I have been here a few times now and tried different bowls and smoothies- my top favorites include the protein bowl and the choco craze smoothie! I also love how you can customize and add in different ingredients, such as fruits, nut butters, or protein powder to make it your own. The food menu is fairly limited, but I will say that the avocado toast and bagel with cream cheese both hit the spot. They also serve coffee/tea drinks which I have yet to try, and have a variety of other items to look over in the shop. Every time I have stopped by the staff has been friendly and efficient in serving customers. Definitely recommend trying out Karma if you are in the Bayview area and are looking for some nutritious food/beverage options! (Yes this is coming from a Dietitian;) )

The strawberries and granola on top were a nice touch, along with the drizzle of honey. I went with one other person and he had the PB Protein Smoothie which was fantastic as well! I wasn't sure how well pineapple would pair with peanut butter, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. Pineapple is such a nice addition to the traditional peanut butter and banana combo. My only gripe is the price point. $10 for a smoothie bowl and $8 for a smoothie seems a little steep. But then again, you're paying for healthy, yummy, high quality food. The gal who runs the shop is also so nice and efficient. I will definitely be returning to Karma Café!

Really, you can't go wrong with any of their flavors. They are all excellent! Quick story time: I brought my favorite Juiced! selection (Lean & Clean) to school with me one day. My students asked why my juice was green and I told them it was green because of the kale in it. They were certainly...skeptical that a juice made of kale could taste good. So the next day, I brought another bottle in for them to try and to everyone's surprise, they really liked it!
