Sandwiches are perfectly sized, made with soft bread, filled with fresh ingredients although I'll usually opt for a mini version of the sandwich and pair it with a cup of soup (multiple soup options daily!). I've yet to have a sandwich here that I didn't thoroughly enjoy and I always check the monthly specials too. I appreciate the condiment bar filled with pickles, black olives and various peppers to add some extra spice to my sandwiches, including small to-go containers. The yummy ice cream offered is Maggie Moo's and is priced by weight, with different flavors offered at each Chocolate Factory location. The punch card is an extra bonus for customers to accumulate punches for a free sundae or sandwich.

Yes I'm a full on tourist and I like to do touristy things, especially when it comes to food. This place has the feel of a place that's been around for a very long time and a beloved institution. The people here are friendly as can be and just the whole vibe and ordering styles are like an old school dinette or drive-through. Of course, I ordered the custard here. And when I took my first bite, I had an epiphany moment where I felt like I haven't really truly tried frozen custard before. So delicious and such a reasonable price for delicious treat. When I left, I was thinking to myself how lucky the folks of Milwaukee are to have places like this in their neighborhood.

Soft custard, better served in a dish. The butter pecan is rich, and the maple nut was a nice taste for the season.

Then the sundae... so good. Perfect amount of pie crust mixed with chocolate and vanilla custard and chocolate shavings. I got a small for $7, but it was still pretty big. Service was fast considering how busy they were, and they have some outdoor seating benches overlooking a waterfall backdrop. Very comfortable I say. I make this proclamation from this day going forward. Any time I am in Milwaukee, I will visit Kopp's frozen custard. They have a bunch of gelato flavors, boba sundaes, Italian ice, and more! I decided to get a scoop of Superman gelato in a cup. If you were born in the 1900s, you might have had this flavor at a TCBY as a kid. Well, I had to go for it and it tasted JUST like I remembered! It's a couple different flavors in one scoop--blue vanilla, pink bubblegum, yellow lemon and green sherbet or something like it. Either way it was great and was only $6. My fiancée got one scoop of the mango gelato and it it was also very good and didn't have too much mango that it was overpowering. Hers was also $6, which isn't too bad for a scoop of gelato in this day and age. But they do have soft serve cones for $3.50ish if you want regular soft serve and don't want to spend as much money. The inside is cute and has neon signs of different things, it wasn't very busy when we were there. It is in the middle of a strip mall but don't let the outside fool you--the service was great and helpful. We weren't sure what was included in the boba or Italian ice and they were nice enough to tell us. I'd come back to try the Italian ice or to get the Superman scoop when I want some nostalgia.
