Their offerings aren't as big as other ice cream shops in the area, but they are of decent quality. I came here primarily because a short time earlier, I ate at "The Crab Shack" around the block and over a small bridge in Kennebunk. They provided me with a "buy one single scoop cone, get one free". So being the frugal foodie I am, decided to capitalize on the 2 for 1 deal. Not sure if it's worth paying full price for.....but the "deal" certainly made it palatable. Everything in the area is overpriced because it's an extremely touristy area that relies heavily on summer business. But the young gentleman behind the counter was very pleasant and a hard worker, so I recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area and in mood for some ice cream.

Parts of this restaurant, actually reminded me of my friend's Mémère's homes along with the wonderful treats and meals. They definitely have a wonderful breakfast menu that is simple and so very satisfying. The bacon - perfection. The pancakes, delicious and filling. The blueberry crumb/coffee cake - moist and delicious. If I had one criticism...it would be the tiny far of maple syrup - not the right ratio, with the size of pancakes they offer. It's ok. I was able to take leftover pancakes home...they reheated really well and I have plenty of Maine maple syrup at home. As part of the restaurant (or vice versa) there is a connected store - which sells almost ever candy imaginable. We love the 12+ different flavors - they are fresh, so it's best to eat them within a week before they start to take on the taste of the wrapper. They are very tender pieces of taffy - not too hard. Makes them really easy to eat - very dangerous LOL This is definitely one of my favorite places in York. I can't wait to return before the start of the next tourist season. Parking is street or in lots about a block/across the street - pay for parking. Download the app in advance.

While I/ we enjoyed talking to others in line- everyone was constantly making jokes about what was going on and where the lines formed and all. Way too much confusion for us and we all agreed on plenty of other places to go next time. Also, a bunch of flavors were not available and the signs did not reflect that so some of us couldn't get what flavors we wanted. After waiting 30 + minutes we all left frustrated, unhappy, and dissatisfied with our ice cream. :(
