Chill vibe inside the store. The boba barista was very knowledgeable and helpful. I tried the Taro boba tea. Delicious and not sweet! Looking forward to trying a new drink on the next visit!

I wanted boba at 8 pm and was too lazy to drive to China town, but I discovered this gem. First off it's so cute and colorful inside. I love all the rainbows and music. I tried the strawberry shortcake and added strawberry boba. We also tried the brown sugar with tapioca which was very yummy and sweet. They have a wide variety from milk tea, frappes and teas. The prices are affordable regular size 5.99 large is 6.99 I will definitely be coming back

    Cheese Nachos

I ordered the nachos thinking they were going to be like the picture but they weren't .. they were stale and didn't taste good.

Picture outside: pink straw is a large lychee jasmine tea with tapioca. Blue straw is a large horchata milk tea with tapioca

Tea Yard - Matcha tornado and brown sugar milk tea with creme brulee.

This time, although that sign was still up over one menu, the rest of them were not. So, I took a chance and ordered it. I asked for half sugar, because I usually ask for 25%, but I figured with matcha frappe, I might need a little. It turned out good, but I think I expected more of the creme brulee to be present, and that was my mistake. It was mainly a matcha frappe (matcha and ice blended together) with a hint of the creme brulee along the side. By 1/3 of the way down, my mouth was numb from the cold. I probably won't order this one again, at least not in 30 F weather- haha. My partner got the same drink as last time, except this time he ordered a large. He got the brown sugar milk tea; 50% sugar; little ice. Add creme brulee topping. That was delicious, just like last time. The people working here are very sweet. I'm not sure if they are a family, but they seem like it. They work very well as a unit with the young woman at the register, and the elder man and woman making the drinks. The inside is cute. There is one small table and two benched areas with various designs on the walls, and the toy machines toward the back. We are planning to come here more often and try other flavors!

It was missing the cream shown on the menu, and I know how it should look since I've ordered before. I understand they may have run out since it was late (around 8:45pm), but it's disappointing that no one informed us. They could've at least explained it to the person picking up the order instead of saying nothing. I ended up paying full price for an incomplete product. -also, at least at the NorthRiver Side location, the sugar level option doesn't seem to be respected. Whether you ask for 25% or 50%, the drinks always taste like 100%. If that can't be controlled, it shouldn't be listed as an option. -as a frequent customer, I used to earn points and redeem them for a free boba, a couples weeks ago I was told that option was no longer available. I really like the drinks here, but overall there needs to be better communication and more transparency with customers.

I like how there are pieces of fresh peach in there. My family members are fans of the mango slush drink. Usually, you order everything at the kiosks, and then they will call out your name.
