We always stop by Donut Man on the way down to visit family in SWFL. This Saturday morning around 8am the place was a bit empty, we were able to walk straight to the counter to order. We ordered 6 donuts the price was a little under $10. We got original glazed, strawberry, cream cheese, vanilla sprinkle, and vanilla cream. The donuts were flavorful and so soft. It's like biting into a cloud. The parking here is very limited and at times it's very busy and it makes it hard to park. They have a drive thru but the line only fits 3 cars at a time before it goes into the street. I have had their breakfast sandwiches (croissant ham and cheese) before and they are good. The inside has a good amount of seating given the size of the place. The decor isn't new or hip and could use some updating, but honestly it's one of those hole in the wall places that are so good that it doesn't matter you'll come back for more. They serve coffee and I saw matcha on the menu. The girl who took our order was friendly.

I was recently told about a spot called The Donut Man--and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Parking is a bit limited, but thankfully they have a convenient drive-thru. I decided to walk in, and the moment I opened the door, I was hit with that incredible, nostalgic smell of fresh, homemade donuts. The inside has a charming vintage vibe that adds to the experience. I ordered a dozen mixed donuts, but my personal favorite is the sugar donut. As I shared the box, everyone instantly gravitated toward the sugar ones--soft, clean-looking, and absolutely irresistible--leaving me with the rest of the mix! Throughout the day, I couldn't help but sample the remaining donuts, and they were all amazing. I ended up driving back the very next day from Orlando just to get another dozen and a half of sugar donuts just for myself . From vanilla and banana frostings to cherry-filled, glazed, and sprinkled varieties, every single one was a hit. On top of that, they also serve smoothies, hot breakfast items, and more. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area--great donuts, great vibes, and a menu that goes beyond the basics.

If you ever find yourself in Winter Haven or happen to be passing by, this place is a must-visit! You won't find a softer, fresher, and more deliciously flavorful donut anywhere else. This local gem, with its old-school charm, has been serving up donuts for three decades straight. That's a long time to perfect a recipe, and they've certainly done it. With an entire wall of options to choose from, there's something for everyone's taste buds. They also offer specialty drinks, coffees, breakfast sandwiches, and bagels.

Donuts are amazing only issue we run into is they open at 6 but the donuts are not all ready till around 8ish. If your open it would make sense to have everything ready for when you open. Otherwise I have never had a bad donut or breakfast from this place. 1000 percent with the trip also they are open later which is great.

You can't miss this place if you're driving down 17! It's not the prettiest building, but theres a reason they've been selling doughnuts for around 30 years. I ordered half a dozen to share for a pretty good price, its $1.50 for one doughnut, and the prices go up from there. They have a wide selection to choose from. The ones I tried were the bear claw, fruity pebbles, and apple fritter, and I picked some jelly filled ones for my family. The apple fritter was so good! I could definitely see myself picking it up for breakfast at their drive-through. The girls working the front were friendly and were helpful in sharing some recommendations. Like I said earlier, the building is old, but you'll be missing out if you let that stop you.

The place is clean. The staff were very friendly. My son and his family has recently gone Vegan. I didn't realize the extent until they brought their own food. I look up vegan bakery on Yelp and found this place. I want to get a donut for my granddaughter. She loved it. My son ate his but he said it felt like eating a cake instead of a donut. Well the mom ended of giving her donut to her daughter. I was sticker shock. These 3 donut cost me $16.50! Goodness! Vegan lifestyle is pricey but they seem to be happy. My granddaughter loves it.

The best donuts in the area. With quick service and a bit of a hole in the wall, but in a good way.

We also got a strawberry cake donut, plain cake donut and blueberry cake donut. All three of them were fantastic. Probably the best donuts we've had in about 5 years, moist and flavorful! My son had a yeast donut (chocolate frosted with sprinkles) and my daughter had the donut holes again all of them were spectacular. The true of the star was the man behind the counter. He was so kind and caring. My son ate one of my daughter's donut holes and she was crying, he came from behind the counter and gave her a new one. 10/10 service. I wish I lived closer.

So far Donut Palace has earned the local area 5 star rating for donuts. Albeit they don't have a plethora of donuts to choose from, there was enough variety to satisfy any lover of donuts. The posted hours are until noon (12pm for those who are unfamiliar with the word - lol jk I think) and I arrived a little after 11am. The donuts I purchased were all still very fresh (2 thumbs up). We really liked the donuts, which included lemon and raspberry filled powdered, apple fritter, cinnamon roll, and a couple of glazed. The powdered, which were for me, were NOT overly sweet and the dough was fresh and soft, almost melting in my mouth. The wife enjoyed her apple fritter, which was on the small size, and cinnamon roll. The glazed were not overpowering sweet, like a Krispy Kreme (no thanks). There really are not many donuts shops in the area, besides numerous Dunkins which I was never fond of, so if I find one that bests this place I will review it and downgrade this one a star, but for the moment it's 5 stars and we will return. BTW, the lady running the place was very nice.

I got there around 1:15 and they were packing up. I'm thinking they were packing up early bc of the rain coming which it did come before 2pm. The area is cute with the square of shops around and a coffee shop across the street. That's actually how I recognized that I'd been to this farmer's market years ago. They had different vendors including food trucks, candles, knick knacks, costume jewelry, art, etc. i didn't end up there very long since they were packing up. Check it out on a nicer day. I think that I'm good with visiting it, but my first impression was that it was a nice set up and there are trees for shade and free parking around. Of course dog friendly too.

There is/was one (1) booth selling fresh produce, having the monopoly (good for them I suppose) which is what a "farmer's market" is supposed to be about. All the other side items such as house plants, jewelry, baked goods, soaps, art work, etc are flea market type things; unless there are multiple produce selling vendors then I might give those others a pass for being part of a farmer's market. There is a vendor selling pickled produce, so I should give them a pass I suppose. I will admit that along with some fresh produce and pickled products I did buy some bread goods, a couple of jarred spice rubs and a snack. Yet that still does not take away from the fact this really is not, in my mind, a true farmer's market. Those we interacted with were amicable and no hard sales pitches were encountered. However, with the lack of produce stands and the small size of the venue I have to give this a 2 star (could've been better) rating as a farmer's market. Will I return? Probably, but I won't go out of my way unless I desire a certain product I can't find closer to home (such as the bread items, which were delicious.
