This is legit the best Honey Dew I have ever been to!!!!…read more My family lives on the North Shore, so I only get to go to this location if I am up visiting, but it's totally worth a little side trip when I can make it!! I could not believe the pastries!! I used to get chocolate cream donuts from Dunkin Donuts as a kid (I know, I know, hello fatty!) and they just don't seem to have them at many Dunks anymore. There is one special Dunks that has them near my house, but they aren't even as good as they used to be. The Honey Dew chocolate cream donut is SO cream-filled that I literally had trouble finishing it!!! It was like chocolate frosting heaven!! I also got a black and white cookie thing. It was more like a cake with chocolate frosting on one side and vanilla on the other. THEN I ALSO got a whoopie pie!! Some things never change, hello fatty! But seriously, I was like a kid in a candy store. Or a kid in a donut shop!! Sooo delicious and the staff was soo nice!! I wish I could go there right this second and get me something frostingy and delicious!!!

Even without taking that experience into account, I've been here multiple times and employees have never been as friendly as other locations. The food and drink quality is comparable to other locations which is the only thing this location has going for it.

When my parents came to help me move in, we came here every day for breakfast and Edgar (the owner I think?) seriously is the sweetest man on the planet. Always asks me how I am when I come in and has remembered me as well. Food: Their muffins are HUGE and so delicious! This summer they've had blueberry, blueberry oatmeal, banana, apple cinnamon, chocolate chip, cranberry orange, the list goes on! Their breakfast sandwiches on croissants are amazing. So buttery and soft. Their smoothies are also really delicious and refreshing, not packed with sugar like some other places! Coffee: I have never been a cold brew person bc I like really strong coffee but I make an exception for theirs. Seriously I've never had such good cold brew in my life and I've been to an aggressive amount of coffee shops! I am absolutely addicted to their cold brew. Overall, I can't recommend Java Sun enough. The experience is great, it's a cute, local place, and all their offerings are amazing.

I arrived earlier and there was a short line. There was about a ~10 minute wait for the order to be completed. I ordered the Northshore, lemon blueberry scone, and cold brew. I'd never seen maple aioli on anything before so I was intrigued. I devoured the sandwich within a few short minutes. It was absolutely delicious. The lemon blueberry scone was perfect - not dry and the lemon flavor / glaze was amazing. I was only in town for a day, but I would 100% go back and have Crave as my first breakfast option if I'm ever back in the area.

I visited here for the first time and as a tourist, but everything was objectively confusing. The workflow is not good, as the person who takes your order at the register also makes your sandwich. They are so busy so they are all squeezing past each other going down the sandwich prep line, with so many hands scooping spreads and picking up sandwich meats and toppings. Then the person has to run back to the register ring you up. The person who took my order was also very rude. She was taking my order only partially and was confusing me and myself. I feel like she forgot my order at some point, like asked me what type of bagel I wanted 3x. I also asked to cut my bagel in 1/3 instead of 1/2 and she was very rude about it and I just said 1/2 is fine. My sandwiches were good. I got the: Fresh Chicken Salad on Marble Bagel and Smoked Turkey Sandwich on a Spinach Bagel Both had a good amount of cream cheese, meat, and veggies. All pretty proportional. Aroma Joe's in Middleton continues to disappoint on multiple levels. The staff often seems bothered…read morejust to take your order, especially later in the evening. Instead of feeling welcomed, you get the impression that you're inconveniencing them by even walking in. Accuracy is another issue. Even the simplest drink orders come out wrong far too often. When you stop in for something quick, you shouldn't have to double-check everything before leaving especially the size of the drink. It also doesn't help that the music inside is so loud that the staff can barely hear a customer placing an order. Turning it down even a little would go a long way toward improving communication and avoiding mistakes. This location has potential, but between the unwelcoming attitude, in my opinion the wrong side of route 114, the loud environment, and the regular order errors, it really needs serious improvement before it becomes a place worth returning to. Several other AJ locations seem to be slipping the last year or so. Maybe expansion happened too fast or they just want to be like other coffee shops that couldn't care less what drink they give to you.
