There are several reasons to shop at this always very crowded grocery store on Cape Cod…read more One, the prices. They cannot be beat anywhere. Market Basket provides value compared to the other large grocery chains. This not only includes private label products but also branded products. I could easily put a list together on items that are much cheaper here than Stop & Shop. Example: a popular brand of soup. 2 cans for $5 at Market Basket. One (1), can of same exact soup is $4.79 at Stop & Shop...what???? Two, the service. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Also, they always have a decent amount of checkout cashiers, so even on the busy days, the lines are not too bad. Three, the cafe. The cafe has very good takeout food and offers an excellent variety. The pizza is solid. I hear people raving about the steak bombs, but I have not tried one yet. Four, the location. This location is just past the Sagamore bridge as you head east over the canal. It's easy to get to and then get back on the mid-cape highway. The only real negative is that it is generally pretty crowded (for the reasons I mentioned above, I am sure). The store aisles are a bit tight, so it can get pretty hectic in there. However, the pros far outweigh this one con.

Because it's so crowded many pickpocketers prey on distracted people with kids or vacationers. Make sure you don't leave anything in your cart that's a personal item because IT WILL GET STOLEN if you walk more than a foot from your cart. Happened to me and another man in the 30 minutes I was there. I walked three feet to grab eggs and had to wait a minute due to a person in front of me. The criminals took my cart and another person's cart- combining half the items and then walked away with my cart and bag toward an exit. Thankfully the bag was not my purse but they thought it was! In my case they were two dark haired people working together. A security guard who roams the aisles would be a good idea. Really. Be careful!

Leo's Breakfast Restaurant - Sour dough toast with two over fried eggs with a heaping portion of Corn Beef Hash with hash browns. Delicious

I found the place on Yelp, and it was justva short walk from my hotel. When I walked into the parking lot, I knew it looked like my kind of place. I walked inside and the sign said "Seat Yourself", so I did. Very quickly, a pleasant lady walked over with menus and greeted me. As I looked around, I could tell this was a place the locals ate, so I knew it was going to be good! The nice lady, whose name is Cathy, came back with my drink, and took my order. The guy in the next booth had finished eating, so I spoke to him. He was very friendly, and confirmed my thought that this was a place locals loved. When Cathy came by to refill my drink, we talked for a couple of minutes. I told her that I loved hearing her call the local customers by name. Before she walked away, I told her that I was now a "local for the day". She confirmed and said I was her new BFF! The food came, and as expected, it was fantastic! I told Cathy that the fried potatoes reminded me of the ones my grandmother made for ne, when I was a child... and very good memory! Cathy checked on me often, and shared some history about Leo's. She quietly dropped off the check, and never made me feel rushed. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. To make it even better, she walked by my table and dropped off an Oreo scone for me to try! OMG! I'd never had a scone before! This one may have spoiled me! When I was all done, I walked up to the counter to pay, and tell my new BFF thanks and goodbye. She introduced me to the girl that made the homemade scones, so I was able to tell her how awesome they were. We talked for just a few more minutes, and I talked about bringing my wife and son up that way for vacation. Cathy said that she looked forward to meeting them, and then gave me a hug on the way out. So be prepared! You might come to Leo's for a great breakfast, but you're very likely to walk away with a new BFF! Thanks Cathy!

When you walk in, you're not even ready to walk into another world. Very islandy, tropical and fresh! It instantly sets the tone for whatever you're about to order. At first glance, the menu is a bit overwhelming on the chalk board and it is a bit much to even know what to order especially if you've never been here before but once you figure out what you want, it's all a breeze from there. The pretty girls at The Blended Berry take your order, submit it and the rest of the girls get to work on building you a delicious, aesthetic and fresh bowl of your dreams. We didn't even ask what size they were and just ordered up. I got the magic dragon pitaya bowl and my hubby got the peanut berry protein açaí bowl. They were both incredible and delicious on their own! I will say, what stole the show was their fresh peanut butter coating the whole bowl, I'm still hating on it and should've totally ordered some on the side but also to go! These bowls were not just pretty, they were delicious healthy and filling. They had the right amount of toppings to smoothie and were the perfect bite every single time. I'm super obsessed with the two of them and we kept sharing each other's bowls of how delicious they both were. I'm sure their juices and smoothies are also as delicious and if you want some extra little goodies be sure to check out their protein balls in the fridge. I'm not one of those people to "complain" about the bathrooms in a review because seriously who cares, I'm there for the food. But thissssssss might be the one time I do. It was pretty terrible but I'm sure it was a one off. Either way, smoothie bowls here are what count and are absolutely delicious!
