I was very happy to see this Dunkin Donuts drive thru opening. I've always enjoyed Dunkin Donuts. On my first visit i recieved the delightful "service with a smile." The employees are friendly. I ordered the "Tracy Dozen." Its an assortment of donuts and an extra donut free. Upon returning home with my "Tracy Dozen" I found that they didnt give me the free donut advertised. Still the donuts were good so I let it go. On my second visit to this location I specifically ordered a half glazed and half chocolate dozen. Only to get a full dozen of glazed. I'm trying to be patient with them. They have only recently opened and new employees yada yada yada but its rather important to get the orders correct as well as being pleasant. read more

I haven't been to Dunkin in a year. Last time I went the employees were rude and I didn't feel welcomed. I went today and I was very pleased to be helped by Matthew & Amanda. They have some of the best customer service I've seen in a long time. After today's experience, I'll be sure to come back more often now. I am a regular visitor to this particular store especially for morning breakfast. I could confidentially say this is one of the top notch Dunkin donut stores I have ever visited. The staff are friendly, courteous and always had a smile on their faces. The service was real quick, they would go that extra mile to make you feel special on your every visit. The food is fresh, delicious, tasty and of highest quality. This is one of the reasons why I visit this particular store so frequent. The store is always clean pretty spotless and there are crew who are always busy doing cleaning tasks making sure this place maintains the highest standards of cleanliness. The coffee is great but The service is horrible. There is one girl who argues with us when we have a complaint(which is rare). She tells us we are wrong, throws our drink at us, and slams the window and states at us, all because we ask for a remake of our drink. In Order the same drink every day. She refuses to wear a name tag so I don't know her name. But she is middle eastern, heavy set, young, glasses. I will be calling corporate and giving an official complaint. read more

CATHY, THE MANAGER, IS THE RUDEST PERSON I HAVE EVER MET. Last Saturday around 7:20 am, I went to this Dunkin Donuts location to buy a dozen donuts. I had a guest in my home and I was supposed to make breakfast for him around 8am, also I needed to bring Dunkin donuts to a meeting at 9 am. I was in a serious hurry due to lack of time. I had tension to be late for everything . I couldn't remember the name of each donut, so I had to go inside rather than drive-thru despite being in a hurry. Upon coming inside, I saw that there were around four employees but only one young boy at the cashier dealing with everything on his own. Because it was only him working at the counter taking orders from customers and making a lot of coffees, he was very busy on his own, I was next in line waiting for him to take my order, but he had too many responsibilities and understandably took quite a long time. I was also in a hurry, so when I saw another employee passing by the counter, I asked one of the other employees if they could please take my order. Of course, when I said that maybe my face was tense because of the situation. But she demanded that no matter what I must wait just like everyone else. If she said that she was very sorry to make me wait for a while, and please wait for the boy to take my order,...if she replied in this kind way, then I would have understood. But her attitude was proud, arrogant, and very rude. She was not kind at all. I was very surprised by her tone and said to myself under my breath "Shut up". She then made a humongous scene, aggressively screaming at me in front of everyone, " You said to me Shut up!" She exclaimed "You, get out! I'm not selling you any donuts! Get out!" When I found out she was the manager, I could not believe what I heard from her, and to be insulted in public. I just wanted leave this shop immediately but I was still supposed to bring donuts to the meeting. She repeatedly refused and she threatened to call the police already and demanded me continually to leave. Even if the police came, how are they going to arrest me for saying "shut up". She called me insane, humiliating me in front of other customers, then ignoring me, tried to take an order from the next customer. Still i didn't leave the store without donuts, and finally she took my order, but treated me like a dog. When I left this store, the tears i was holding in front of her came out. Living in Tracy for 20 years, I have not experienced this kind of insult from any store owner or employee ever! I have also worked my fair share in the food industry and know that we are taught to never treat the customer in such a hostile, condescending, insulting manner, even if the customer may be not kind. While I may have not been so kind as I was stressed and in a hurry that morning, the way Cathy dealt with her customers is unacceptable. Now whenever I pass Eleventh street, I get a bad taste in my mouth. I felt humiliated and seriously offended that day and have no idea why she went so far against me. She is a bad representative on behalf of Dunkin Donuts, and people should go elsewhere. read more

First time I went i bought the "Tracy Dozen"- pretty good. Second time I went I made a mistake when I ordered my chocolate donut. I wanted the chocolate frosted but ordered double chocolate. So when I got to the window. I asked for the chocolate frosted and the manager grabs the bag and takes the the donut and throws it in the trash then grabs the new donut and tosses it in the bag- that was extremely rude of her. Third time I went I asked for an iced macchiato and received a hot one. How can you get that wrong. They hired a bunch of little kids with attitude to run the place- bad move dunkin donuts. I think Safeway's donuts are even better than these. I went yesterday to scope it out and see the scenery. I did not want to support this big chain since it was adjacent to the mom and pop shop. I wanted to go so I can truly make a honest review. I was not impressed. The donuts taste average. I got 6 donuts: boston cream filled chocolate (ok), glazed (meh), chocolate filled powered (gross), snickerdoodle crunch? (Me thinks not), 2 regular chocolate frosted (meh). They seemed to have been sitting there for awhile, so they weren't as fresh or soft as they could've been. Pickings were very slim. Also I felt closterphobic as the counter and display case were too close. I think I will stick to the shop across the way. read more

Ahhh that's why....I was always curious why this branch had such a low rating. My first hand experience explained why. Came here Memorial Day Monday, only customers at the counter, you could tell right away it was an unfriendly environment. No greeting not even the expected fake smiles. Lady helping us kept picking up the donuts for my 1/2 dozen from the front messing up the frosting, she said it just came out so it was still wet, uhmm in my mind knowing that then pick it up from the side, but no biggie. Kept on waiting for our drink after finishing a donut. Still not there. Stood up and lady behind the counter asked if we got our drink to which I said no, so that's when she started making it. I went through the drive-thru and ordered an iced vanilla latte and a donut, don't remember the name but it was one with chocolate on top. Anyways, much to my surprise the coffee was half decent but it was the donut that I couldn't stand. I get it, this place just opened and needs to work out the kinks but honestly I've never had a worse donut in my life hands down I would rather go to Safeway or just about anywhere. I like Dunkin Donuts and am happy to have one in town. We were lucky enough to meet the staff and take a look inside the night before they opened and everyone was super friendly! Special thanks to the manager who was gave us that awesome opportunity. Such a personable person who knows the value of his customers, for sure! When we visited at the opening of the store, the staff was on point - they were friendly, fast and accurate with our order. The coffee was better than I anticipated actually. I got the sugar cookie iced drink with almond milk and it was awesome. Our breakfast sandwiches were great as well. Honestly zero complaints, the line moved fast as well. I visited again last night and the experience wasn't as awesome, but definitely not bad by any standards. It just seemed very busy and like they are still working out some kinks but the staff was still friendly and my order was still right. I think the service will smooth out once the crowd dies down. I know a lot of locals are angry about the location and I agree it's not the best location (I know this is an understatement) but what I don't understand is why wait until it's built to cause an uproar? Isn't this something that could have been addressed at a city hall meeting when the idea was proposed? Maybe it was just me who didn't hear a thing about how upset the citizens were until after it opened. If it would have been brought to my attention earlier, I would have been happy to help petition for a different location, but at this point, it's kind of too late. Anyway, in short, I empathize with the two small donut shops in town, however I feel that they still have a fighting chance. You can't get donuts like theirs at DD, those mom and pop shops have that authentic donut shop flavor that so many love. I paid 3.30 for a small coffee and one donut. The coffee was okay, but the donut was disgusting, similar to one you could buy at a gas station. The only reason why I tolerate is because sometimes you need a coffee fix and 99 cent is a better price than 3+ for a medium iced drink. I was so excited to try Dunkin when I saw it coming to town, but sadly I was let down. The donuts were hard and tasted like they were at least a day old and the breakfast sandwich my husband and I split was so bad. It was the one that looked like it was on toast, can't remember the name but it had some weird after taste to it and it was extremely greasy. The coffee we had was just ok, I can make better at home.
