    Wake-Up Wrap - Egg & Cheese

Don't come here if you don't want your food burnt. Apparently this was a "wake up wrap" but looks like a burnt hamster.

They are located off of 11 in limerick, Maine, right beside the boat launch for Sokokis Lake, across from Mill Pizza. It's a small cafe, that serves donuts and coffee. The prices are actually very good. I paid 5.95 for a half dozen homemade donuts. I got 2 maple frosted, an apple crunch, a chocolate crunch, a glazed, a cinnamon powdered sugar. The lady at the counter was very polite, efficient and kind. I'm sure she could tell I had recently been crying, after loosing my 14 year old dog. She was just so kind, and I won't forget it. The selection of donuts were out of this world, and I can wait to get some more ! They had a large selection, of which most were sold out, but she did say if there was any frosted ones I was interested in, she could throw it together real quick. That is very thoughtful and sweet. If you've never been to this place, go check them out, their homemade donuts are to die for !

Limerick, was our pick and Dough Boys Donuts was on our list. When we walked in to my surprise a cute shop with the best customer service! I was on a mission for a lemon filled donut! I headed to pick out my donuts and they only had one lemon filled. I asked for that one and then eyed a chocolate coconut donut. I was very happy. As I was pouring my coffee I said I wished you had more lemon donuts. The baker in the back heard me and said I can make more. Really?! How many do you want? I have never had this kind of customer service ever! So while he was making our lemon donuts we sat by the lake and enjoyed our coffee and delicious donuts! As promised we went back in the shop and on the counter were my donuts all boxed and ready to go home. But wait I saw there were more lemon donuts in the case. Ahh....could we start another box? Lol We will definitely be back for more delicious donuts.

In a place where la famiglia é tutto, they know how to greet you. We were invited in by the quintessential Italian signs as much as the complex aromas. The pastries were a delight, but it was me who was delighted by the Old World style adorning the newly renovated space. A mixture of textures, from wood to stone work to leather chairs helped create the ambiance, and the cathedral ceiling was highlighted by painted white rafters. Today I tried the spiral ham on brioche breakfast sandwich and a café Americano, and I got a pastry with cannoli filling to go. I'm not sure what I'll get next time, but I know this bakery is a recipe for something great about our country. I'm no Maine scholar, but I'm pretty sure the state motto: "Dirigo," translates to "The pastries are delizioso," (give or take.)

The donuts may have been the best I've had - the Boston cream was delightfully fluffy and bursting with custard that was not overpoweringly sweet. I also snacked on a plain croissant on the drive and was content with the crunchy top and honeycomb inside. I saw someone else enjoying a gelato - that will have to be the next on my list! There are two parking areas so if you can't find a spot, drive to the other side of the building!

Get your pick on!…read more Had a fantastic time with the family picking early season raspberries, apples and peaches. The orchard grows a ton of different apple varieties so there's good picking during the full apple season. We got to choose between Zestar and Jerseymac apples during our visit. I'm a big fan of crisp and tart so the Zestars fit the bill. Peach picking was a bit of the same only fewer varieties. Raspberry picking was a fun new experience. You're essentially hunting and the fruit that is ready to be picked will slide off their cone-like cores. Since it was early in the season most of the berries were small or immature and there were a ton of bees buzzing around. I mean a ton where you'd go to pick and they would be buzzing around your hand. Don't worry though! The bees are friendly and indifferent to your picking the fruit. Just be gentle. Pro tip: come on a day where there's a breeze. We went on a still day in August and it was hot! 90 minutes in the sun and we were feeling pretty crunchy.

It was the worst coffee I've ever had in my life and it tasted rancid. When I went back in to switch it out for something else, the employee gave me a hard time and said it was "probably just my taste buds". She did switch it out for a caramel latte but that was also gross and I didn't drink any of it. My mom got a small caramel iced latte, not good either. Could barely taste the espresso or caramel, mostly just milk. My dad got a hot caramel latte, it was fine but same problems as the iced. We also got an apple fritter donut- it was fine but didn't taste like apple nor had any apple in it. Would never come here again and wouldn't recommend, save your money and go to Dunkin instead lol.

It's a local favorite spot. I tried a couple of their breakfast sandwiches, which were decent overall, but what stood out to me were the hashbrowns. Crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned, they ended up being my favorite part of the meal. One of my sandwiches came on a jalapeño bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, and it was surprisingly really good. The bagel had just the right kick of spice, and the cream cheese added a nice extra layer of flavor. Overall, it's a cozy café with some solid breakfast options. I'd come back for the hashbrowns (and maybe another jalapeño bagel sandwich with that cream cheese).
