Right up my alley. I got an almond croissant and a hot chocolate. The croissant came out warm, crispy on the outside, soft and flaky inside. The almonds made it even better, adding a crunch and nutty flavor in every bite. It's the small details that just makes the whole thing different. The hot chocolate was rich, creamy and it had an after taste that I couldn't figure out but it matched perfectly with the croissant. The guys working there (pretty sure they were the owners) were super friendly and easygoing. Only thing is, they take their time with the drinks but you can tell it's because they actually care about what they're making. Totally worth the wait. Perfect spot to slow down and start your morning.

If you're looking for Puerto Rican food and in the area, it's a decent spot which is why it gets 4 stars. The Jibaritos were tasty and so was the arroz con gandules! I think the restaurant is a unique concept: it's a combination of a small Christian book store and a home-like cafe combined with a Puerto Rican restaurant. The menu is small. The servers are kind and bring the food quickly.
