This is the nicest DD I've ever been to. It is far superior to the one in Wrentham Center.

This morning I had a chocolate covered in coconut flakes, a Boston creme, a strawberry jelly with strawberry frosting, an apple cinnamon, and a lemon filled munchkin.

There are signs for fresh farm eggs so I got a breakfast sandwich and it was inedible, like slimy. I ate the bagel and tossed the rest of the sandwich. My partner got some donuts and he said it was the equivalent of honey dew. I'm pretty sure people just like this place because it's a mom and pop shop. Next time we'll be trying Everything Bagel down the road.

There was a short line of people constantly lining up as we ordered. Behind the counter, there were about 5 staff working switching between taking and making orders. I tried their bagel sandwich with egg, cheese, and ham as well as a few donuts. The bagel was lightly toasted, but still super soft and chewy. The egg was fluffy and overall the sandwich was a win for me. The donuts were soft and pillowy and I enjoyed the lemon-filled one the most. If you're in the area, I would definitely recommend trying this place out for a quick bite to eat.

Also their blueberry scones are the best I have ever had. The breakfast sandwiches are great - but I usually ask for little or no butter on them. I find they add a bit too much for my liking. Can't go wrong with an onion bagel and cream cheese! The staff are the sweetest and always helpful, and they have a really nice seating area inside.

Let me tell you about Chloe, the wonderful woman standing behind the counter. Chloe greeted me warmly and genuinely asked how I was doing. I came in on a Sunday morning for a coffee and to get some work done. I ordered a hot decaf hazelnut coffee. Which Chloe politely informed wouldn't be possible because the brewed decaf hazelnut was ICED, not hot. And the hot decaf coffee had no flavor - no hazelnut. and As soon as Chloe saw me trying which option to choose, she came up with a solution. She gave me half iced hazelnut, and half hot regular decaf. THE PERFECT SOLUTION! She went above and beyond, and did it without thinking twice. Chloe and Leah smiled at everyone who came in that morning, and deserve recognition for how amazing they both are. Keep up the good work, CKD!

The shop is set in a funky old New England mill space that perfectly matches what they do: warm, a little rustic, and full of charm. It feels authentic right away, like everything coming out of the kitchen is made with care and intention. The pies are the main event, and they absolutely deliver. I went in specifically for a large blueberry pie to serve at our Easter brunch, and I'm absolutely confident it won't disappoint. Of course, I couldn't stop there--I also picked up a few of the personal 5" pies to stash in the freezer, which feels like a very smart decision for future dessert emergencies The ready-to-eat baked goods are just as worth your attention, but you have to time it right--they sell out fast. I managed to grab a lemon raspberry scone for the drive home, and I think it's my favorite scone now. Perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and exactly what you want from a great scone. Between the quality, the setting, and the variety, this is the kind of place that works just as well for a holiday centerpiece as it does for a spontaneous stop. I'm glad it's not closer to home though--it would be very hard to achieve my desired weight goals it if were. Just be sure to go early if you want the best selection of ready to eat goods.
