Bottom line: OK visit to Dunkin' here in Morrisville Market for a quick donut and coffee. Service was nice and quick to take the order, but a bit of a wait on the coffee. The indoor seating area needed a bit of TLC even early in the morning and the years on it are showing. Donut and coffee are what you'd expect from Dunkin'. The Deets: I left out a bit too early for CVS and needed to cool my heels on a hot summer morning so I went to this nearby Dunkin' location in the neighborhood. Another app told me that I had not been there in 15+ years! It is located within Morrisville Market shopping center in a row of eateries there. This Dunkin' is a combo shop also serving Baskin-Robbins ice cream as well. Upon entering, there was not a line as I noted they do a significant drive thru business here at that time. As I had already had breakfast earlier, I went for a simple order of a sour cream cake-style donut and hot coffee. Service at the counter was pleasant and efficient, noting that you can order by kiosk or with a staff member, I like having that choice (not a kiosk person, myself). My donut was given almost instantly but did have to wait a bit for my coffee, not a painfully long wait though. Of note, the indoor seating area could have used a cleanup even that early in the a.m. as well as noticing the years are showing on it as well. I had my donut, it was good and what you'd expect from a national chain donut shop and the coffee was OK as well. This Dunkin takes the cake at poor quality. I've tried this location out a couple times hoping that the times I went were a fluke; however, they were not a fluke. The quality of the drinks is below fair and slightly above poor. The sandwiches are hit or miss as well. No one acknowledges that you exist when you walk in, the barista at the window will hand you a wet cup with no napkins even if you are polite, and you can almost guarantee that your drink will not be properly mixed. This was random stop for a sweet treat. We arrived to make a drive-thru order and realized you couldn't see the menu good at all. Lighting for the board was broken and no other source was available. So, we decided to go in. The store was clean and one of the two workers was friendly. The other just stood with an attitude and didn't acknowledge anyone. I really didn't care as I was in a mission for a sweet treat not customer service. We did come later in the evening so there wasn't a lot of choice but what I wanted was front and center - the brownie batter donut! The other two just looked interesting. Once we paid and strolled back the car, I started my mini taste tasting haha. The brownie batter was true to the name - it was like eating a spoon of batter! So good! The other two had filling as well - the apple had an apple pie filling and the last one a normal creme filling. Of the two - the apple was amazing! Would I go back? Not really. After I went in to this Dunkin I looked around and the place was clean and nice with a couple of people eating at the indoor tables, it was raining outside so no one was at the outdoor seating. The young man at the counter was efficient didn't seam to want to be there. I ordered a coffee with a little cream and a little sugar, a doughnut , a croissant sandwich, a separate egg, bacon and a side of hash browns. I got my coffee- it was almost all cream- I asked if he could pour 1/2 out and put coffee in the rest- still tasted of cream it seemed like the coffee was super weak. They forgot my doughnut (I went back in) he said Oh and gave me one It was decorated pretty and shaped like a heart. It was ok - not much filling. To be honest, this is by far the worst Dunkin I've ever been to. I used to at least be able to go in the store in the mornings and pick up my mobile order. Now they've locked the doors so nobody can go in and it's only drive thru because the workers couldn't handle it. Every weekend I know I better plan about 30 minutes on average just to get my order. The drive thru window is always staffed with young kids who take their time and mess around in the back. Honestly would stop coming here and go to Starbucks in grace park instead but I prefer the tea at Dunkin over Starbucks... but honestly. It's getting less and less worth it. I have always had quick and polite service at Starbucks. It's like another world and it's just across the street. I've never been in line there more then 5 minutes despite how long the line actually is. As I sit here in line waiting for my to go order that I placed about (you guessed it, 35 minutes ago), I just found out they don't even have the tea I wanted to get before my class. Cool I guess. It is sad they got such poor reviews. They are slow, no doubt but it is not avoidable because each coffee/beverage order is custom and it makes their life challenging. So I didn't mind the wait. Parking is ample, there is drive through, outdoor seating, Baskin Robbins is a neat chain treat! The store is colorful, employees all wore gloves and people kept to 6ft apart. Everyone wore masks. The ice creams were not all the flavors we desired but we had plenty of options. We got mint chocolate chip, coffee chocolate, butter pecan and pistachio almond. All were excellent! We've picked up donuts for the kids here before and they've been fresh even around 11 am. Saw a wide spectrum of donuts, special donut decorating kits for kids under $6 and it looked real fun. We started going to this location because we recently moved near it. It's probably the worst location in the area. The staff needs some proper training, like knowing how their app works, how to make drinks properly, etc. I ordered a drink online and apparently the the espresso machine was broken and for whatever reason they couldn't give me a refund. This location is full of teenager who doesn't know what they are doing. They either mess up your order or your mobile order would never be ready when you arrive. I have been here four times in the past week and every single time I have to wait 5-10 mins to get my drink, which defy the whole point of mobile order . Just moved from another state and I can't believe how bad the service at this location is. Do they even train employees? I've gone consistently 7 times in the last week and a half hoping that they would magically get their shit together to no avail. I've ordered on app for walk in only to find doors locked I've had someone take my order of two drinks give me one and not remember me even ordering the other though I was the only other person in the whole place I've ordered one thing and received something completely different I've driven up aske for decaf tea and the girl points at the coffee saying that we have none. So this location is under new management. The folks seem friendlier. My only sticking point is no matter what management or day of the week, they do not have the donuts I want in the evening hours... Say after 6-7pm and beyond. I did inquire with the friendly drive-through personnel about their inventory in the evening. She explained they place an order from the factory for so many donuts per day or week. My question is why can't they place enough to have donuts in the evening as well? I want to start off by saying I feel I try to be fair when posting a negative review. I try to find something good about the place or service. NOTHING is good about this Dunkin. Please don't waste your time or money , go to any other Dunkin. I would rate this - 0 if I could. The coffee is always burnt, the machines are somehow always broken, the amount of cream they pour in is double any other Dunkin, they don't listen and may I add they don't care. If they get an order wrong and put the wrong flavor in they will say, "no, it's the right flavor." LMAO, ok sure, I guess I'm tasting it wrong. The employees are rude, one girl stares at you for an odd amount of time like she just saw a human for the first time in her life. I was always getting drinks that were dripping wet too, like who serves someone that? I have also had the "mistake," of having the wrong amount of change being given back. But I'm not talking about just change, I mean a substantial error in the amount of cash being given back. I don't TRUST the food or drink I'm being given is safe anymore. When I asked why the girl at the register 'Diya' said "We sold them all and I cant make anymore". I will be sure to call corporate and their manager in the morning to report. I am not a fan of this Dunkin Donuts. I don't know what t is about the Dunks in the south, but they need to step their game up and learn from the Dunks up North. Without fail, 9 times out of 10 my order is ALWAYS wrong especially at this specific Dunkins. And every time I'm with my husband and we order two drinks, one of them is ALWAYS wrong. After a Ms. Tati took my order, I asked if there was wifi available. She said she didn't know and dismissed my question. I asked that if she didn't know, could she please ask someone who might. She rudely and dismissively said she was too busy to ask. You really had to be there, it was an odd response and attitude. Also odd as the store was not very busy and she was surrounded by 3 colleagues. She just could not be bothered to make the effort to ask and to provide basic service. Seeing that she didn't care about this, I asked those colleagues and easily got an answer. As a result I've given the store 1 star, and I will happy revise this up if I see a response from Management about improving their customer service. I understand that during Covid, things are different and if you have reduced hours that makes sense but if that is the case, then change that online and change that in your door. 9:15 is not 10. First time at this Dunkin so horrible experience in comparison to other Dunkins in the North and South! This one had a line out the door people were eating outside not in. Only one register with no paper even when they switched registers. So we never got our receipt. The dirty tables, floor and overflowing trash were definitely the reasons no one was eating in. I got a stale bagel and only had 3 choices of cream cheese to pick from I thought since it was a chain you would at least have the same cream cheese. They had a Baskin Robbins inside! Why the Morrisville board of health has not closed them down or Dunkin and Baskin hasn't pulled their brand from the owners yet I don't know it's food poisoning waiting to happen! read more
