The first time I went, I remember I got plain churros. My boyfriend suggested for me to try the vanilla filled churro and I can't look back since that day. Vanilla filled churros are my fave and go-to flavor especially when I go to Xurro. Mobile App: I highly recommend downloading the Xurro mobile app and placing your order that way or placing your order by phone. I usually order through their mobile app to make sure my points are in my account and can get discounts on future purchases. When you order online, the allotted time they give you is it will be ready in about an hour. I usually order ahead of time so but the time I get there, it's ready with little to no wait. I'm not sure how long it takes when you place an order right then and there, especially during busy hours, but I can only imagine. Food/Drink Items: There are many delicious options to choose from although churros are their speciality, they also have coffee, ice cream, etc. I feel old school for saying this or maybe this is just an old school flavor, but I find it hard to find establishments that have Superman ice cream. Xurro, at least the location on 63rd near Midway had Superman ice cream and I love it! The only other place I know that serves Superman ice cream is Huck Finn Restaurant. Customer Service: All the staff I've interacted with every time I go are always welcoming and friendly. My order is always correct & usually ready when I pick it up with doing a mobile or online order. Parking: Parking is really tricky on 63rd St. It's a hit or miss with parking. There's usually no parking when I go to Xurro, so I usually park near it and have my emergency lights on. Overall Experience: Overall, I always have a great experience whenever I come to Xurro. I highly recommend this place if you're craving churros and their churros taste wayyyy better than one you can get at a carnival during the summer time. H espresso drinks are fully prepared by the machine, probably best considering the employees helping me were wearing dunkin donuts hats so they most likely have no barista training. The first employee looked at me and walked past three times, waiting for her work partner to help me. Their personal conversation was far more important that waiting on any customers. I had walked up a few minutes earlier and there was no staff behind the counter. I should have walked away to get any type of drink from anywhere rather than return. The quality of the iced latte? Pretty much 7-eleven vending machine level.
