First timer. Looked nice but it has a bar feel to it. Not my cup of tea but I will recommend since…read morethe service was very good.

First time in Tallahassee and I had to make a quick road trip stop for coffee!…read more Saw that Ology was in a brewery and it piqued my interest! The coffee had very good reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. The menu item names are very creative. Five stars for that. So far loved the vibe. And as far as customer service goes, they were very friendly! I really wanted to try their Rosemary Lavender but sadly they were out of this flavor. I opted for cardamom with oat milk. After the first sip.. I couldn't quite get the cardamom taste. Not with the second, third or fourth. It fell a bit too short for me. Cardamom has a very distinct taste and it was lost in the milk. Just tasted like a regular latte. I had to have more than 12oz (looks like this is their only size) so I also got the cold brew.. but the batch was not as strong as I would prefer. I think it can be better. I'm sadly reminded of the old Keurig days when my coffee would come out tasting extremely diluted but I would still drink to because it was quick and easy. Cold brew is a slow, beautiful and delicate process. This drink did not reflect that awesome cold brew experience. I expect the cold brew from a coffee place to taste much better than what I make at home. No for me Ology. Wish you guys better days though!

Let's be frank here.....Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts are overrated and extremely commercialized…read more Often times smaller, quaint coffee shops are overlooked and I hope the reviews keep coming to make more people aware of this great coffee shop. Also, Red Eye is newly partnered with Capital Regional Medical Center and has a coffee shop on the 2nd floor. One of the best things about this coffee shop is that it is organic! Another great thing I love about this company is that they support the community. The following information comes directly from their website: "OUR PROMISE Every time you purchase a RedEye product you are making the world a better place. Our coffee and tea are socially and environmentally responsible, and all our profits go to local and global empowerment charities. Some examples of RedEye's local and global social impact: Local Involvement RedEye Coffee is committed to making Tallahassee the best place to live. RedEye helps fill the food gap for seventy-six under-resourced families here in Tallahassee, serves complimentary coffee out of our RedEye Mobile Café supporting community events all over Tallahassee, and sponsors a cycling club fighting childhood obesity. Additionally, through an academic relationship with FSU, RedEye Coffee mentors FSU students from the School of Business in the Social Entrepreneurship program with internships guiding social entrepreneurs of tomorrow on how to successfully plan, start, and run a social enterprise." Now lets move on to the taste.....AMAZING! You can tell that the quality of the product is high. The taste is very smooth. I have been to other coffee shops where the taste was almost "burnt" or acidic and I never find that in Redeye. I do wish they had signature drinks and more flavors available but when you are a true coffee drinker, you don't need all of that....you just want it from time to time. The atmosphere is small but quaint. It is quiet and a great place to have a meeting, study, or meet up with friends. I like the fact that it is not over crowded. TIPS: Join their rewards program. They are closed on Sundays.
