First time stopping in at Bora Bora, a new spot in Oak Creek…read more Went in before work and had the place to myself, aside from the staff. Service was friendly and efficient. Vibe was hip and tropical, the kind of place that would be fun to linger in with friends if the schedule allowed. Ordered a large iced caramel macchiato. Alternative milk options included soy, almond, coconut, and oat. Went with coconut. Also got the Kinder Crepe. Served with a Kinder bar on top, Kinder sauce, and dark chocolate. Rich, but well balanced. With tip, both items came to just over $20. Price point may be enough to give some people pause. Quality, ambiance, and the range of the menu (iced coffees, smoothies, açaí bowls, crepes, waffles, ice cream drinks) make it worth adding to the list.

The unicorn ice cream was really good my client said she loved the mango she described it as perfect. I had the bora berry smoothie and it was a regular smoothie to me nothing too spectacular I just wanted to get something simple to see how it would be. I am really interested in trying a croffle and a smoothie bowl so I'll surely be back. Their pricing was slightly reasonable as well, I believe the unicorn ice cream was about $6-7. Definitely give a try if you're in the area they have something for everyone from protein smoothies to sandwiches to shakes!

Bliss Bowls is a cute shop with a lot of options for toppings. Their signature bowls are varied and they have blue spirulina as a base swap and various other toppings if plain acai isn't your thing. I ordered the peanut butter bowl and I thought the prices weren't terrible considering it is an açaí shop, but they weren't great either given the amount of açaí in the bowl and the overall flavor profile. They serve it soft serve style which means it comes in the typical soft serve 'cone' shape which leaves a bit of room in the container after accounting for air bubbles and shaking it in place. The presentation of it is cute and super picture worthy. The açaí itself tasted a bit bland and had a little bit of a chalky texture from the ice crystals, which means they probably don't use fillers or added sweeteners, but it also seemed a little bit too diluted in taste. I thought the honey in the peanut butter bowl would've added some natural sweetness but it didn't really do much. I appreciate that they offer natural peanut butter (just unsalted peanuts) as a topping but the peanut butter was a bit dry and hard to mix into the açaí bowl. I ended up eating most of it in a few spoonfuls without even trying to. Overall, I appreciate Bliss Bowls being in OC, but I can't say I will be buying açaí from here very often.

They offer gelato, frozen yogurt with toppings, and a variety of other desserts. The staff was friendly, patient while we looked over the menu, and even let us sample the gelato. I had cookies & cream with pistachio, while my wife enjoyed pistachio and Biscoff. Both were delicious. The shop was clean, well lit, and surprisingly not too busy. We'll definitely be back.

They have a bunch of gelato flavors, boba sundaes, Italian ice, and more! I decided to get a scoop of Superman gelato in a cup. If you were born in the 1900s, you might have had this flavor at a TCBY as a kid. Well, I had to go for it and it tasted JUST like I remembered! It's a couple different flavors in one scoop--blue vanilla, pink bubblegum, yellow lemon and green sherbet or something like it. Either way it was great and was only $6. My fiancée got one scoop of the mango gelato and it it was also very good and didn't have too much mango that it was overpowering. Hers was also $6, which isn't too bad for a scoop of gelato in this day and age. But they do have soft serve cones for $3.50ish if you want regular soft serve and don't want to spend as much money. The inside is cute and has neon signs of different things, it wasn't very busy when we were there. It is in the middle of a strip mall but don't let the outside fool you--the service was great and helpful. We weren't sure what was included in the boba or Italian ice and they were nice enough to tell us. I'd come back to try the Italian ice or to get the Superman scoop when I want some nostalgia.
