The front shop has a very hometown feel, and the service is extremely friendly and welcome. From the first time we called them to the time we picked up my car, they made us feel very comfortable putting our trust in their service. Anytime there was an update to the car they called us right away to let us know, and anytime we called them, we got through immediately. They did a great job, and even though they don't have the tires on-site, they were able to order them, put them on, and have me out the door, in under 24 hours. Service with more than just a smile.

The service writer who handled this service, I apologize as I don't remember her name but she was a white female, shoulder length brownish blonde hair and a tattoo on the inside of her left arm, was very personable and polite. The male porter, tall black male with a beard, was polite and spoke as I exited my car in the service lane. He immediately entered the service area collected a tag and went to my vehicle to obtain the info the service writer needed. While I waited the service writer checked on me several times, and provided, without me asking, an update on the status of the service. Salesperson Sean DeVore, the person we purchased the vehicle from in 2016, saw that I was in the building and came to me to talk. While I was there he showed me the new 2019 GMC Denali 1500 pickup, which I am not in a position to purchase at this time but will consider when I am ready for a new truck. When My vehicle was ready I was promptly notified by the service writer, and when I took possession of it from another porter, white male, late 30's early 40's, approximately 5-09, balding on top, very polite, the vehicle was cleaned. Your staff treat people as people, with respect and patience's. This I truly appreciate. Ricky H.

Do I recommend Winegardner? Absolutely not! If I coukd give…read morezero stars I would This dealership has created one of the biggest nightmares my husband and I have ever experienced. We trusted Winegardner with our well maintained 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 for mechanical repairs. After completing the work, an negligent employee took our truck on a test drive, did not yield a stop sign, and was struck by another vehicle, causing our truck to roll and be declared a total loss. Our truck was destroyed through no fault of our own while in THEIR care. As devastating as that was, Winegardner's handling of everything afterward has been even worse. Our truck wasn't properly secured after the accident, and personal belongings went missing. Insurance reimbursed us, but one item was a sentimental bracelet thats no longer made to be replaced. Communication has been terrible. We've constantly had reach out to them for updates, feeling like an inconvenience despite THEIR employee being responsible for destroying our truck. Our Sierra was a beautiful, well maintained vehicle with features we specifically needed, including the MultiPro tailgate and side steps that accommodated my pre-existing knee problems. We cannot simply replace it with an older, higher mileage truck with an unknown history and pretend nothing happened. Winegardner seems to believe that because insurance handled the total loss, their responsibility ends there. The settlement went toward paying off our loan, leaving us without the truck we owned and loved. Their solution? Sell us another vehicle, costing us even more money, while offering to waive a few measly fees as their so called goodwill gesture. So THEIR employee destroys our truck, and their solution is to make another sale off us? What really felt like a slap in the face was Winegardner pointing out that they provided a rental and had to absorb the cost of repairs performed before their employee destroyed our truck. The rental was necessary because of THEIR employee's actions! And why should we be grateful for repairs we never even got to benefit from? The truck was destroyed before we got it back! None of these things replace what we lost or make up for what we've endured. We've lost our truck, dealt with missing belongings, had vacation plans disrupted, and spent over a month dealing with stress we never caused. We've been extremely patient, yet received disappointing responses, inadequate solutions, and now a lack of communication. It feels like Winegardner is more concerned about what this situation cost THEM than what it has cost US. We could have chosen countless other repair shops, but we trusted Winegardner. That trust has been completely destroyed. Insurance may have fulfilled its financial obligation, but that doesn't mean Winegardner has fulfilled its moral obligation to its customers. There's a difference between doing the bare minimum and genuinely caring about the people who trusted you with their property. We didn't bring our truck here to trade it in, sell it, or purchase another one. We brought it here to be FIXED, and because of their employee's negligence, we'll never get it back. Accidents happen, but how a business responds afterward speaks volumes about its integrity and customer service. We trusted Winegardner with our truck. They destroyed it, and we're the ones left dealing with the consequences.
