Not an actual donut shop. Just a case in a grocery store. Just ridiculous it's not stated before stopping.

We were in yesterday (Sat around 8:15 AM). The girl working the order register was a snot from the get go. I find it hard to believe that other customers didnt have complaints about her either. We attempted to order food which she rang up nit than said we don't have biscuits and gravy so you can't have that or the savory crepe with gravy. Ok but you rang it up, didn't ask anyone so how's then did you know you didnt have two of the six things you have on the menu? We then ordered house coffee which she then began writing our name on plastic drink cups. When we told her, those are regular coffees right? She said no your ordered iced. My girlfriend said NO, I ordered coffee and I said, "I'll have a coffee too". I never said iced ether and she threw a fit. We said you know what, make it 2 Togo coffees. She gave my girlfriend that leaked the entire time and the bottom of the cup was saturated like it was going to fall apart anytime. She has no business being in a customer service role. Not sure what her issue was. Was it we weren't regulars? Because if so, as a small business-good luck growing your business catering only to your 20-30 regulars. I will say, it was a solid cup of coffee though.

Located at the intersection of 135th St in a very safe yet easy to miss mini-strip mall, Revocup is…read morea high level coffee experience! First of all, be sure not to blink because the sign isn't very visable and the location is unassuming from the outside, abeit a very clean exterior. Walking in, I love the vibe, trendy but not pretentious, grounded yet modern and a fair amount of people but not overflowing. Yessiree Bob, this is my kind of place. Oh and the baristas are patient, kind and willing to offer advice based on your individual tastes. I've been here several times; however, my eating habits preclude me from indulging in anything outside of berries. Do the apple fritters, donuts, muffins and other items look outstanding, of course they do. In fact, my buddy whom I generally meet there has raved how good the pastries are and after living in Austin and trying home made poptarts, I'm still kicking myself for not trying them. However, the path to maintaining a healthy weight and figure is paved in discipline. I must admit they nailed the ambiance. The cement floors are patterned with what looks like dark wood textured tiles and the walls are a warm burgundy, emitting a certain visual warmth. The hanging art amuses me, sometimes it's movie paintings, sometimes its modern art while other times it's eclectic and I've never figured out their rotation, but I appreciate it. The hanging lamps offer a bit of 2010 mod while the open coffee service area proudly displays all of the tools of an expert craftsman. The counter area has a small display case enticing the sweet tooth and the chalk boards give a simplistic view of their menu, but they also offer daily "experiments" that are fun to sample. The first time I came, I tried the Café Au Lait which was very strong, robust and full of lasting flavor. The 12oz amount seemed to be about perfect for my needs. The next time I dropped by I sampled the Dulce de Leche which was a mistake. Why, you might be wondering? Because I've never ordered anything else since then and I always get the 16oz. It's smooth, a little softer on the coffee flavor while balancing it with the strong caramel notes. I know it's probably got more calories than I want, but hey, that's why I'm not eating! They also have some pretty good selection of home ground coffees from places like Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Brazil and other far, far away locations. Come to think of it I don't recall if they have any Hawaiian beans which are pretty trendy now (Kona is a great coffee!!) Oh I forgot to mention they do have a fast wifi but please for the love of God, don't be that geek in the corner pretending to write the great American novel in the corner. That's so.... 2000s.... Overall, this is my favorite coffee shop in Overland Park and it's not even close. Stop on by for the best coffee experience you'll have in the area!

Located in the old MCM building that formerly was the home of the old Tastee Freeze, it already started out with a fun atmosphere. And the owners did a nice job of making it even more welcoming. I even enjoyed the barstool, which looked to be about 75 lbs but actually was more like 10. As my Corgi body got up, that thing shot out from underneath me like a butt mounted, spring loaded rocket and took off across the dining room. Many nice people asked if I was OK, and I assured them that I was only dealing with the pain of embarrassment. I like to think that my exploits entertain the masses :) As for the coffee, it was excellent. Much better than the overheated fare at Charbux. The pastries were fresh, tasty, and some of the best I've ever had at a coffeehouse. The young baristas that work there are very nice, which is refreshing. The owner popped in while we were there and it's obvious he's detail oriented. Expect a line, but know that it's worth it.

The caramel flavor was definitely there but I couldn't pick up the coffee flavor if that makes sense. I ordered a scone and it was super dry. Wouldn't recommend it.
