I wanted to try the breakfast meal with the burrito / hash brown and coffee. It was about $6.50 for the sausage/egg cheese and hashbrown burrito with a hash brown and choice of iced/hot coffee or cold drink in the chiller. The burrito was the size of your hand - I barely saw the egg and cheese in the burrito - It was ok but for the price4 it was not aq bad meal. They need to steam the flour tortilla IMO it makes teh burrito softer to eat. The grease you can taste it had the donut taste to it they use the same grease to fry the donuts and hashbrowns. I like the coffee here because its unlimited and fresh made in glass pitchers. I like the Coconut Creme creamer because it reminds me of how my mom love this creamer on her coffee. Also bought 6 pcs of donuts for $9.50 the owner gave me a free extra donut - Bought strawberry glaze, original glaze, cinnamon roll, apple fritter, chocolate french crueller, starwberry jelly, blueberry jelly. These donuts are soooooooooooo good. They are very fluffy and moist. They have a nice selection of frosted and filled. The service was great. We were greeted immediately, and given some time to look over the selections without feeling rushed. The building is pretty plain. Inside there are some small tables and like bar seating. It looked like most people just came to get things and left. Lots of people were ordering the breakfast sandwiches, but we just ordered donuts. The ice coffee was pretty good as well. We always stop by Donut Man on the way down to visit family in SWFL. This Saturday morning around 8am the place was a bit empty, we were able to walk straight to the counter to order. We ordered 6 donuts the price was a little under $10. We got original glazed, strawberry, cream cheese, vanilla sprinkle, and vanilla cream. The donuts were flavorful and so soft. It's like biting into a cloud. The parking here is very limited and at times it's very busy and it makes it hard to park. They have a drive thru but the line only fits 3 cars at a time before it goes into the street. I have had their breakfast sandwiches (croissant ham and cheese) before and they are good. The inside has a good amount of seating given the size of the place. The decor isn't new or hip and could use some updating, but honestly it's one of those hole in the wall places that are so good that it doesn't matter you'll come back for more. Donuts are amazing only issue we run into is they open at 6 but the donuts are not all ready till around 8ish. If your open it would make sense to have everything ready for when you open. When I moved to Florida in 2016 this was the first donut place I stopped at one day with my kids and what a nostalgic place full of everything yummy. The donuts are fresh and old fashion that don't have all the extra random toppings that can be stale in other places. The donuts are hands down the best ever. When you arrive there's a drive thru window on the side of the building and inside emulates an old feel diner like one in New York in 1984....ahh the memories. You can't miss this place if you're driving down 17! It's not the prettiest building, but theres a reason they've been selling doughnuts for around 30 years. I ordered half a dozen to share for a pretty good price, its $1.50 for one doughnut, and the prices go up from there. They have a wide selection to choose from. The ones I tried were the bear claw, fruity pebbles, and apple fritter, and I picked some jelly filled ones for my family. The apple fritter was so good! The place is clean. The staff were very friendly. My son and his family has recently gone Vegan. I didn't realize the extent until they brought their own food. I look up vegan bakery on Yelp and found this place. I want to get a donut for my granddaughter. She loved it. My son ate his but he said it felt like eating a cake instead of a donut. We were pumping gas next door and saw this little donut shop! My husband made a comment about it being a drive thru, and we decided to try it based on the other reviews! The donuts tasted fresh, and were delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised that at 8pm they still had everything except 2 kinds of donuts! The apple fritter was amazing, my kids enjoyed their usual chocolate rings and glazed were light, fluffy, and not too sweet! I love checking out Mom and pop shops as I find their donuts usually the best. After seeing The Donut Man on Yelp with the high reviews I figured I'd try them out. They have a makeshift drive thru window but you order at the window. Also, only two cars can fit safely in the line as it is next to the major street. I went in to get my donuts as to not cause a traffic jam. They have a lot of plain donuts and filled donuts. I got 10 which cost over $12 bucks. I didn't think that was too bad until I saw the size of the donuts. They were really small. The twist donuts were half the size of a usual twist donuts I typically get at a donut place or even the gas station donuts. Also, they were not fluffy at all. Not even doughy. My husband has been searching for 4 years here for his all time favorite donuts , powdered cream filled and Boston's custard filled donuts in Orlando. We've tried a lot of the recommendations but nothing has come close to his childhood old fashioned bakery memories or the famous one in South Jersey named McMillan's. ( unfortunately just closed too). Well we were in the neighborhood and I said this place has gotten some great reviews let's try it. Place looked a little sketchy, not easy to park.
