They fell over and I took a bite but so good.

I love the options of dirty soda, I got the the Whister which is a red bull drink so good and 4 cookies, the Brookie, snickerdoodle, salted caramel and cookies and cream.

this is a real cute little cookie shop. they also have gluten-free selections and I picked a couple. The gentleman behind the counter was super nice and explained all about his cookies and drinks. definitely will go back here.

Cute quote on box lid.

Today must be my lucky day because I came right in time to try the Dubai Chocolate cake and it was…read moredefinitely a treat! I have always wanted one of their cakes with the icing being a chocolate version instead, I love the regular cream cheese frosting...but chocolate icing just hits differently on chocolate cake. I had every intention on finally trying the chocolate-chocolate chip cake, but when they let me know the Dubai chocolate will discontinue after tomorrow it was a no brainer!!! The filling was a perfect balance of pistachio white chocolate and toasted kataifi, it was so good I ate all of the middle before I touched the cake(: My mom said she also forgot what most of the flavors taste like since we haven't been here in a while, so we took this as an opportunity to get a customized bundtini assortment. She really wanted to try the new seasonal flavor banana pudding cake and her favorite the classic carrot. Added a few lemon and a couple Oreo and confetti. Our server Janice was extremely patient as we made our choices and gave us all the details about how long the seasonal cakes would be in store. So if you're reading this after April 4th, 2026 you might miss the Dubai Chocolate and it's much better than the candy bar or strawberries so run, don't walk!!! Also, have to note that for the lobby area being on the smaller end, it is packed with essentials to complete for all types of celebrations. Mini balloons, cards, themed bears, candles and sets of plates, napkins and utensils. Didn't talk much about the actual cake because it honestly speaks for itself. The brand lets you know it's nothing but Bundt cakes in 3 sizes. Although, I truly wish chocolate icing was available in addition to the vanilla all the time....for the chocolate lovers like me, but I suppose the Dubai will to hold me over until next time(:

The cakes are delicious. They have many varieties and they have gluten free. I wish they had more…read morevariety of gluten free

Wifey wanted to get out of the house, but I didn't wanna go driving on that day cause was kinda…read morehot. So we decided to try this gelato place down the street. There's 4 street parking stalls out front on Johnson Dr. The inside is clean & AC was nice on hot days. The girl behind the counter was nice & gave us samples of the gelato that we were curious about. Wifey selected a med cup of dark chocolate and strawberry. I got the med cup with pistachio and coconut. We watched the girl making our cups and noticed she gave more of one flavor than the other in each of our cups. I was a lil disappointed about that. It ended up being 2/3 dark chocolate and 1/3 strawberry in wifey's cup. There was 2/3 pistachio and 1/3 coconut in mine. I like even amounts if you're gonna have a cup with 2 flavors. Lil bit of one flavor mixed with the second flavor. I ended up with a bit more pistachio than I expected. Wifey definitely had more dark chocolate than strawberry. I think next time we'll ask if they can scoop closer to even amounts of each. Although the total amount of gelato was more than worth the cost. We did sit inside since outside was pretty hot and almost no breeze. The place had 3 tables. One had seating for 4 and the other 2 had seating for 2 each. When we entered one of the 2 seater tables had 2 ladies that were jus sitting there with drinks and talking and laughing really loudly. It was echoing in the small room. Other than that it was nice in that cozy lil shop. We liked how the girl behind the counter was patient and welcomed us when we told her it was our first time there. I wanna try some other combos next time. This place reminds me of the lil gelato place we liked back home in Hawaii. A Hui Hou!

You walk in expecting a nice dinner in Shawnee, Kansas. What you get instead is Michelin-star-level…read moreservice, presentation, and hospitality, delivered with warmth, confidence, and zero pretension. The kind of place where the plates look like art, but you immediately destroy them because the food smells too good to admire for long. Then the owner comes to your table -- and not in the "just checking in" way. No. She guides you. She explains everything: where the menu comes from, why it exists, what flavors are about to happen, and why you're about to rethink your life choices up to this point. She speaks with passion, clarity, and genuine pride -- and suddenly you trust her with your entire evening. Possibly your future. The menu itself is a beautifully orchestrated mix of Spanish, Mexican, Italian, and Argentine cuisine, and somehow none of it fights for attention. Every dish knows exactly what it's doing. Appetizers? Fantastic. Main courses? Outstanding. Desserts? Referred to as "more than delicious," which sounds like exaggeration until you taste them and realize it's just accurate reporting. And the wine -- oh, the wine. A Malbec lineup that could convert people who "don't really like red wine" into people who suddenly have opinions about terroir. Think it's only a dinner spot? Incorrect. They also serve lunch, featuring amazing sandwiches and small plates that make you wonder why you're ever eating lunch anywhere else. And yes -- there's brunch, which is just unfair to other brunch places trying their best. What truly seals the deal, though, is the owner herself. She is kind, genuine, passionate, and unforgettable. If you're lucky enough to meet her, you'll leave feeling oddly uplifted -- well fed, well treated, and slightly convinced the universe wanted you there that night. This is not a "walk in when you have time" restaurant. This is a run, don't walk dining experience. Put it on your list. Move it to the top. Then go -- and thank me later.

The menu looks like there are a lot of options both food and drinks. I will go back and eat there when I have more time to do so. The food I got was good and had good flavors.
