Every time I come to South-ridge Mall it's a must for some boba. I went in on 01/20/2024 and the girl who was taking my order wasn't very bubbly or customer friendly. Since going to China town I have become addicted to boba tea and now it's right nearby at south ridge as well. Came hoping to meet Fergie, or at least Will I Am. Should have gone to Fergielicious. The girls at Bubblicious are really nice and were eager to tell me that they use real tea for their drinks. The bubbles were hard and squishy like chewing gum but had a really nice sweet taste to them - so at least they weren't tasteless. The taste of the boba is the reason this place got a 4 instead of a 3, because hard bubbles don't do it for me, lol. The tea itself really just tasted like milk. It didn't do much for me. It was the classic milk, which is usually what I order. But no tea flavour - too American. However, between the nice service and the large portions and the fact that despite the lack of taste, it went down well, not to mention the sweet tasting overly-Chewy Boba, I will settle on four stars for this lovely little stand in the mall. Milwaukee doesn't have an ideal selection when it comes to bubble tea/boba places, but after a chance encounter with Bubblelicious on a random shopping trip, we've been making the drive out to Greendale almost every other weekend just for a shake. It's a small kiosk on the first floor of the Southridge Mall located across the way from a Starbucks. It's a fairly small operation in terms of staffing and capacity, too, so we've noticed that a long line takes a little while to clear up as the folks behind the counter do their best to churn orders out. There are a lot of options to pick from depending on what you're in the mood for - milk teas, regular teas, shakes, and the accompanying extras like tapioca pearls, "popping" boba or puddings. The milk teas are good if a little bland depending on who makes it, but our personal favorite are the shakes. Both from the favorites menu, the green tea + avocado shake and "snowy milk" with caramel shake are great. Definitely more of a heavy drink (it's a shake, of course), but we've never been disappointed with either. Super rich, sweet, and very worth the drive every time. read more

I've been here 3-4x so far since I live out of state. I visit MKE frequently and this place is conveniently in the mall. MKE had been in need of a decent boba place that uses real tea. The first 2xs I went were fine. The boba was a good consistency, and the latte based drinks were mixed well. The last time I ordered (Dec. 31st), my drink was not mixed. I didn't mind since I figured I could just stir it myself. What I didn't realize, however, was that the milk had been separating from the tea and sweetener for a reason. After mixing it, I noticed the milk was curdling around the cup and straw. It tasted sour and I figured I'd go back to the stand to let the employees know that the milk was most likely spoiled. When I went back the stand was unattended for some time. I even tried coming back 2 more times (5, 10 mins later) and couldn't find anyone, so I simply tossed the drink and considered it a loss. I did see a hiring sign, so perhaps they're looking to add more people. I am willing to give it another try as long as they're adequately staffed. I've also worked retail before, so the lackluster service may simply be due to the holiday work and a long day. I was feeling some bubble tea one night so I decided to drag my husband and sister to Southridge for some! Bubblelicious is a little kiosk in the center of the mall by Starbucks. They offer many flavors of bubble tea as well as milk tea, including taro, pineapple, coffee, etc. I opted for the mango boba tea with poppin boba since they were out of regular boba. It was delicious! I loved the poppin boba, which are little pearls filled with mango-flavored liquid. Kind of like sushi caviar but fruity! Yum. I've been to Bubblelicious twice now. The first time I ordered the lavender flavored tea with boobas. I like that you can control the sweetener level as other places I am gotten bubble tea from I found far too sweet. The second time I tried to order was at 8pm on a week day and they had run out of boobas. This was a huge disappointment. The teas are pretty sweet on their own so next time we will probably get it less sweetened, which is an option they offer. One thing to note is that they do not offer caffeine-free teas. Cute and convenient little stand in the middle of the mall with lots of flavors and friendly service. I made the trip specifically to try the Taro flavor (the best flavor ever), which a lot of bubble tea places do not have. The taro flavor was a bit on the weak side, but still was incredibly yummy and hit the spot! What I really loved were the tapioca balls, since there were packed with flavor and the perfect consistency. The southridge location has really deteriorated. I used to love going here but the quality of drinks are always inconsistent. Sometimes the drinks are sweet, sometimes flavorless and sometimes so chunky that it's hard to drink. The reason for my review however they're always out of boba!!! Consistently..today is my 5th time going to order and getting turned away because there was no boba. Either I have very bad luck or there could be something done to be more efficient and consistent. Why do they wait to make more boba only once they've run out ?? Then it's 30 minute wait. Not to mention there was three employees present who seemed to be just hanging around during their 30min break. It's also unpleasant to see employees with they hair down and no aprons. We usually come here frequently for bubble tea. The service is typically subpar, but today's experience was rough. 3 girls working. One was making out with her boyfriend over the small side wall by the cash register. Continued for a bit after I walked up and started giving my order to another girl who was pretty sandwiched between the making our couple and the register. She tells my order to the third girl who appeared to be new based on the amount of questions she asked the other girls, which they were not super helpful, and just barked orders at her. She ended up overflowing the cup and too it to the sink and began leveling it off with her bare finger while the other girls take out their phones and mess around not offering any support. She continues to level it off with her finger then wipes the side with her hands, puts a lid on hands it to me and says sorry about that. disgusting. I don't blame her because she is obviously new, but if the other two girls could get their tongue in their own mouths and phones put away maybe they could have helped her out. Do better. read more

I work near this location so i have visited multiple times and i live near the mayfair location so i have visited that one often as well. The customer service at the Southridge location is no match to the mayfair one. The employees at the mayfair location have always been so friendly with me. There was one time I went to the mayfair location and they were working on making fresh boba (which i wanted in my drink) however the girl at the cash register mentioned a couple of different options i could choose from if i didn't want to wait! (I didn't mind waiting though, especially after experiencing such great customer service). At the southridge one they do not bother to give alternative options, and they don't seem to want to be there. My drinks at the southridge location also never taste as good as they do at mayfair. Maybe the owner should consider speaking with the employees at Southridge about their behavior. read more
