When I first pulled up to the building it was 7:30am, and they were open. But the windows somehow made it look dark inside, and I literally had to put my nose to the glass to see any activity. Otherwise I might have thought they were closed and kept going (special glass that cuts down glare inside?). Once inside there are several different areas for seating; the bar with stools, the front windows ledge with more stools, or the center area that has larger tables for various size groups. Lots of natural light from the front windows. The interior design, is a bit industrial, well lit, and welcoming. Things were neat and clean. Inside there was a short line to the counter which was right ahead. Took a few minutes to arrive at counter and order. Got a pleasant greeting and help with the order. I ordered the usual London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender,little vanilla, and extra foam). They didn't have much in the way of pastries/bakery. They were out of the Coffee Cake, but suggested the Apple Galette supplied by Miss Molly Bakery. They don't have the ability to warm up the bakery, which was a little disappointment. They took their time steeping the tea, which is a good thing. It came with a nice head of foam, had great flavor, and was the right temperature (148F). Texture-wise it could have been a little creamier. The Apple Galette was amazing. The crust was flakey and nicely sprinkled with course sugar. The apples had great flavor and were moist. The atmosphere was relaxed and most people were having quiet conversations. There's a very chill cat (Sugar) roaming around the place, and occasionally keeping people company. Not my favorite, but definitely a place that I would return to.

Prices are cheap. A medium coffee and cookie cost less than $2.50. Nothing is outstanding, but neither bad. There is no kitchen or bakery, and it seems like bakery items are just store bought and resold. Breakfast sandwich is microwaved Jimmy Dean (just what I get at home!). Would I come back? Yes! Especially when in the vicinity and needing a quick pick me up. Though I'm not sure that I'd go out of my way to come. Attend to your children - they will be given espresso and a kitten if not.

I typically find it to be a very good experience…read more The locations are all designed differently, and each has qualities that make it unique among other Fiddleheads and local coffee shops. This particular location has plenty of space for different size groups. You can choose between the downstairs area, an upstairs space, or a nicely appointed outdoor patio. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. The baristas are usually high quality, but occasionally you will get someone who is either in training or using their own techniques. Today was a good example of that challenge. My usual London Fog Tea Latte was a surprise. You can check out the pictures. Whoever made it steeped the tea in the cup and then poured the steamed milk over the top, instead of removing the steeper and then adding the milk. No worries. I went back and they were happy to fix it. The reworked one was a bit cooler than I like, but the texture was much better. The bakery here is good too. There is a nice selection, though it does not taste as fresh as if it were made on site. I always ask to have bakery items warmed up, which I think improves the taste.

My favorites are their danishes, morning bun, and babkas. I love that they also have fun seasonal items as well. I typically stop by around 8:00am during the weekdays and there have been times where the space is packed. If you're in a rush, they also take orders online for pick up. You can either come or use the outside pickup window for your order. While the seating inside is limited, they have a huge patio space! I definitely want to stop by sometime in the spring/summer. :-)

First off crazy amazing deal and easy process to pick up my bag. I ordered a large bag - if you're unfamiliar it's like a mystery bag and helps local businesses sell unsold food items to not create waste. The bag had a loaf of white bread, two cranberry orange muffins, monkey bread!!! and this delicious swirled croissant cinnamon pastry thing.

There are quite a few coffee shops now within a few blocks in that area, but this is another strong addition to the bustling coffee scene in Tosa.

I wanted to get a London Fog Tea Latte, but they were out of Earl Grey, so I ordered a Chai Latte instead. They didn't have a scone, but the cinnamon roll with icing looked pretty good too. Offered to warm it up, and I said definitely yes. It took a few minutes for the drink to be ready, which means they let the tea steep properly. When it got delivered to my table, I was pleasantly surprised by the latte art in the foam. I have never had a barista give me that special treatment and was thankful. The cinnamon roll was warm, gooey, and delicious. Definitely a place that I would return to.
