Service and food quality are consistently strong, though it can get hectic when the hockey parents descend on the place -- you'll know when that happens. Pro tip: swing by on a weekday around 11-11:30 and the donut case is nearly fully refreshed. Donuts here are almost always fresh and well done, which isn't something you can say about every Dunkin'. Food highlights: the Snackin' Bacon is a favorite, though the serving size vs. price ratio leaves a little to be desired. My wife is hooked on the Caramel Craze Signature Iced Latte, and the Strawberry Banana Daydream Refresher was a pleasant surprise -- really enjoyed that one. Miss it since it's already gone! We also tried the limited-time Barbie + Dunkin' collab, the Ultimate Pink Daydream Refresher with pink pineapple, oat milk, and strawberry cold foam. Think tropical strawberry milk but sweeter, creamier, and silkier. It wasn't quite my thing, but if you love fruity and sweet, you'll probably enjoy it. One knock: the hash browns are extremely greasy, even by fast food standards. Skip those. The ambiance is fast food meets coffee shop and with many tables and seating options inside and out there are plenty of places to sit and eat in and even get some work done. Usually kept pretty clean, can be quite disheveled if short handed and super busy which can last hours. Overall, a reliable Dunkin' that does the basics well. Came in afternoon for a drink and snack. Walked in, not drive thru. Pretty clean and neat and bright. Waited a few min. to get served, but they did acknowledge me as soon as I got to the counter. I had time to figure out my order. Got Bananarama matcha and 3 Pittsburgh munchkins. Matcha was good but way too much ice. I suggest to ask for low or no ice. Munchkins were like they should be. I like this Dunkin' Donuts- it's a spot we often head to for coffee when I am visiting home- it's nearby and in a central location right off of the Allegheny Valley turnpike exit. The inside is nice, though I rarely go inside. It's clean and well kept. Usually, we just use the drive through to get a quick iced coffee. Dunkin's iced coffee really is delicious. I will say they have gotten my order wrong maybe once or twice, but isn't anything to get too upset about. Their donuts have always been good quality and yummy. Staff had terrible attitudes. One girl was stacking coffee filters while customers waited at the counter to order. They all seemed annoyed that we were even there. The girl checking me out left before the transaction was over to take a drive through order. On top of all that, my coffee is cold and they charged me $4.38 when they told me my total was $1.51. This Dunkin gets 2 stars. The inside "look" is 5 stars. I love this inside of this Dunkin with its exposed ceilings, open feel, garage doors that can open to the outside. It's got an industrial vibe. I also love the value. I can come in with my own travel mug at pay $1.06 for any coffee I want. Pretty great! When fall comes around, the pumpkin coffee is seriously great! Just about everything else is really not good. They rarely have enough doughnuts/bagels to meet the demand this location brings. The store itself is not very clean. The napkin/stirrer station is always disheveled. The. Employees. Are. So. So. Slow. Sometimes they are nice. Often they are not. I think to myself often in this Dunkin that it's a missed opportunity. They can be so busy and really serve a LOT of customers. But, unfortunately, I think people steer clear of this location because they've proven to offer poor service. If they redefine, this location will be a huge huge winner! *update 2/15/17 the old $1.06 deal has been increased to like $1.83 with any mug and $1.49 with a Dunkin mug. Where to start? I've been a loyal Dunkin Donut devotee for years- but this Harmarville shop should be shuttered. Why would they willingly sell you stale donuts at 5 pm? This location is great. I get my coffee here every morning before work. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and know my order by heart. I love being able to walk in there and actually talk with the employees as an old friend instead of the nonchalant greetings. I will say, there does seem to be a few crew members that work harder than others. That also goes for who works better together. You can tell this team needs a bit more "team effort." Overall, the restaurant is great. If you get the chance, ask for Sarah. She is probably the nicest one there and will try to give you the best coffee/donuts/food available. I'm staying at hotel next to it do it's nice to stop in and get a coffee and donuts to go on my way to work. The coffees good but the donuts don't taste as good as they used too. I was at this DD yest (as was the reviewer, Sue) and was also told that the 1st type donut we ordered was not avail, this went on through 4 types of donuts. Finally we asked (@drive-thru), "can you tell us what donuts you still have left?" (mind you, it was only 7:30pm on a Saturday night, November 21, 2015, and DD has no glazed donuts, nor apple fritters, nor coffee rolls, nor glazed twisters, etc...). As we are chuckling with each "we don't have any left" (we chuckled @ the absurdity of this oxymoron, not at her), the worker-bee was getting annoyed at us, AS IF WE WERE THE PROBLEM. Every single time I come through this drive through they tell me they are out of donuts. You think I'd stop trying but you'd think by now they'd be prepping more so they don't run out by 1 pm. Zero stars if I could. By far the worst Dunkin' Donuts I have ever been too. On numerous occasions they have messed up my mobile order. 1. 1/19/18-dates important later on in the examples- I ordered a muffin and when I started to eat it I realized the inside was not cooked at all, it was all batter in the middle. (They gave me 2 gift cards for an apology- a half price drink gift card and a free donut card. But what I called about was a poorly cooked muffin?) 2. 2/23 I ordered a bagel lightly toasted with butter on the side. What I got was a bagel that was badly burnt? Why do you even have an option for lightly toasted if you are going to give me the darkest bagel I have ever seen. 3. I went in the store to use one of my gift cards and they said they could not accept it? Why? Because it expired in 2017. I was given the gift cards on 1/19/2018 so now I couldn't use the two gift cards I was given as an apology to the half baked muffin I was served. The staff during this ordeal was very unpleasant and rude to me. I am sorry that you gave me a gift card in 2018 that expired in 2017. 4. 3/28/18 I ordered a bagel lightly toasted with butter on the side. My family & I decided to exit the toll road to grab some donuts! We were in 2 separate cars. However when we got there no one wanted to help us and they had only a few donuts. The lady at the counter told us they were making some in the back, but won't tell us what they were making. So my whole family left. We were extremely disappointed because we had an hour to get home and wanted a snack. We planned on getting at least 2 dozen and left with nothing because they only had a few muffins and a few donuts holes on the shelf. When I called to get the owners number they didn't want to give it to me and wanted to help me but it was too late as we where on the toll road headed home. How disappointing for my children who was at the hospital visiting their grandfather. We won't be back to that location ever. read more
