We both got one of the seasonal caramel drinks (old man Marley?). I got the hot and she got the cold. The hot was decent, no real complaint but I'd go elsewhere honestly. My wife got the cold version and something about it was off, especially towards the bottom it had like a bologna or something taste. She told me to taste it without telling me what she thought but we both came to the same conclusion. No clue what it could've been but it was awful. Personally I'd go to a big brand store over this one again. Inside was pretty tight too, especially for those in a wheelchair or have a stroller.

The crumb cake was warmed up for us and brought to our table. The coffees were ready within 5 minutes. The coffees were delicious (yes, I sampled the latte), one of the better fresh coffees I've had. The crumb cake was also delicious. Staff was friendly and the interior design relaxing. We'll be back .

David Tuttle opened Richard's Fine Coffee's on June 11, 1996. Upon realizing that there were no independent coffee house in Winter Haven, he wanted to bring residents and visitors a new coffee drinking experience. Richard's originally operated out of the Arcade Building before moving to the new Winter Haven Public Library when it opened its new building in 2005. In the ensuing years Richard's Fine Coffee's has become a cornerstone to the revitalization of downtown. One of the keys to Richard's longevity has been providing a place where people can meet, relax, and enjoy delicious coffee and bites. On the first Friday of every month they have a live music event. They serve a daily breakfast and lunch menu that includes hot and cold coffee drinks, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, hot and cold sandwiches, salads, soup, and pastries. I popped in for caffeinated refreshment during a recent trip to Winter Haven. I like how you can enjoy your drinks and food in their large dining room, on the patio, or across the street in beautiful South Central Park. Richard's has become more than a place where you can eat and drink. It is an important part of bringing the community together in downtown Winter Haven.

There really are not many donuts shops in the area, besides numerous Dunkins which I was never fond of, so if I find one that bests this place I will review it and downgrade this one a star, but for the moment it's 5 stars and we will return. The coffee was delicious with almost a floral note to it. Seemed very appropriate for this place. The croissant was super flaky and filled with a delicious almond crème. Absolutely delicious. My friends both ordered the guava and cheese pastry but said you really have to love guava if you want that because there's a lot of filling. We can't wait to go back. I will say because they are located on the side of the busy road the outside can be kind of loud. But the inside only has tables for two. So keep that in mind!

Everything is fresh and feels like prepared with love. They have all kind of breakfast option from sandwiches to croissant, rolls, buns.. amazing and delicious.. My favorite is the almond croissant but the choccolate one is also very good, we like their hot chocolate and cappuccino as well. The other reason we come here is , they use organic flour and milk, everything is quality and baked daily in house and the delicious flavors shows it.
