This place has been on my list to check out for a while but I was never in the area when I had time. Cute little old ice cream shop feel. There have Salt water Taffy, Ice Cream. Even board games for toy entertainment. The ice cream was large portions and had a good creaminess to it. It also had a freshness to it as well. I will definitely be stopping in here more!!!

This place delivered on the whole Old-Fashioned-Mom-and-Pop-Ice-Cream-Parlor vibe. Inside they've got a great selection of Blue Bell Ice cream and cones/cups. They do shakes, too. If ice cream isn't your thing they have cookies, cupcakes, fudge and candy. It looks like they also offer a lunch menu, if you're looking for a sandwich or some soup. I love how light and bright the inside of the place is. Just past the main room with booth seating is another room with tables and chairs, and a selection of board games. My kids and I played Candy Land while they ate their ice cream. I got a piece of fudge and it was quite delightful. All in all, it this place weren't so far away for us we'd be here a lot! Glad we got the opportunity to stop in while we were down this way.

I had planned to stop at Dairy Queen on my way home from running some errands, but decided to support a small local place instead. I honestly wish I had gone to DQ. I would have gotten more for my money there, plus much better tasting ice cream. This was mediocre at best. And such a tiny amount for the price. The staff was nice enough, but I wouldn't call them friendly. I expected more from a place that seems to have a lot of young kids come in with their parents. The shop was pretty cute, but nothing spectacular. I may give it another try sometime for the fridge or cannoli, but I'll stick to other places for ice cream.

A neighborhood sweet shop serving Blue Bell ice cream!

It ain't 'ice cream', it's FroYo, but the intent is very much the same, without the butterfat content. Plenty of flavors to choose from, whether rotating or anchors, toppings of all kinds, and even sorbets and keto-friendly options. So why doesn't that count as great? Maybe it's the texture of FroYo (or even the iciness of the sorbet), but still, the mouthfeel is just a touch shy of that silky creaminess of ice cream. I know, I know, you can't hold Fifth & Emery to a standard the product wont reach, so focus on what they do well. Toppings are pretty much self-serve, as is the FroYo/sorbet, and be careful what you load up because the pricing is weight-based. Better yet, don't be cautious and let your tummy be in charge with lots to choose from, including boba, sprinkles, nuts, & about every candy bar you know. A couple of cups of FroYo, with moderate (and delicious) toppings ran us about $16, which is kind of pricey but that is on our selections instead of the product. The FroYo options, beyond the standard chocolate & vanilla, offered NY Cheesecake, a fabulous Very Strawberry, Cake Batter, and more. You are bound to find something you like. Service is friendly and the dining area is clean and comfortable. There are even a few games on hand should you want to make it more of a family-ish quality time visit. The product offerings allow for diet-friendly choices and even for those who might be lactose intolerant. Pretty good spot, pretty good product, and absolutely worth the stop.

I normally just get the original tart, but they were out. So I got the cake batter without trying and that was a mistake. Unsure if they are using the same recipe from when they were peach wave-- the flavors are highly artificial and very noticeable. A big punch to the tongue, and not in a good way.

I got one kid size scoop for the two-year-old of cotton candy flavor. I got a medium cup for the older grandchild of bubblegum flavor. And I got a medium cup for myself that was a butter brickle type with some candy in it. We took our ice cream around the corner to the seating area. It was busy while we were there, but we found a seat. I thoroughly enjoyed my ice cream and the two year-old eat all of his cotton candy flavored ice cream. The six-year-old regretted the decision of the bubblegum ice cream. I decided to try hers and I agreed, it definitely tasted like bubblegum, but after several bites, I can see where it can make a person nauseous because it was two bubblegum flavored. It pretty much would be like eating a ton of bubblegum. I let her just throw it away because I didn't want her to get sick. Next time she said she would get cotton candy instead. It's a casual atmosphere with a fun signage about picking your ice cream personality. The only thing I would say to improve is the cleanliness of the dining room and the bathroom. But we would definitely try out any location because I think their ice cream is quality.

There's 4 street parking stalls out front on Johnson Dr. The inside is clean & AC was nice on hot days. The girl behind the counter was nice & gave us samples of the gelato that we were curious about. Wifey selected a med cup of dark chocolate and strawberry. I got the med cup with pistachio and coconut. We watched the girl making our cups and noticed she gave more of one flavor than the other in each of our cups. I was a lil disappointed about that. It ended up being 2/3 dark chocolate and 1/3 strawberry in wifey's cup. There was 2/3 pistachio and 1/3 coconut in mine. I like even amounts if you're gonna have a cup with 2 flavors. Lil bit of one flavor mixed with the second flavor. I ended up with a bit more pistachio than I expected. Wifey definitely had more dark chocolate than strawberry. I think next time we'll ask if they can scoop closer to even amounts of each. Although the total amount of gelato was more than worth the cost. We did sit inside since outside was pretty hot and almost no breeze. The place had 3 tables. One had seating for 4 and the other 2 had seating for 2 each. When we entered one of the 2 seater tables had 2 ladies that were jus sitting there with drinks and talking and laughing really loudly. It was echoing in the small room. Other than that it was nice in that cozy lil shop. We liked how the girl behind the counter was patient and welcomed us when we told her it was our first time there. I wanna try some other combos next time. This place reminds me of the lil gelato place we liked back home in Hawaii. A Hui Hou!
