Tiny takeout-only shop about a mile off the main drag was just "aiight" for me. Not bad, but not stellar or noteworthy. Some things better than others. -- Sourdough bread: Excellent flavor and texture. -- Blueberry Danish: A little dry and a little off taste. -- Almond Croissant: Very good texture, slightly warm, but chemical aftertaste to the almond filling. -- Chocolate Chip Cookies: Thin and a little dry. Nice buttery aspect but something off-tasting too. -- Ginger Cookies: Chewy, bendy, and pleasantly strong ginger flavor with no aftertaste. Heavy on the sugar crystals. Easily the best of the cookies. -- Lemon Ginger Shortbread Cookies: Not bad. Definitely buttery and interesting tartness. A little of that "off" taste I can't place. Friendly staff. Easy parking. I should note that the bagels looked good, and we didn't try those, so that might have tipped the scales more in their favor. Again, nothing was bad. The bread and pastry is always outstanding! Love walking in and smelling the freshly baked bread. However today I did not enjoy watching flies land on the pastries. I mentioned the feedback and the server behind the counter said she would pass it along. It only needs the lightweight screens we all have to keep off bugs on our own burgers, fries and baked goods. This was an awesome little spot in the outer edges of Plymouth. Not a place to eat at but to order all the magic from to take home with you. I was just completely blown away by the cranberry cream cheese for the bagels, it was like nothing else I have ever had in my life. Today I phoned an order in for one breakfast sandwich. 45 minutes later it was ready. While it is delicious, as usual, I am very disappointed in how long it took and the staff's reaction. Apparently there was a computer issue and the orders were not getting to the person who makes them. I would feel a bit better if they offered me something to mitigate this, such as a cookie, a coupon for my next visit, etc It is evident that they are ill equipped to deal with the rare mess up. read more

Food is outstanding!! Customer service is lacking...odd interactions, not overly friendly. Pizza is great but it's never ready when they say, they are horrible at managing their pizza business. They take too many orders and can't keep up, on multiple occasions they quote 30 mins and it's takes over an hour to actually get the pizza. Just be honest about wait times. Bagels were some of the best bagels I have had, however upon entering the store I witness the owner verbally berate and yell a teenage employee over a minor mistake. I am not a business owner but that does not seem to be good business practice. This explains why the people behind the counter are often not as friendly/happy as competing bakeries. I prefer the people I interact with to not have tears in their eyes while serving me food, hopefully owner didn't steal the tip I left them, however I would not be shocked. read more

Came in this morning to try these bagels I had seen people raving about! We drove 40 minutes each way and it was well worth it! We were immediately greeted by a polite gentleman, I can't remember his name but he had black hair.. maybe he was wearing a gray sweatshirt. He helped get our bagels for us and bagged them up perfectly. We got a cranberry bagel, two Asiago and a plain. They were all delicious... even after a 40 minute car ride home! This little bread bakery is a gem. Its an hour drive each way, but so worth it. My husband can eat half a loaf on the way home if we don't put it far into the back seat! I personally love the nut & fruit bread or the ginger orange. Everyone we have given biscotti to loves it, so we often buy extra to give to those we have converted and some to freeze. Recently we were in the area on a Sunday and could not get there before it closed, so we called in and Ryan saved us. He took an order for several bags of biscotti and we paid over the phone and he left the package outside in a safe spot so we could swing by and get it. How could you not love a place that did that for their customer? I Just hope they stay small & off the beaten path so the quality and customer service can stay top notch. I buy poppy 7 -10 bagels every7 to 10 days and eat one every Morning. I usually pick them up about 8AM. The top and and bottom are covered with poppies Very good. But I ordered a pizza about 5PM in July 2024 and picked up poppy bagels at that time. No poppies on the tops. The bottoms had some but few. The pizza was soggy most of the way through. No more pizza there. I now only get bagels in the Morning. I suspect the evening Baker needs replacement. read more
