially like the Hastings 14 and it was mixed with edible glitter which heightened the drinks look and experience. Very interesting drink. My Gold Dandy was a refreshing whiskey-forward sipper. Food: I had a burger and my wife had the shrimp. My burger was pretty good and was cooked to perfection, soft, juicy and pink in the middle. I enjoyed the rosemary fries, good savory flavor that balance the sweetness from the burger. My wife's shrimp were perfectly cooked and her brussel sprouts were tasty. Overall: A great date night location or a place for any occasion when you're looking for a drink and a bite to eat. If it is during the warmer months you will have a great experience on there vast riverfront patio. A great dining and drinking option to downtown Hasting's waterfront.

We asked to be seated near the window so we could see the river. I tried the Riverfront Sangria which I was very happy with. It was the perfect choice for our lunch. My friend chose the BYO mimosa. Build your own which provides you with a choice of two juices so you can mix and match or enjoy them separately with your prosecco. My friend had the Spiral Breakfast sandwich with bacon instead of ham, she was very pleased and it looked very filling! Came with some cheesy hashbrowns as well. I chose the harvest salad which was full of fall flavors like butternut squash, cranberry and pumpkin seeds. The dressing was a little heavy but otherwise I was extremely happy with my choice! It was a perfect portion size. This was a great end to our hike!

I was tempted by the hot chocolate as it was sleeting outside, but will save that for another day. The people in line ahead of me really liked it. The Beni was very good and I would order it again. But I am very picky about my crepes. These were too thick and eggy and I really disliked the Yum Yum sauce (kind of a tomato mayo). The Yum Yum had a strange aftertaste and my husband didn't like it either. If you aren't a crepe purist you may like these. The dessert crepes seem to be popular. I am rating a 4 based on the sandwich and the service. Since I rate all crepes by the ones I ate in France, it wouldn't be fair to compare these.
